Chapter 217: No Divorce, No Seperation

Chapter 217: No Divorce, No Seperation

In the dimly lit courtyard, under the gentle glow of the moon and scattered candlelight, Xu Feng found himself in an unexpected exchange with Xuan Yang.

The atmosphere was serene, yet there was an undercurrent of tension as Xuan Yang’s gaze deepened, resembling the darkness of the night itself. The candles flickered, but their light seemed insignificant compared to the intensity in his eyes.

"Teaching Jian bad things. You’re very good at teaching bad things," Xuan Yang observed, his voice low.

Xu Feng sighed softly, recognizing the implication in Xuan Yang’s words. "I am," he admitted with no hint of regret.

Xuan Yang leaned down once again and captured the red lips with his own. The kiss was uncontrolled this time, full of passion and desire. He was no longer teasing, now it was like he was feasting on his partner. The earlier meal was only an appetizer.

Deep and intentional, each stroke of his tongue making Xu Feng quiver with lust, as the cool night air did nothing to cool his passion.

Even under the light cloak, he could feel his nipples hardened to peaks, and his lower body dripping. His jade sword was restrained by his pants, but it would be throbbing against his abdomen otherwise.

The amount of desire was abnormal but welcome to his aching body. Visions of his wedding night flashing—minus the pain of course—blurring the lines of reality and make believe.

As they "conversed," the moonlight gently bathed the courtyard, casting a calming aura over their "discussion."

Another set of hands gently wrapped itself around Xu Feng’s waist. This one was strong and firm, Xu Feng couldn’t help but to begin rubbing at the tout muscles moving up the new set of hands.

Xuan Yang moved away from his still swollen lips as Xu Feng gasped for breath, still struggling to kiss and breathe at the same time. This was not an area he was particularly talented in.

Then a new kiss began, this one gentle but hungry.

Xuan Jian was more intentional with his tongue, stroking at the roof of Xu Feng’s mouth until the ger began bucking his hips against Xuan Yang. Only then did he withdraw.

"New things, but not all the way." Xuan Jian gasped as he relayed the message Xu Feng didn’t know he needed. The two snakes had an eventful day as well, but not a complete experience, not yet. "Yang has promised to practice with toys until we can."

Xu Feng smirked at Xuan Yang. A newfound respect was hidden behind the playful gesture. The young master was a good lover, even with his title and standing, he was still willing to switch for his lover.

"We will finish this conversation another time," Xuan Jian seemed to come back to his senses, the grin on his face dimming again. He was excited at this new development with Xuan Yang, but...

"Sigh," Xuan Yang released a weighty breath before redirecting the conversation once again. "It’s not about control Xu Feng. It’s not safe in the mountains."

"It’s not." Xu Feng agreed. He wanted to end this conversation, but also wanted to be open with his partners if possible, "Because of the Xuan family secrets? Or because there’s a virgin forest with large animals?"

The two men hovering around Xu Feng froze momentarily. Xu Feng saw something pass behind Xuan Yang’s eyes and prepared himself for a lie, but was unexpectedly surprised. "Both."

With that Xu Feng grinned up at Xuan Yang. If he was going to be honest, there was nothing else Xu Feng couldn’t stand between them.

"I want to know more than just what I need to be safe. Whether we stay together for some time or we separate in the future. I can’t go on like this."

"No separation." Xuan Yang answered back immediately, the look in his eyes chilling.

"No." Xuan Jian repeated, but Xu Feng could no longer see his face from the angle he was propped up in Xuan Yang’s arms.

"No divorce?" He instead asked tentatively.

"Divorce if you want, Xu Feng, but no separation."

With the words from Xuan Yang the Blooming courtyard was silent, bathed in the soft glow of spring moonlight, emanating an ethereal charm. Shadows danced on the ancient cobblestones.

The air was fragrant with the sweet scent of flowers in bloom, carried by a gentle breeze that rustled the leaves, but Xu Feng couldn’t smell it. His mind was racing as was his heart.

As Xu Feng shivered slightly from the cool night air, Xuan Yang, without a word, swiftly scooped him up in a gentle embrace, carrying him toward the warmth of the main house.

The transition from the open courtyard to the living room was seamless, leaving behind the tranquil beauty of the night. As they stepped into the house, warmth enveloped them, contrasting with the cool night air outside. Here, among the familiar furniture and soft, warm lighting, the conversation resumed in a more intimate setting.

"Why?" Was all Xu Feng could say, but what he meant was ’Why no separation?’ He could get a divorce, but why couldn’t they separate? Would they want him to hang around and be present for the unborn child?

He needed a reason, so he wouldn’t have to conjure one up.

In the silence that followed Xu Feng began to grow frustrated for a different reason. It was always like this they make a breakthrough, then they’re back to square one.

The sad then angry glint in his eyes couldn’t be hidden, and Xu Feng tried to wiggle his way out of Xuan Yang’s arms. Ignoring both the human lap he was sitting on, and his other lover sitting beside them.

"How can I live without you?" Xuan Yang choked out, and then there was silence once again before he continued. "Can you live without me?"

"I don’t want to." Xu Feng was still caught off guard, but he answered truthfully. He was craving open communication, how could he be the one to stay silent in this situation?

"Neither do I."

"Nor I."

The affirmations from both Xuan Yang and Xuan Jian made the silver haired ger become still. So still it was uncertain if he was still breathing. But moisture pooled in his eyes, never to fall.

Should he be happy with this confession, or should he push the limits?

"Well, I need to be in love and in a committed relationship to feel secure..." Xu Feng stated, ready to start another standoff if need be. He needed this. Even if it wasn’t love for them, he needed to know where he stood with both of these men.

What was the line he wasn’t allowed to cross?
