Xu Feng lay there, his chest rising and falling rapidly, his breaths coming in short gasps. He felt as if the air around him had thinned, and his body struggled to draw in enough oxygen. Each inhale felt shallow, and he could feel the slight tightness in his chest as his lungs worked overtime.
