"Mi-mistress?" Nine almost blurted out in shock, but Thirteen’s glare helped him to zip his mouth.

’What the hell is wrong with this sudden turn of events? When did that courtesan turn into Mistress herself? Are my eyes playing a joke on me? How come I didn’t realize it? I even tried to play tricks on her a few times! Will My Lord forgive me for this???’

Panicked, Nine turned to see Yun Shu, who had a subtle smile on the corner of his face.

’No, this devil will never let it slide so easily. Good, very good, Nine. You dug your own grave just now. Who the f**k told you to mind that devil’s business?’

Nine didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, but came back to his senses after getting stepped on his feet hard by Thirteen.

"That’s right. I’m not taking Zai Ci, but my wife." Yun Shu said in a relaxed tone as she extended her hand towards a certain someone.

Of course Bai Yunxian understood what he meant, however, staring at Yun Shu, he suddenly felt as if a cat extended its paw arrogantly.

Sure enough, it was a fierce cat that knows how to bite!

Bai Yunxian shook his head to get rid of such ridiculous thoughts from his head as he quietly walked up to Yun Shu’s side, taking his hand without hesitation.

"This is... Zai Ci? How...?" Feng Haoran was the most shocked among the people inside the room after watching Bai Yunxian’s angelic female appearance. Because he never really knew the truth inside yet.

"Hmm, my wife likes to cause trouble for me, and I like to spoil her. That’s why she ran away from home to follow me and ended up here, that’s all you need to know. Beside that, make sure no information gets leaked about her running away from home and coming here. Things are already risky as it is now, I don’t want any mice to get wind of this and cause trouble on the way."

’What does he mean by making trouble? Didn’t I help him with such a tough case just now?’

Bai Yunxian didn’t like Yun Shu’s way of speaking as he pouted and secretly relieved his anger, but unfortunately for him, Yun Shu saw through him very well.

Yun Shu wasn’t able to finish her sentence as a small hand covered her mouth.

Blushing crimson red, Bai Yunxian stammered.
