Chapter 743: Chapter 691: Eliminate the Roots
Although Sun Mengmeng didn’t like showing off, it didn’t mean she didn’t enjoy seeing Liu Hun show off. Moreover, with today’s events, everyone would probably know Liu Hun was her boyfriend now, which not only meant fewer pests around her but also gave her a sense of satisfaction.
Women are all swayed by vanity, wanting their men to be respected regardless of who they are.
Liu Hun sighed and said nothing more. Now that Zhang Fan and the others had already arrived, what more could he say?
“Boss, sister-in-law, you take this car; I’ll sit in the back.” Seeing Sun Mengmeng speak up, Zhang Fan chuckled, hurriedly opened the car door, and handed the car keys to Liu Hun.
Zhang Fan and his crew arrived quickly and left just as fast, but the scene became the biggest explosive news at Southeast University this year.
Liu Hun didn’t care about these things at all. After taking Sun Mengmeng home, she acted like a hostess, pouring tea for Zhang Fan and the others, then smiled and said, “You guys drink first; I’m going to take a shower, then I’ll cook dinner.”
Perhaps because of Zhang Fan, this time Sun Mengmeng didn’t return to the Chen Family home; instead, Liu Hun drove straight to her house.
“Sister-in-law can cook? I remember you never used to step foot in the kitchen,” Zhang Fan said, somewhat surprised.
The Zhang and Chen families had always been close, so it was natural for Zhang Fan to know Sun Mengmeng from childhood and be aware that she couldn’t cook.
“If I can’t cook, can’t I learn?” Sun Mengmeng, exposed by Zhang Fan, blushed slightly and glared at Zhang Fan before heading upstairs.
“Boss, I can only say you are too powerful. I’ve known Mengmeng since we were kids; she has always been fierce, even scarier than my sister who is more of an icy beauty. Boss, you’ve tamed her like she’s a kitten. You are truly worthy of being my boss.” After Sun Mengmeng left, Zhang Fan gave Liu Hun a thumbs up and buttered him up.
“By the way, boss, let me introduce you. These guys are all my good brothers. They came to help today and also wanted to meet my boss, Cheng Feng. What do you think, isn’t my boss as talented and handsome as I’ve told you?”
“Being able to defeat Zhang Chen and tame Mengmeng, I, Cheng Feng, am impressed. Since you’re Xiao Fan’s boss, from now on, you’re our boss too,” Cheng Feng said candidly.
“Alright, I called you here today because I want you to help me check out the Green Dragon Gang. Since I’ve offended them, I wouldn’t mind thoroughly offending them,” Liu Hun said, a hint of chill flashing in his eyes.
Those who hung around with Zhang Fan were definitely not simple characters. Among them, Cheng Feng was the most prominent. Cheng Feng was initially just curious about Liu Hun, and his earlier words were merely polite. But feeling the fleeting chill in Liu Hun’s eyes made him feel a slight shiver.
“Boss, if you’re asking about the Green Dragon Gang, I might know some insider info,” Cheng Feng said, suppressing his shock and slowly speaking to Liu Hun.
After Cheng Feng finished speaking, Liu Hun frowned slightly. According to Cheng Feng, the Green Dragon Gang had over a dozen entertainment venues and also trafficked drugs. They were a well-entrenched force in the Provincial City. The reason they hadn’t been touched by the authorities over the years seemed to be that someone was backing them up; otherwise, they would have been wiped out long ago.
“Boss, although the Green Dragon Gang traffics drugs, it’s only in small quantities. After all, no matter where you are, it’s impossible to completely control these substances. Moreover, they have a strong background, which naturally helped them grow stronger. If possible, it’s best not to provoke them,” Cheng Feng advised, seeing Liu Hun silent.
“If I don’t provoke them, do you think they won’t provoke me? Maybe in a few days, I’ll leave Provincial City and return to the village, but I can’t ignore Mengmeng’s safety. Alright, you guys go home after dinner; I’ll handle this matter,” Liu Hun said calmly.
…
After dinner, everyone else left, only Zhang Fan and Cheng Feng stayed behind.
“Though rationality tells me, staying isn’t a wise decision, I’m just too curious,” Cheng Feng said, looking at the gaze Liu Hun cast toward him.
“Boss, my grandfather has already thrown me to you. Whatever you do, I naturally have to follow,” Zhang Fan chuckled weirdly.
Liu Hun looked deeply at the two men, then said solemnly, “Can you guys get me ten kilograms of drugs?”
“Ten kilograms of drugs?!” Hearing this number, Zhang Fan immediately got frightened. Getting caught with that amount could easily land someone in prison for life.
“I can get it for you; it’ll take about an hour,” Cheng Feng said, his eyes shining as he looked at Liu Hun.
“Fine, I’ll see you at Emperor Entertainment City in an hour,” Liu Hun said with a deep look at Cheng Feng, then drove away.
As soon as Liu Hun left, Zhang Fan anxiously turned to Cheng Feng and asked, “What exactly do you think the boss wants to do? Ten kilograms of drugs—that’s not a joke.”
“That’s exactly why I admire him,” Cheng Feng replied. “Fan, let me be clear to you now, we are following the right person. He is a dragon and a ruthless one at that. If we stick with him, we might encounter some bumps in our lives, but it will be worth it for the excitement, much more so than just being a playboy; come on, you’ll understand this soon.” Cheng Feng’s eyes shone with a glint as he watched Liu Hun’s receding figure, then he took a deep breath and walked towards the exit.
“Fuck, everyone thinks I’m stupid, right? Even if you don’t tell me, I’ll find out soon enough, damn it!” Zhang Fan cursed under his breath and hurried after Cheng Feng.
Liu Hun drove to Emperor Entertainment City, parked the car at a distance, then took out a realistic face mask from his pocket. These were available on the market, so it wasn’t unusual for Liu Hun to have acquired a few.
After putting on the mask, Liu Hun got out of the car and muttered under his breath while looking at Emperor Entertainment City ahead, “Green Dragon Gang… I told you I’d turn you into the Green Snake Gang…”
“Hey, handsome, it’s a bit lonely to drink alone, isn’t it?” Liu Hun entered the entertainment city where the first floor housed a bar. Surrounded by the seductive lights and people wildly dancing, Liu Hun seemed out of place, sitting alone at the bar.
Following the voice, he saw a voluptuous woman propping herself up, her eyes slightly narrowed and the corners of her mouth smiling, staring straight at Liu Hun.
Liu Hun glanced at the woman’s delicate features and then looked downward. She was wearing a short skirt, and below her white neck, a deep cleavage drew his gaze.
“Xiao Fang, pour us two drinks.” The woman seemed indifferent to Liu Hun staring at her body and chuckled as she ordered the bartender.
“Yes, Sister Hua,” responded the bartender respectfully, swiftly pouring two drinks and handing them over.
“This drink is on me,” Sister Hua said to Liu Hun with a light laugh.
“The restless times have indeed cultivated a lonely heart,” Liu Hun replied, drinking his glass in one gulp.
“You’re not only handsome but your words are also full of meaning. From those eyes of yours, I see a vastness that belies your age,” she flirtatiously sipped her drink, her red lips giving an incredibly seductive air.
Liu Hun glanced at Sister Hua, opened his arms, and lightly embraced her waist. Before he applied any force, Sister Hua willingly fell into his arms, flicking her eyelids up with a playful laugh, “You know, not many dare to make a move on me here. Over the years, you are the first.”
“If no one has broken this rule before, then allow me to be the first,” Liu Hun responded, his lips curling slightly as he savored the fragrance of Sister Hua’s breath and the heaving of her ample breasts against his chest.
Liu Hun had barely finished speaking when, without a word, she pursed her lips and then directly pulled him towards the restroom.
Just as they reached the restroom, Liu Hun suddenly stopped, looked into Sister Hua’s eyes, and said, “I’m a person who likes thrills, and I don’t fancy doing it in such repressive places.”
Hearing Liu Hun’s words, Sister Hua paused briefly, then covered her mouth with a grin, “I didn’t realize you were so particular.”
“It depends on the person. For a girl like you, naturally, it has to be special. I prefer high places,” Liu Hun added at the end.
“Giggle, your sweet talk must have charmed many girls, huh?” Sister Hua laughed heartily, then led Liu Hun towards the elevator.
Since Liu Hun had entered Emperor Entertainment City, he noticed that security surrounded the elevators and some facilities upstairs were temporarily closed. He wasn’t sure if it was because of the fight he had with some thugs during the day, but if he wanted to go upstairs unnoticed, he had to rely on Sister Hua.
“Sister Hua, the boss said today no outsiders are allowed upstairs…” As they reached the elevator, two security guards stopped them, glancing at Liu Hun.
“Move aside.” Sister Hua’s face showed a trace of coldness, then she ignored them and walked into the elevator with Liu Hun.
“Is something going on in the entertainment city today? Some of the facilities upstairs are out of service,” Liu Hun curiously asked Sister Hua inside the elevator.
“Just a minor issue. You wanted thrills, right? I will take you to the rooftop then. They’re just next door. However, I must warn you, if we’re discovered, you might not make it out alive. So, do you still dare to go?” Sister Hua looked at Liu Hun with a smiling gaze.
“**A moment of pleasure is worth more than a lifetime, especially with someone as captivating as you,” Liu Hun said, his hand wrapping more firmly around Sister Hua’s waist and gradually moving lower.
