...

"Emperor of the North once said that the Innate Jianmu grows between Black Water and Qingshui. But the waters of the southwest East Sea are so vast, how will I ever find it! Ah, what should I do?" The Old Dragon King leisurely floated above the East Sea, searching for the location of the Jianmu.

Just as Aoguang furrowed his brows and moved toward the southwestern waters, he suddenly felt his mind go blank, and then the scenery before him changed, mysteriously arriving at a peculiar place.

An abrupt change occurred, and Aoguang almost instantly reacted. He summoned the Dragon Clan’s Supreme Treasure, the Dragon Ball, to protect his body before carefully looking around.

After observing for a while, he saw only a gray, foggy expanse; no sky above, no earth below, his feet atop a dark pool of clear spring.

Aoguang frowned and searched around, but still found nothing. He stood in place for a long time, thinking a lot, and finally chose to continue forward.

After all, although this place was strange, it might just be the growing place of the Innate Jianmu. Since he didn’t know how to leave this place anyway, why not explore a bit?

After walking about thirty li, the black clear spring under his feet gradually mixed with a hint of green. Aoguang tried retracting the Primordial Energy from his left foot and stepped down. To his surprise, he didn’t sink but felt as if he were stepping on solid ground. At the same time, a chilling cold surged up from his heart, causing Gao Guang to shiver intensely.

At first, Aoguang didn’t care, but after walking out a hundred zhang, he felt the clear spring under his feet becoming icier, its unlimited yin sha energy, strikingly similar to the Northern Abyss of the Extreme North.

Later, not only was the clear spring underfoot hard as rock, but it had also completely turned green. This place was like an ice cellar, and the chilly Spiritual Energy, sharp as knives, scraped coldly against his skin.

"This place is very strange. It was warm like spring and summer before, but now it’s cold like autumn and winter. Plus the Black Water when I first entered... Could this be the birthplace of the Innate Jianmu?" Aoguang’s thoughts were numerous as he let the cold wind strike him.

Yellowish light poured from the Dragon Ball, firmly protecting him. No matter how rampant the wind was, it couldn’t break through the defense of the Dragon Ball.

Aoguang became highly vigilant. He didn’t want to mysteriously lose his life between the Qingshui before even seeing the legendary Innate Jianmu.

"Huh!"

As the eerie cold wind grew stronger, strips of blue phantoms started appearing in the space.

"Hmm? What is that?" Aoguang looked at the phantoms with a somewhat surprised and uncertain expression, unaware that the space behind them suddenly fluctuated irregularly.

It turned out that Li Qingming had calculated that something unexpected would happen to Aoguang on this trip, so he had hidden his form and followed quietly.

Just then, when Li Qingming saw those shadowy blue figures, he was suddenly shocked.

Those little blue beings looked exactly like the Magic Elves often depicted in future novels. They had bodies of blue yet nearly translucent, a pair of shiny black eyes steaming with a watery aura, wings as thin as cicada wings on their backs, exuding a glowing luster. Although their bodies were only the size of a palm, each possessed the Cultivation of Heavenly Immortal Realm.

The cold wind howled, and fist-sized Wind Elves joyfully floated through the space.

"In this Huaxia Land, are there really such things?" Li Qingming was greatly surprised in his heart.

But Aoguang was completely stupified. Having lived in Huaxia Land for countless years, he was an old Demon and, by all accounts, there should be little in this world he didn’t know. Yet the appearance of these tiny elves today had entirely exceeded his understanding.

He conjured the Blood Transformation Divine Saber given by Li Qingming, moving forward resolutely. He seemed to firmly believe that this longsword, about three feet long and blood-colored, just as Li Qingming said, possessed unpredictable supernatural abilities.

One Wind Elf after another passed in front of Aoguang, as if his presence did not affect their free soaring.

The layers of yin sha wind they stirred up emitted faint blue ripples, directly piercing through the protection of the Dragon Ball, scraping painfully across Aoguang’s face.

"Damn it!" Aoguang cursed softly, his body surging with Dragon Qi, he stretched out one arm, sweeping with the Blood Transformation Divine Saber.

"Boom!"

Towering Blood Radiance soared into the sky, the extremely cold air devouring the air around hundreds of zhang. Amid the sky-filled Blood Radiance seemed to roar Barbaric Beasts; the unmatched force instantly swept the space clean in front.

"Squeak squeak..."

The Little Elves screamed frantically, fluttering their tiny wings in panic, flying far away over hundreds of li.

Li Qingming grinned and said, "I didn’t expect this old guy to be so decisive in killing, not sparing even these tiny beings!"

Aoguang sheathed his longsword and closely pursued the forms of the Little Elves. Instinct told him that by following these little ones, he could definitely find the Innate Jianmu.

After moving forward several li, a brightly lit world emerged before Aoguang. This world was no longer gray; gentle light flowed, and rich forces of earth, water, fire, and wind appeared ahead.

"What, what kind of energy is this?" Although it was bright ahead, the scattered energy had turned into clusters of colorful mist, obscuring his vision.

"Holy cow, can it get any crazier? This world is just too insane!" Li Qingming watched stupefied; the mist was so dense, without any Presence of Laws, it was clearly the most pure Magic Elements.

Magic elements fluttered, radiant light filled the air, and delicate, exquisite elves darted past Aoguang, seemingly oblivious to his presence, as they freely soared in this small world.

"This, this is just too bizarre!" Li Qingming was quite astonished.

"Ow..."

Suddenly, a fierce roar erupted from a distant world. The entire land quaked as if struck by an earthquake, shaking violently.

Countless rocks on the surrounding mountains cascaded down as the ground shook, while the little elves flapped their wings in frantic panic, their large eyes filled with confusion and bewilderment.

"What is this thing now?" Aoguang observed the massive creature charging forward, his pupils suddenly constricted, shooting out an inch-long brilliant light.

A bizarre-looking giant beast, under the command of those little elves, swayed its large tail and flapped a pair of wrinkled, fleshy wings, crawling its way from a distance, its huge body extremely ponderous.

"Dragon head but no whiskers, no horns on top, with fleshy wings on the ribs, its body bloated like a lizard! Isn’t this just like the giant dragons from Western legends?" Li Qingming’s mouth hung open in shock, feeling completely out of touch with the whole Divine Continent.

"Squeak!" The little elf stood on top of the giant dragon, chattering about something in their gibberish.

The giant dragon continuously twisted its head, occasionally glancing in Aoguang’s direction with a menacing grin.

It was unclear what exactly they communicated, but moments later, the little elves glanced triumphantly at Aoguang. The giant dragons then emitted a tremendous Dragon Power, instantly pressing down on Aoguang.

"Such ugly creatures possessing Dragon Power! Truly laughable, laughable indeed!" Aoguang felt the slight Dragon Power emanating from the ugly fierce beasts and couldn’t help but laugh in anger, pointing forward with his longsword, "Beasts, you should not exist in this realm, let me send you to hell!"

"Roar!"

As if understanding Aoguang’s words, the leading giant dragon roared loudly. Swinging its mountain-sized giant paw, it abruptly pressed down towards Aoguang.

"Boom!"

The giant paw covered the heavens, and endless yellow Earth Element madly infused into the giant dragon’s paw. The paw slammed down powerfully, the formidable force shook the Void, causing it to tremble.

"Petty tricks!" Aoguang sneered disdainfully, directly blocking with his Blood Transformation Divine Saber.

"Buzz!" A gentle hum, the Blood Radiance rose against the sky. The giant paw was flung away, and the enormous body was also sent flying sideways.

The remaining giant dragons, seeing this, revealed fierce light in their large eyes. Swinging their hefty bodies, they spat out jets of Dragon Stream.

For a moment, vivid red Fire Element, dazzling blue Water Element, bright golden Gold Element... Numerous brilliant colors combined like a seven-colored waterfall, directly striking at Aoguang.

Though these giant dragons only had the early-stage cultivation of a Profound Immortal, the power of the magic elements in this world made their combined magical assault exponentially more potent, far greater than simply adding the forces together.

"Boom!"

The mixed seven-colored waterfall surged out like a vast ocean, suddenly sweeping towards Aoguang.

Aoguang’s Dragon Robe billowed, his disheveled hair flying. The corner of his mouth curled into a disdainful cold smile. With a flick of the long sword in his hand, he gently lifted upwards. The entire space was instantly split in two, a terrifying spatial rift directly cutting off the heavens!

Seeing Aoguang’s move, Li Qingming, hiding in the shadows, nodded silently, "Although the Old Dragon King’s cultivation hasn’t progressed further over the years, his mastery of the Space Law is second only to Fengdu. Not bad, not bad!"

"Boom!"

The seven-colored Magic Waterfall was now utterly turbulent, like a boundless Thunder Sea, splitting mountains and shattering rocks!

Before the Magic Waterfall could get close to Aoguang, it had all cast into the fractured Void in front of Aoguang, plunging into an endless abyss, vanishing in a moment.

"Ow!" The Dragon Gate was infuriated. Their normally foolproof killing move was useless here. With their simple-minded brains, they couldn’t comprehend the strength of the person before them.

"Truly a bunch of beasts that won’t shed tears until they see the coffin!" Aoguang chuckled lightly, his golden Dragon Qi soaring into the sky, his Blood Transformation Divine Saber changing color in an instant.

"Buzz!"

A blood-red Sword Radiance traversed the sky, the overwhelming Evil Qi, centered around Aoguang, wildly rampaged. Within the sky filled with blood-red, endless corpses and seas of blood flashed, strong blood scent spreading with the descent of the Sword Radiance.

"Blood-Colored Sky Falls through Nine Heavens!" Aoguang bellowed, his longsword chopping down, the Sword Radiance touching ground.

The surging murderous intent enveloped all the ignorantly brave giant dragons, they struggled violently, howling, yet still unable to stop the descent of the Sword Radiance.

"Crash!!"

Suddenly, a meteor-like brilliant light streaked across the sky, from afar to near, directly shooting an arrow towards the Sword Radiance.

Arrow fell, Sword Radiance dispersed!(To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to vote for recommendation and monthly ticket at Qidian [qidian.com]. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users please read at m.qidian.com.)
