The First Demon of the Chan Sect
Chapter 341 - 30: West Niu Hezhou, Li Qianqiu

Chapter 341: Chapter 30: West Niu Hezhou, Li Qianqiu

In the boundless Chaos Outer Heaven Nuwa Palace, the breathtakingly beautiful Lady Nuwa silently watched the water screen before her, as a single tear rolled down her alluring cheek.

For a long time, she uttered a near-whispering sigh, "Alas! Once returned to the origin, no longer considered a demon! My dear brother, is what your little sister has done right or wrong?"

...

"Boom!"

Emperor Fuxi ascended the throne, offering sacrifices to Heaven and Earth. The Heavenly Dao felt this and naturally bestowed endless auspicious energies.

In an instant, the sky underwent massive changes. Gigantic dragons danced, colorful phoenixes soared into the sky. Countless beams of golden light descended from above, and all the Humans within Chen Capital felt a jolt in their spirits, their long-standing burdens lifted. They were filled with vitality and life.

Looking up at the stage, it was enveloped in golden light. In a moment, the animal hide robe on Fuxi transformed into a magnificent brocade, and an overwhelming imperial aura burst forth from him. The golden brocade robe adorned with nine five-clawed golden dragons appeared as if they were writhing and roaring, and the lifelike figures cast infinite golden light, illuminating the entire heavens!

After a while, the anomaly dissipated. With robes fluttering, Fuxi stepped down from the high platform.

All Saints approached in turn to offer gifts.

The Three Pure Ones gave a gourd containing Eight-Transformation Golden Pills, a dark, awe-inspiring turtle shell, and an Array Diagram rich in killing aura.

The Western Teachings had also spared no expense this time, actually bestowing six Buddha’s Relics of Daluo True Immortals.

You have to know, although there are many Buddha’s sons, very few have reached the Daluo Realm. Each one is the treasure of the Western Teachings. After the Buddha’s sons reach nirvana, relics are left behind. These six relics of Daluo True Immortals are indeed precious treasures.

Just then, colorful clouds continuously floated down from the sky, and through the thick layers of clouds, an ancient yet loud voice transmitted, "Decree from the Jade Emperor, Emperor Fuxi has diligently served the Human Clan for many years, his contributions foundational, on this day of consecrating Heaven and Earth, His Majesty shall ascend as Human Emperor, and I hereby congratulate him!"

Fuxi nodded slightly in acknowledgment and said, "Many thanks to Hao Tian Heavenly Venerate!"

Instantly, as if Heavenly Girls were scattering flowers, spirit fruits and treasures fell from the sky. Following the spirit fruits came the Beidou Star Lord wearing a flamboyant red Daoist robe.

The Beidou Star Lord carefully held a tray in his hands and came up to Fuxi, bowing and saying, "Your humble servant Beidou Star Lord. Emperor Jade heard that Your Majesty Fuxi is adept at divining heavenly patterns and the disposition of celestial stars, and has specially selected from the treasure vault the Spiritual Treasure ’Cycle Stars Plate.’ This item, as legend has it, originally belonged to Your Majesty Fuxi, has now been sent by me to return to its rightful owner. Please accept it, Emperor Fuxi!"

Fuxi, looking at the Cycle Stars Plate, a trace of nostalgia flashing in his eyes, received it and said, "Great Venerable has truly been considerate! Please convey my message to him, Fuxi is grateful for the generous gift!"

The Star Lord Beidou’s grin spread wide as a blooming chrysanthemum, repeatedly nodding his head.

Then, auspicious clouds rose again in the sky, and on top of the golden Qingyun, was Lady Nuwa’s maid, Jinfeng.

Jinfeng descended from the auspicious clouds, bowed to Fuxi, and said, "Feng’er greets Emperor Fuxi. I am here on command of the Lady to congratulate the Emperor on his ascension!"

Fuxi’s expression changed slightly, then he sighed and said, "Thank you for your trouble, young lady!"

Just then, countless blood clouds drifted across the sky, and Indra, clad in a blood-colored Daoist robe, rode an auspicious cloud in.

"By the Netherworld Divine Venerable’s order, I present a congratulatory gift!" Indra said coldly, waving his hand, and an Eleventh Grade Karma Fire Red Lotus emanating endless Blood Radiance descended from the sky, directly falling into Fuxi’s hands.

Fuxi, stunned, looked at the palm-sized Karma Fire Red Lotus in his hand, never expecting the Netherworld God to send such a generous gift. Could it be that he had ulterior motives? But since the gift was already received, it would be somewhat petty to suspect the noble intentions of a gentleman with the heart of a petty man.

Indra looked coldly at Fuxi and said, "Fuxi, though you are Human Emperor, if you dare mistreat my sister, I will not spare you!" With these words, he turned and left.

Fuxi was even more stunned: "What’s going on here? When have I ever been involved with your sister?"

He turned to look at Hua Ling, his wife standing to the side, only to see her perpetually youthful face blushing. He suddenly understood.

It turns out his wife is the daughter of the Netherworld Divine Venerable, no wonder he sent such a Spiritual Treasure! What a calculation by the Netherworld God!

In the grand and luxurious Blood-colored Palace within the Netherworld Blood Sea, Li Qingming sat opposite the Netherworld River.

"Are you really not going?" Li Qingming looked at the Netherworld River, smiling brightly.

Netherworld River waved his hand in resignation and said, "What’s the use of going? Let Tian bring a congratulatory gift and that’s all!"

"The Iron Fan can be considered your eldest legitimate daughter, aren’t you, as her father, curious to see her married off?" Li Qingming joked with a taunting smile.

"Even if we recognize each other, no longer having the identity of an Asura, why bother?" Netherworld River shook his head, then suddenly raised his eyes and asked, "Daoist Brother, has Clearspring Brother reincarnated yet?"

Li Qingming nodded faintly, his gaze piercing through billions of layers of space, heading straight for West Niu Hezhou.

...

After the ascension ceremony concluded and the guests from all directions bid farewell and departed, Fu Xi began his grand governance over the world.

Fu Xi’s ascension marked the first time a sovereign from the Human Clan had ever come to power. Because the land of Huaxia Divine Land was so vast, he established inspectors in all four corners to survey the divine continent in his stead, to oversee local governance and discern the good from evil; he appointed many officials to assist in managing the world.

He then created a calendar, known as the Fu Xi Calendar, to record years, months, and days and effectuate the changing of the four seasons, allowing people to understand the progression of time and the alternation of spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

It was now the thirty-ninth year of the Fu Xi Calendar. At the foot of a small hill resembling a reclining ox in the eastern outskirts of West Niu Hezhou, there lay a tiny village. The villagers lived busy yet content lives every day.

However, the birth of a child ten years ago completely changed this way of life.

At the East End of the village, a couple with the surname Li lived. They toiled from sunrise to sunset, leading a life that was merely enough for sustenance but nevertheless happy. The only flaw was their lack of children.

The couple often lamented on the unpredictability of life and had once prayed to live twenty years less in exchange for a son. Eventually, fifteen years ago, their wish was granted, and the woman became pregnant.

But this pregnancy lasted three years. At first, the elders in the village suspected that the child in Mrs. Li’s belly was a demon and demanded that she forcefully abort it. Yet, when they learned about Emperor Fuxi’s affairs, they were terrified of alarming the Great Sage. They all went to the Li family’s doorstep to kowtow and admit their mistakes.

Another two years passed, and Mrs. Li finally gave birth to a child. They named him Li Qianqiu.

Li Qianqiu could speak at birth, walk the moment he touched the ground, and possessed a natural affability. Everyone in the village liked this child, whether adults or children. What was most surprising was that since his birth, Li Qianqiu had never eaten any food or drunk a single drop of water, yet he remained lively and energetic.

But there are no perfect things in the world. The year after Li Qianqiu was born, his parents died of unknown causes.

Afterward, anyone who had contact with Li Qianqiu would mysteriously die within months or even days. This frightened the remaining villagers.

No one dared to contact Li Qianqiu anymore, treating him with a very disgusted gaze even from afar. Eventually, they all moved away from the village.

At the age of ten, Li Qianqiu became silent and reticent. He hated the world, the village, and everyone in it. He felt that they abandoned him and the village. Suddenly, he discovered how lonely and helpless he was.

One day, a sturdy old man with silver hair arrived at this village that had been quiet for years.

"Thump, thump!" The old man walked to the door of Li Qianqiu’s home, knocked twice, and waited. Seeing no response, he frowned slightly and said, "Is anyone there? I have been traveling overnight and haven’t eaten for two days and nights. I implore the homeowner to open the door and offer some sustenance!"

Li Qianqiu stared at the wooden door and said coldly, "Get lost!"

"Hmm?" The old man heard this childish voice, frowned, and pushed the door open, saying, "At such a young age, where does all this anger come from!"

Li Qianqiu coldly watched the old man, his unforgiving gaze tinged with a trace of resentment, much like the Eye of Divine Punishment.

The old man looked at Li Qianqiu sternly and asked, "Child, where are your father and mother?"

"They’re all dead!" Li Qianqiu said coldly.

Cold, very cold! That was the feeling Li Qianqiu gave to the old man.

With a sigh, the old man’s eyes flashed with a barely perceptible pain and he said, "Child, night has fallen, and I’d like to sleep here. You won’t mind, will you?"

"If you’re not afraid of death, then stay!" Li Qianqiu left the statement hanging and turned to enter the inner room.

The night was deep.

The old man didn’t sleep but kept his eyes on Li Qianqiu through the wall, muttering to himself, "Xiao Er, in this life you are fated to be the lone star of Heavenly Calamity! Only by experiencing the warmth and coldness of the world can you ascend to the path of sainthood! But your temperament is a bit too extreme. Well, I will leave you with something in your mind, hoping you will awaken in time!"

Suddenly, the old man’s body erupted with Infinite Immortal Light and then, with a flash, he disappeared from the room.

Li Qianqiu slept soundly that night, dreaming. In his dream, he saw immortals flying through the sky and earth, countless Spiritual Treasures, and endless Immortal Light.

The next morning, he discovered an unknown Cultivation Technique had appeared in his mind, and two completely different forces began to flow within him, coursing through his Hand Taiyin and Hand Taiyang.

Whatever was touched by his left hand would be immediately enveloped in a wisp of black mist and turn to ashes. Anything his right hand touched would instantly burst forth with vigorous vitality.

This made him very excited. He gazed toward the distant mountains, his eyes shimmering with an inexplicable luster! (To be continued.
