Chapter 865 - 865: Domain Immortal - 865

On the surface, the River of Cultivation looked the same as before. Domineering and almighty. However, it had greatly changed. Tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of different powers, all created by Path Creators, one in a nonillion year geniuses, were washed into it. Even if some were lackluster, the majority were extremely powerful.

While his severing had surely injured all of them and probably regressed their levels or realms, that was a loss they would have to suffer. Merely taking the normal power they created was nothing. He had to take a piece of them, a part of their origin, for it to have a substantial effect.

Naturally, he was not simply relying on others to strengthen his power. He had also changed the River of Cultivation himself over the past hundreds of thousands of Sage Years. His contribution was just as great, if not greater, than the contributions of the Path Creators.

Although even with this, his Power of Cultivation was inferior in terms of pure strength to Leaf's, he would continue to strengthen it as he cultivated. Eventually, it would be just as strong as Leaf's power, and eventually surpass it.

But that was quite far away, as the main purpose of the Power of Cultivation was simply for him to grow, while Leaf's acted as both a source of life and a tool of pure power.

Despite everything recently accomplished, Zhou Fan's life soon fell back into normalcy. He began to cultivate as always.

He sat against Leaf, who grew to the size of a normal tree. He could control his size, but usually stayed in his small form that could wrap around Zhou Fan.

Zhou Fan's cultivation progressed. He did not go to the new Universes for a while. There was no point. Even if something happened, both he and Leaf would be able to tell.

After a few million Sage Years, Zhou Fan felt that it was time to break through.

He did not waste any time, instantly accomplishing it.

He had already thought about how he wanted to design this realm.

It would be known as the Domain Immortal realm.

Like the Outer World realm, one could expand something from their body, but unlike the Outer World realm, it was at an entirely different level.

That was because the Domain was based on the Rules comprehended.

Before expanding his Domain for the first time, he spent a while mastering the Rule of Suppression. Might as well shoot for perfection first try.

On his forehead, the four circles merged into one circle of four sections. One of the sections was smaller, making the circle noticeably imperfect, but that would be fixed upon mastery of the Rule.

It didn't take him long to achieve mastery, and leaving everyone else behind, he left. He entered the nothingness. His entire being had long become integrated with Chaos Qi, and he could now act as though the nothingness did not exist. Not just his body, but even techniques and Qi he created could be displayed within the nothingness. This had taken a while to achieve, but he had done it.

That meant that within the nothingness, he could display the full power of his Immortal Domain without harming anyone or destroying anything.

He took a deep breath, and the circle on his forehead disappeared.

The nothingness around him changed.

Grass expanded as countless trees grew, forming a forest. Chaos filled the air, bringing both a sense of destruction and infinite creation. While any being that touched Chaos Qi below a certain cultivation level would be destroyed, Zhou Fan had long split Chaos, showing that it was not just destruction, but could be everything as well. Chaos was the amalgamation of everything, or rather, where existence itself came from.

Only a gray mist represented the Rule of Chaos, but the pure power it brought was even more devastating than the Rule of Growth.

Next, the Rule of Origin took form. Everything had an origin. The origin of Cultivation was Zhou Fan, the origin of Zhou Fan, his parents, the origin of his parents, their parents, and so on, and the origin of humans was the Mother of Humanity. The origin of the Mother of Humanity was the Universe itself, and the origin of the Universe was Chaos.

In a way, this Rule shared a deep connection with the Rule of Chaos. But its form was far more noticeable.

Countless blurry figures appeared among the grass and trees. Some were human, some beast, some objects, and one noticeable figure gave off the aura of Zhou Fan. Each of these figures gave off a sense of ancientness. Each one represented a being or thing that could be considered a lofty origin.

Next, a hand appeared at the top of this newly formed domain, pressing down upon everything. The Rule of Suppression showed itself much in the same way as Zhou Fan's Outer World, but instead of a statue, it was just a hand.

While the Immortal Domain seemed peaceful, that was only because Zhou Fan was the only being inside of it. Were another person in it, they would die in mere moments without Zhou Fan having to lift so much as a single finger.

This was the realm before the Immortal Emperor realm.

Zhou Fan had seen such things among the cultivators from the future, and they had been a bit powerful, but he had believed these to be simple Outer Worlds.

After all, they were far too weak.

As he had noted before, the beings from the future followed a flawed path of Cultivation. The Celestial Emperors had, at most, Mastered one Rule. But a true Immortal Domain could only be formed with four or more Rules. Otherwise, it was so weak that Zhou Fan could mistake it as an Outer World.

Those Celestial Emperors had truly been pathetic. Zhou Fan could imagine why they had followed a flawed path even without using Divination. It surely had to do with his sealing.

Luckily, as he had sensed on the Temple Master of the future, the truly powerful beings still followed the right path of Cultivation.
