Chapter 317: Chapter 317: Dabai Injured (Part 3)_1
By the time they reached the slope of the hill, Yang Ruxin still unconsciously looked around. Xiaolun was waiting for her here last time, but to her disappointment, she didn’t see Xiaolun.
Just as she was about to leave, she suddenly heard rustling noises nearby. Her eyes lit up, but before she could turn around, a streak of green light shot toward her. Instinctively raising her hand, the green light wound itself around her wrist.
"Where have you been messing around?" Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but laugh as she looked at the "green bracelet" on her wrist, "I’ve been looking for you for quite a while."
Xiaolun just flicked its tongue out.
It was then that Yang Ruxin noticed that the little creature seemed to have wounds on its body, which made her frown, "Did you get into a fight?"
Xiaolun shook its head.
"Did you win or lose?"
Xiaolun shook its head proudly.
"Show-off," Yang Ruxin tapped the silver spot on Xiaolun’s forehead, glad to know it had won. She suddenly remembered something, "Right, have you seen Dabai and the others? I couldn’t find them either."
Xiaolun quickly slithered down from her wrist and settled in the grass, shaking its head and flicking its tongue at Yang Ruxin.
"Is something wrong? Did something happen to Dabai and Xiaobai?" Yang Ruxin frowned, not hesitating for a moment to follow Xiaolun into the depths of the nearby forest, which was connected to Xiaocang Mountain. Her heart had already risen with concern. Although they weren’t human, Dabai and its child had been incredibly kind to her. If something had happened to them... She suddenly didn’t dare to think further.
Yang Ruxin followed Xiaolun in a hurry into the forest, and after about fifteen minutes, she saw a large white figure lying under a tree, with a little one beside it.
The air was thick with the heavy scent of blood.
Yang Ruxin was startled and rushed over, "Dabai, Xiaobai, are you injured?"
Xiaobai whimpered at her.
Xiaobai was even limping as it came over to rub against her leg.
Yang Ruxin stroked the little one’s head, noticing its two paws were injured. She quickly took out some ointment to apply to the wounds, then wrapped them with bandages she had taken from her space. After attending to Xiaobai, she began to check Dabai.
The bandages were made from white cotton cloth she had bought, boiled, and then soaked in white alcohol, dried, and ready to be used as medical gauze.
Dabai’s originally snow-white fur was now dirty, splattered with blood. In places, the fur had been torn off, and on its belly was a bloody hole. It wasn’t big, but it was still oozing blood continuously.
Yang Ruxin did not dare waste time and focused her thoughts to check Dabai’s wounds, finding that the internal organs had not been damaged. She breathed a sigh of relief, touched Dabai, "It’s okay, you won’t die." Then she started to dress the wound.
Dabai cooperated and laid on the ground, allowing Yang Ruxin to wrap it up like a zongzi.
Just as she had stopped the bleeding and finished bandaging the wound on its belly, Dabai suddenly forced itself to stand up. It turned its head towards the deeper part of the forest, baring its sharp teeth and growling low in its throat like thunder, ready to attack. Xiaobai and Xiaolun also assumed attacking postures.
From the depths of the forest, there was a breeze, accompanied by a roaring sound.
Yang Ruxin’s brow furrowed, it seemed their enemy had caught up to them, and judging by the sound, it was likely another tiger.
