But as she arrived at the edge of the village, she saw several small figures from afar.

"Big sister..." Sini and Xiaobao ran towards her as fast as their legs would carry them.

"Why have you run out here?" Yang Ruxin took one little girl by the hand and looked up at Zhou Xiao and Sanni.

"Sini is cooking, and everyone was worried about you, so we came out to check on you," Zhou Xiao said with a smile, offering to help Yang Ruxin with her basket.

"No need, let’s hurry back, I brought some little friends home," Yang Ruxin shook her head, and then led the little ones back home to the courtyard.

When everyone saw the two little bunnies, they all cheered and then busied themselves with building a bunny hutch.

Meanwhile, the Yang Family’s old house was in stark contrast with the lively warmth of the small courtyard, filled with a heavy gloom.

After Yang Anshi was carried back, Yang Peili didn’t even seek a doctor, but woke her himself by pressing acupoints. However, after waking, her gaze was vacant, without the scolding that was expected, probably from being terribly frightened.
