When Du Juan woke up, she found that it was already daylight outside and she was lying on a kang, her outer clothing removed. What was key was that her wound had been treated. She hurriedly sat up with a jolt, touching her chest and back to confirm they had not been tampered with, and then finally let out a sigh of relief.

"You’re awake?" At that moment, Xiaoyun walked in. "Are you hungry? Have something to eat."
