Chapter 993: Chapter 993: It Flew Away, Have We Been Busy for Nothing?
The arm lightly twisted in the air, as if stretching a body long sealed with dust.
These simple movements were so graceful that one couldn’t help but overlook the fact that it was merely an arm and exhale an admiration of "how beautiful."
Its owner must have been an extraordinarily beautiful woman of unparalleled grace.
Carson Flores dared not make a sound, concealed within the crowd, faintly aware that he was the very culprit who unleashed this calamitous hand.
Low profile!
Don’t stick your head out!
Otherwise, whether it be these powerhouses or the Immortals that come to investigate culpability, if it’s traced back to him, he would be in deep trouble.
The hand moved leisurely for a while and then drifted off the altar, seemingly familiar with the path it took towards the cave entrance.
It wanted to fly away from here!
Utterly preposterous!
A hand preparing to fly off on its own—was this some kind of detached journey?
Where did it want to go?
A moment ago, with a mere effortless strike, it dissipated the attack of one of the Tribulation Stage Experts, a sight that stunned everyone to the degree that no one dared to make a move against it.
Who would have thought that the Immortal’s Arm they had been fighting over was actually alive!
Seeing the arm fly toward the cave entrance, the three Tribulation Stage Experts could no longer hold back.
They staked their lives, having already broken through to the Transcendance Tribulation Stage, betting the last three months of their lives in the hope of finding a way to prolong them from the Immortal’s Arm.
If it flew away, what would become of them?
Wait for death three months later?
The three elderly Transcendance Tribulators exchanged glances, and the one in the middle said in a deep voice, "Join forces, and study it together!"
The other two nodded in agreement with the proposal, given the bizarre circumstances.
Without joining forces, there was simply no chance at all.
All three simultaneously took to the air, chasing after the arm, their hands reaching out in layers, seemingly intent on trapping the arm together.
This time, however, the hand didn’t move; instead, it allowed the three large hands to grasp it.
Just as the trio felt a surge of joy, the three Spiritual Hands enveloping the arm crumbled into nothingness without a sound, just like before.
The pale fingers curled up and softly snapped.
The three Tribulation Stage Experts that lunged forward were struck as if by lightning, their bodies spraying blood as they were blown backward, crashing heavily to the ground.
This sight shocked everyone present.
So strong!
These were Tribulation Stage Experts, virtually invincible in the Barbaric Wilderness Realm, yet a mere snap from the hand injured all three to the point of spitting blood!
It was just a hand!
If merely a hand was this formidable, how powerful must its owner be!
Suddenly, the people started to understand the Immortal who had suppressed the hand; perhaps, due to its overwhelming strength, being unable to destroy it, the Immortal had separated and suppressed her body to weaken her power.
Carson Flores was also deeply shaken.
This was way too potent.
What exactly had he unleashed? He did not know whether it was a blessing or a curse.
Seeing that the hand did not continue to attack the three injured experts and had no intention of assaulting anyone else, Carson finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Luckily!
If this arm had started a massacre, he would have committed a terrible misdeed today.
The arm floated in the air, then suddenly the fingers stood up, snapping crisply once more.
Everyone startled, thinking it was launching an attack, but nothing happened.
The crowd watched the hand with reverence, and for a moment, no one dared approach it.
Even when three Tribulation Stage Experts joined forces and were quickly wounded, who could be its match?
Carson, hidden in the crowd, suddenly had a strange feeling, as if, despite the hand having made no special movements and lacking eyes, he was being watched by it.
Could it be?
Did it recognize him as the disruptor of the Formation?
Carson kept his head down, not daring to gaze at the arm.
After hanging silently in the air for a few seconds, the arm moved once more toward the outside of the cave.
This time, no one dared to intervene.
In the blink of an eye, the arm vanished from everyone’s view.
Only then did people heave a long sigh of relief; the ordeal was terrifying.
An Immortal’s Arm, sealed up, possessed its own will, had the capability to fight, and had even flown away!
"The Immortal’s Arm has flown away; does that mean all the sacrifices we’ve made were for nothing?"
"Who knew it could still move, and be so formidable at that? With it flying away, who could stop it!"
"Where do you think it’s flying to? It wouldn’t be going to search for its other sealed body parts, would it?"
The crowd was abuzz with speculation.
With the Immortal’s Arm gone, the venture into the Valley of Death was brought to a conclusive end.
After searching the cave with no further discoveries, everyone withdrew, returning to the exterior of the Crimson Peak.
The tide-like demonic beasts had scattered, and the formerly restless spirits had strangely quieted down, as if something invisible suppressed them, preventing further attacks on the people.
"Let’s check the Sky-reaching Formation to see if there are any gains."
