Chapter 906: Chapter 906: Flash Bang? That’s Not Martial Ethics!

Bryant James plunged into the white mist, flying straight towards the giant cave, his movements light and decisive, showing no hesitation.

Carson Flores and the others followed behind, and upon seeing this, they couldn’t help but admire him in their hearts.

This guy might have a lousy character, but he sure is skilled and bold!

The giant cave arrived in a blink, and in front of it lay a pile of Demonic Beasts, squatting or standing; their size alone indicated they were all Fierce Beasts!

As Bryant James approached the cave, the Fierce Beasts immediately took notice of him, their heads turning in unison, pairs of fierce eyes, glinting with malice, fixated on Bryant James.

The squatting Fierce Beasts rose to their feet, ready to attack.

Bryant James charged straight at them, cleanly throwing out a stack of Talismans.

The Talismans exploded, instantly turning into an incredibly intense white light, like a small sun had suddenly appeared in the canyon, dazzling so brightly it was impossible to look directly at it.

Damn, this guy’s actually throwing flashbangs!

No sense of honor in combat!

Carson Flores cursed inwardly, instinctively ducking and closing his eyes, yet the world still turned to a blinding white for a moment.

When Carson Flores looked up again, his heart skipped a beat as Bryant James’s figure had vanished into the mist!

Bryant James certainly hadn’t disappeared into thin air; Carson Flores was sure he was somewhere in the mist, likely using a magical treasure similar to the Cicada’s Mantle, concealing his breath while achieving the effect of invisibility.

Carson Flores finally realized why this guy had come to provoke them, as he was looking for scapegoats.

He had provoked the Fierce Beasts first and then hid himself during the moment of blinding flash, leaving Carson Flores and the others exposed to the Beasts’ attention once their vision returned and Bryant James was nowhere to be seen.

As long as these Fierce Beasts attacked Carson and his group, even if for a mere moment, Bryant James would be able to enter the cave without trouble.

The method was simple but highly effective. Of course, it required having a magical treasure capable of invisibility and concealing all traces of one’s aura. Otherwise, playing such a trick in front of so many Fierce Beasts was tantamount to suicide.

The Fierce Beasts had already leaped into the air, pouncing towards Carson Flores and his companions.

Kash Lam cursed, "Damn it, diverting disaster from himself. It was obvious he had ulterior motives!"

Without looking back, Carson Flores threw out the Windroll Banner and shouted softly, "Nobody move!"

The Windroll Banner unfurled with a swish, enveloping Kash Lam and the others within it.

The moment they vanished, Carson Flores grabbed the Windroll Banner and turned to fly away rapidly.

The Fierce Beasts chased after Carson Flores, and at the same time, many Cultivator and Demon Race teams burst out of the mist, heading straight for the cave’s entrance.

Carson Flores abruptly stopped flying, spun around and delivered a kick; in an instant, he vanished, causing the myriad of attacks from the Fierce Beasts to miss him completely.

When Carson Flores reappeared, he was already at the entrance of the cave, arriving before the Cultivator and Demon Race teams and leaving them behind.

Realizing they had been tricked, the Fierce Beasts went into a frenzy, turning around and pouncing on the teams.

These people had clearly seen Carson Flores’s team lure away the Beasts, and none expected Carson to merely feint, and after a quick turnabout, he Teleported to the entrance of the cave, drawing the Beasts back towards them, inadvertently becoming the ones to cover for Carson.

Roars of the Beasts and screams intermingled in an instant.

Carson Flores couldn’t care less and turned to dash into the cave. After only a few steps, he spotted a familiar figure ahead.

Bryant James!

As expected, this guy had turned invisible and slipped inside.

Upon hearing footsteps from behind, Bryant James turned his head and his expression shifted slightly.

This kid really is like a bad penny!

Bryant James didn’t concern himself with Carson Flores, and kept flying forward. Now inside, he had to struggle to be the first to reach the destination.

Opportunity waits for no one!

After turning a bend, Carson Flores’s eyes lit up; before him was a huge cavernous space filled with boundless flames.

A sea of fire!

These flames didn’t appear to be ordinary; it was as if the very space was burning, twisting in the intense heat.

The temperature was extremely high!

To pass through the passage, one had to cross the sea of fire!

Bryant James glanced at Carson Flores not far away, and scoffed, "Go ahead."

Carson Flores gave a cold smile, "You first."

Bryant James pulled out a fiery red cloak and casually draped it over himself, "I have a Fire-avoidance Robe, feel stupid?"

Carson Flores smiled coldly, remaining silent.

Bryant James stepped directly into the flames, which were repelled by an invisible force as they neared his body.

Bryant James’s figure disappeared into the fiery passage, while Carson Flores pulled out the Water-Fire Mirror.

As the spell fell, a red glow enveloped him; an expansive area’s worth of flames were instantly sucked into the Water-Fire Mirror. With a reverse motion, he used the Water Mirror to unleash an Ice Storm, instantly creating a long passageway.

Carson Flores flew through the passage, operating the Fire Mirror and Water Mirror alternately.

The Fire Mirror absorbed the flames, while the Water Mirror released the Ice Storm to cool the temperatures.

Thus Carson Flores casually strolled through the fiery passage, and before long, passed through the Flame Cave to continue forward.

He hadn’t gone far when the air suddenly turned bitterly cold, breath condensing into fog in an instant.

After turning a corner, Carson Flores saw Bryant James again, and in front of him, a passageway shrouded in white mist, its walls thick with ice.

After the Flame Cave comes an Ice Cave?

How fascinating.

Carson Flores, seeing Bryant James frowning and not advancing, said with a smile, "Got any cold-proof clothing?"
