Chapter 902: Chapter 902: Dragon’s Roar
Great Secret Technique Ground Shrinking Technique!
The gazes of twelve people simultaneously focused intently on Carson Flores, expressions of shock on their faces.
Terry’s expression turned to realization, no wonder a moment ago when Carson Flores had stepped out, everything before his eyes blurred, as if he had traversed space and appeared directly 700 to 800 meters away.
It turned out to be the Great Secret Technique Ground Shrinking Technique, long lost by the ancient Murphy Family!
Where did he learn it from?
Finlay Murphy?
Everyone instinctively remembered Finlay Murphy from the tales of Carson Flores, who should have died ten thousand years ago.
Carson Flores remained composed, knowing well that in the Secret Realm, filled with dangers, the fact that he knew the Ground Shrinking Technique would inevitably be exposed sooner or later, he was mentally prepared for this.
Carson Flores gave a slight smile, "Just luck."
Lilianna Norman stared coldly at Carson Flores for a moment, then said indifferently, "Since you don’t want to fight, we shall meet again another day, let’s go!"
Lilianna Norman turned and left, followed by a group of powerful members of the Demon Race.
Carson Flores breathed a sigh of relief, Lilianna Norman was a genius on par with Bryant James, if a fight had really broken out, it might have led to casualties.
Not fighting was best!
Carson Flores turned to Terry, "Will you blame me for not letting everyone fight to avenge you?"
Terry grinned, "How could that be? I have personally experienced the power of the Tide of the Azure Sea; it’s so strong. I even had to use my hidden defense treasure to survive, and yet it only withstood three waves before shattering. Had you arrived a few seconds later, I probably would have died."
Terry grimaced, "Cultivators have many magical treasures, the Demon Race knows this well, hence they didn’t hesitate to kill for loot upon encountering me, knowing anyone at our level of strength must be a key cultivator nurtured by the sects, surely possessing many valuable items."
"I was severely injured; had a genuine fight broken out, I’d probably be the first to fall, not fighting was definitely the better option. Like you said, my running into them was just bad luck. Who can I blame? I didn’t have the power to crush them, and there was no benefit, fighting would have been a senseless death."
Carson Flores nodded, his eyes sweeping over the group, he chuckled lightly, "After all, our goal is exploration, not to slaughter the Demon Race. Honestly, no matter how many Demons we kill, or how many of us die, it won’t really change the future of the Human Race and Demon Race; hence, our lives are more important."
Lainey Dragon laughed, "I support that! I just want to go back safely, there’s no profit in risking our lives recklessly!"
Kenzo Conley chuckled lightly, "Agreed, I think Carson’s decision is very wise."
Kash Lam touched his nose and giggled, "I was just roaring to boost our morale, so they wouldn’t think they had us completely under their control."
Lainey Dragon teased, "If it weren’t for Carson stopping you, I bet you would have charged at them already."
Kash Lam, directly hit on the nail, felt no embarrassment, "Mainly, I felt we wouldn’t lose if it really came to a fight, but Carson is right. There’s no benefit, it’s not worth risking our lives, and most importantly, even if we gave it our all, we wouldn’t be able to kill Lilianna Norman..."
Carson Flores said, "Come on, let’s find a place to rest."
The group moved to another location, where Lainey Dragon as the Water Spirit Body, assumed the role of the healer of the team, treating Terry.
Kash Lam looked at Carson Flores curiously, seemingly hesitating to speak. Seeing this, Carson Flores said, "If you have something to say, just speak. Don’t hold it in like constipation; it’s uncomfortable to watch."
Kash Lam’s face flushed slightly as he blurted out, "You really know the Great Secret Technique Ground Shrinking Technique."
Carson Flores nodded, "I know a bit about it, but I’m not an expert."
Kash Lam exclaimed, "That is one of the top secret techniques of the Barbarian Wilderness, coming from the Mortal Realm. To master it in just two years, your luck is truly formidable... Did that senior Murphy teach you?"
Carson Flores shook his head, "I knew it before that; it was also a matter of chance. How else could I have escaped from the Crimson Dragon King’s hands?"
Kash Lam sighed, "The Crimson Dragon King is a top Demon King who wiped out three Hollow Void experts cleanly, even their Primordial Spirits had no escape. Yet you managed to escape, that’s really something!"
Since Carson Flores mentioned it was by chance, everyone courteously did not press further.
After being treated, Terry looked much better and stretched his limbs, grimacing from pain, "Carson, if you hadn’t arrived quickly today and pulled me out of the Abnormal Phenomenon, I guess I would have been done for, thanks, I owe you one."
Carson Flores shook his head, "We are teammates, and I am the team leader; helping each other is expected, it is our mutual responsibility and obligation. This doesn’t count as a favor; you don’t have to worry about it."
Lainey Dragon chuckled lightly, "With your Ground Shrinking Technique, Cicada’s Mantle, and Great Displacement Command, maybe fighting wouldn’t win, but your ability to escape is first-class. Plus, you also have the Windroll Banner which can aid in our escape, electing you as a team leader was indeed wise..."
Carson Flores was about to reply when a deep, roaring growl suddenly filled the air, echoing throughout the entire True Dragon Secret Realm.
Everyone felt as if their hearts were violently pulled, their blood seeming to burst forth, and their heads filled with intense dizziness, as if struck by a hammer.
Kenzo Conley’s face changed dramatically, and he cried out in shock, "A dragon’s roar!"
