With Benson Bernard’s simple gesture, a black line, quivering with strong spatial fluctuations as if cutting through the firmament, appeared in the sky.

The line swiped across the shoulder of the Eight-Armed Arhat, and a huge arm, previously wielding weapons as large as houses, was severed from the Arhat’s shoulder, plummeting to the ground and smashing a mountainside before dissipating into Golden Light and fading into the air.

Carson Flores was left in shock, his gaze fixed on the Arhat’s shoulder, where a colossal gap shimmered with intense Golden Light but with tinges of sinister black mixed within.

As the arm of the Eight-Armed Arhat was severed, Bryant James’s complexion turned deathly pale; a mouthful of blood spurted out, and his whole demeanour suddenly wilted, his eyes filled with terror.

The Eight-Armed Arhat was an illusory form, which could recover from damage if summoned again. But now he realized that the arm could not be restored!

The Eight-Armed Arhat had become a Seven-Armed Arhat, its strength greatly diminished. Moreover, due to the mysterious connection between him and the illusory form, he himself had been severely wounded, suffering internal injuries that likely wouldn’t heal for a year or half a year.
