Chapter 692: Chapter 692: Could the Blessed Land of Cave Heavens Be a Shelter?_1

Cave Residence Four.

Carson Flores wiped the sweat from his forehead as he looked at the medicinal fields before him, revealing a contented smile.

He had gone to the general store and bought a large quantity of special, refined Spirit Soil, spreading it throughout the not-so-large medicinal fields.

The Spirit Soil was rich in Spiritual Energy, but most importantly, it could absorb Spiritual Energy to provide nutrients for the crops planted in it, promoting vigorous growth. In a way, Spirit Soil was similar to a Life Essence Pearl, but naturally, the effects were worlds apart.

Carson scattered various Spirit Fruit saplings and Spiritual Medicine Seeds throughout the small medicinal field.

The Life Essence Pearl was placed in front of Josy, the Vajra Vine. The Water-Fire Mirror continuously spewed out Aura Pillars; the Life Essence Pearl absorbed the Spiritual Energy, instantly transforming it into a dense vitality that quickly seeped into the Spirit Soil and into each of the Spiritual Medicine Seeds.

Time ticked away, and the Spiritual Medicine Seeds began to sprout, grow shoots, break through the Spirit Soil, and extend outwards.

Watching this scene, Carson felt utterly delighted.

After observing for a while, Carson got up and visited Myriad Treasures Emporium, spending ten thousand Spirit Stones on a Concealing Spirit Feather Robe. This robe was like a garment made of gauze and served as a Magic Artifact capable of hiding intense fluctuations of Spiritual Energy.

Carson was always careful and cautious, worried that the abundant Spiritual Energy in his medicinal field would draw the attention of interested parties.

When the Concealing Spirit Feather Robe expanded and formed a thin veil covering the small medicinal field, the strong fluctuations of Spiritual Energy instantly dissipated, and the surges became much more subtle.

Carson was very pleased with the result.

Cave residences have protective Formations that prevent those outside from seeing the inside unless someone attacks with great force. Now, with the only potentially revealing sign of Spiritual Energy fluctuations covered, Carson had made his set-up foolproof.

"Carson Flores."

The protective Formation’s bell rang as a reminder, and Killian Jaramillo’s crisp voice called from outside.

Feeling a bit surprised, Carson went outside the cave and deactivated the Formation.

Killian Jaramillo, clothed in flowing white, stood at the entrance of the cave with a smile, "The elixirs are refined, I’ve brought them to you."

Carson’s heart leaped with joy as he invited Killian into his cave.

"Miss Killian, you could have just sent me a message. You helped me with Alchemy, how could I let you deliver the medicines personally?"

Killian smiled, "I was planning to shop at the market anyway. It’s on the way. After all, it’s much simpler to come and go on Flying Waterfall Mountain Peak than other places."

Killian spoke the truth. Not only was Flying Waterfall Mountain Peak home to countless Loose Cultivators wishing to join the Four Great Sects, but the largest trading market of the entire Blessed Land of Cave Heavens was also located there. Additionally, Delaney Hunter wasn’t fond of managing affairs, so the peak was completely open for anyone to visit. Unlike the Four Great Sects that were concealed by Formations, to enter those Sects, one would have to pass through the main gates of the Sect and be announced by a Disciple, only then receiving permission to enter.

Killian placed the refined Nine-Turn Pills and Golden Marrow Pills on the table, laughing, "The quality of the Spiritual Medicine was very good, and as a result, the quality of the elixirs is also high. They should be about twenty percent more effective than standard elixirs."

"Thank you, Miss Killian. You’ve really helped me a lot."

Killian smiled lightly, "It was nothing, and besides, I’ve received a good deal in return."

After a pause, Killian looked at Carson with a curious gaze, "I heard you’ve become Cameron Hunter’s junior brother?"

Carson replied frankly, "Previously, Cameron Hunter taught me the basics of the Three-foot Sword Veil. When she arrived during the treant attack, she saw how I defended against the treant’s attacks with those basics and thought I was quite suitable for Cultivation of the Three-foot Sword Veil, so she decided to teach me. Since I already have some legacy, the Cave Master isn’t planning to accept me as a pupil, so Cameron Hunter asked me to just call her senior sister."

Killian’s eyes brightened slightly, "That’s a great thing. The Three-foot Sword Veil is super powerful."

Carson chuckled, "Powerful indeed, but the resources needed for its Cultivation are not small at all. It won’t be easy to master it."

Killian encouraged him, "Spirit Stones can be gradually earned. I heard from my father that if you can cultivate a Sword Bone, it will be infinitely beneficial for your continued advancement in Cultivation."

Carson nodded in agreement, "Yes, I’ll earn them slowly."

After some thought, Killian said with a light laugh, "I’m going to accompany my father to a Cultivator’s trading market. I’ll keep an eye out for the Dark Iron Raven Essence for you."

Carson inquired, "Where is this market held, in another Blessed Land of Cave Heavens?"

Killian shook her head, "No, it’s in the Barbaric Wilderness Realm."

Carson asked with curiosity, "What’s that?"

Killian explained, "The Barbaric Wilderness Realm is essentially what we refer to as the Cultivation Realm. The Barbaric Wilderness Realm is not connected to the Mortal Realm; they are two parallel worlds. The Blessed Lands of Cave Heavens are the gateways that connect the Barbaric Wilderness Realm and the Mortal Realm. Well, each Blessed Land is one such gateway."

Carson’s eyes widened, "World gateways?"

Killian laughed lightly, "Yes, due to their special location, the Blessed Lands of Cave Heavens possess a dense Spiritual Energy similar to that of the Barbaric Wilderness Realm. Yet, they are mostly devoid of ferocious beasts, making them highly suitable for humans to live and cultivate. On the other hand, in the Barbaric Wilderness Realm, the beasts are incredibly fierce and countless. Even cities guarded by powerful Cultivators are often susceptible to annihilation by formidable beasts overnight, catching people off guard."

"To avoid danger, the large Cultivator Sects prefer to place their Sects within these various gateways to different worlds. Over time, this gave rise to the concept of Blessed Lands of Cave Heavens. As the Great Sects occupied these gateways, eventually there were ten Great Blessed Lands, thirty-six Lesser Blessed Lands, and seventy-two Auspicious Lands..."

Carson listened, utterly astonished, was this the origin of the Blessed Lands of Cave Heavens?

The Blessed Lands of Cave Heavens were actually refuges for Cultivators?
