The crisp sound of a slap echoed in the middle of the Martial Battle Arena.

The crowd buzzed with surprise.

Jensen felt a weight in his heart; he had shown weakness right off the bat, to highlight his responsibility as the junior Sect Master and tried to pin Carson down with his words, secretly hoping Carson would let him off the hook. But obviously, Carson saw through him.

As Jensen was still pondering what to say, Carson suddenly lifted his foot and kicked him in the chest.

Jensen was sent flying like a cannonball, spewing out blood before hitting the ground hard.
