Chapter 209: Chapter 209: Don’t You Still Have a Boss?_1

Davis Bernard froze, surprised, he said, "You’re going up?"

Carson Flores chuckled, "Don’t worry, I’m slick in a fight and I’ve never lost. Boss, let me have this chance to show off."

Davis Bernard grabbed Carson Flores’ arm, "Are you serious? Do you know the consequences?"

Carson Flores smiled, "I’ve got it all figured out."

Carson Flores stepped up to Harry Reid, smiling, "I’m giving you a chance, disperse your men and remove the cars quickly to avoid a beating."

Davis Bernard was shocked.

Is this kid that arrogant?

From behind the crowd, Shirley Miller’s mouth turned up slightly at the corners; this outcome was not beyond her expectations.

Having dealt with life and death fights with ease, such street thugs posed no challenge for Carson Flores—they were just asking for a beating.

Eithan Fuentes and the others widened their eyes, looking at each other in disbelief.

Has this kid gone crazy?

Didn’t he see the big group opposite them, each one armed with a weapon?

He spoke so arrogantly, was he not afraid of being beaten to death by a random club?

Does he think Harry Reid would engage in a one-on-one fight with him, and as long as he could beat Harry Reid, he’d be able to break the siege?

Harry Reid was also startled, then burst into laughter, "This kid is insane. He’s trying to intimidate me, right? He’s intimidating me, huh? I’m so scared... I’m afraid of getting hit..."

The dozen or so men around them all burst into laughter, their words filled with mockery as they looked at Carson Flores as if he were a fool.

Carson Flores, however, nodded earnestly, patting the hood of the truck beside him, "You’re right. I am intimidating you. I’m giving you one minute to move the truck, otherwise, heh heh."

"Otherwise what? You mean to say, suffer the consequences?"

Harry Reid leaned in close to Carson Flores, saying arrogantly, "Don’t talk about how tough you are. Even if I let you hit me standing right in front of you, do you dare to punch me? With these dozen brothers of mine..."

Before Harry Reid could finish, Carson Flores already reached out and grabbed his neck, pulling him along.

Harry Reid, with his head already tilted, was dragged forward by Carson Flores, resulting in a thud as his head collided with the hood, making a loud ’thunk’.

Stars exploded before Harry Reid’s eyes from the impact. Struggling to steady himself, he cursed reflexively, "You motherfu—"

"Thump!"

Before Harry Reid could finish cursing, Carson Flores had grabbed his neck again, smashing his head against the hood once more with a swift and smooth motion.

The rest of Harry Reid’s words were cut off by the impact, his forehead split open, blood flowing out instantly, making a sorry sight.

This scene stunned everyone.

Was this guy too fierce?

He actually started hitting right away?

Dragging someone’s head to smash it against the truck, causing a bloody mess, this was way too brutal.

Harry Reid, dizzy with a mix of stars and pain, roared, "Come on, what are you looking at me dying for!"

Only then did the crowd of tattooed youths, who had been laughing and watching the show, snap back to reality, grabbing their baseball bats and rushing over.

"Fuck, hit him!"

"Dare to hit Brother Star, kill him!"

The first man raised his baseball bat to strike, but Carson Flores didn’t dodge. He simply grabbed Harry Reid by the arm, lifting him to shield himself.

"Bang!"

"Ahh!"

The bat landed squarely on Harry Reid’s arm, eliciting a scream of pain from him, "Damn it, watch where you’re hitting!"

The man who struck was dazed—he had aimed for Carson Flores, so how did he end up hitting Brother Star’s arm?

At this moment, a large group of men rushed up, holding up their baseball bats to strike Carson Flores, who was leaning against the truck, clutching Harry Reid by the nape, pulling him in front like hanging a chicken, and Harry Reid took several more heavy blows.

Harry Reid was crying out in agony, and the assailants were frightened.

If they kept hitting him, Harry Reid would retaliate.

In their moment of hesitation, Carson Flores, with his free right hand, snatched up an incoming baseball bat, jerked it, delivered a knee strike, and the man doubled over, falling to the ground, dropping the baseball bat into Carson Flores’ hand.

Carson Flores swung casually, and several more attackers were promptly beaten to the ground.

Meanwhile, Davis Bernard, wielding a riot fork, charged forward, flipping one young man close to Carson Flores into the air, then swung back, hitting another in the waist with the fork.

As a man charged at Davis Bernard from the side, a baseball bat flew past, smashing into his back, toppling him to the ground.

Seeing the tide turn, several men pulled out daggers from their belts and rushed over.

Carson Flores sneered, grabbed Harry Reid, and swung him sideways toward those men.

Caught off guard, the attackers were knocked to the ground by the flying Harry Reid.

Carson Flores picked up another baseball bat, walking over with an easy gait. The moment someone tried to rise, he delivered a swift, clean swing.

By the time Carson Flores approached Harry Reid again, there was not a single person standing around him.

Carson Flores looked down at Harry Reid, "Isn’t there some ’Big Liao’? Hurry up and call him over so we can discuss how this protection money should be paid?"
