Chapter 203: Chapter 203 Divine Skill_1

"Mr. Flores, is the resuscitation of my father very serious?"

Remy Johnston approached Carson Flores, her expression anxious as she asked. Despite her concern, her tone was very polite.

She had received a call from her bodyguard, had checked the surveillance in the underground parking lot, and confirmed that Carson Flores was a passerby trying to help, with no involvement in her father’s collapse.

Now certain that Carson Flores was a good Samaritan helping her father, Remy Johnston’s attitude toward him improved significantly.

Carson Flores smiled comfortingly, "I stimulated the heart with Silver Needles and sealed off the disruption of Qi and blood. There should be no problem with the surgery; you needn’t worry."

Remy Johnston nodded and then asked, "My men reviewed the surveillance footage and saw Zara Stein bowing deeply to you. What was she doing?"

Carson Flores answered, "Earlier, I had an encounter with her and your father at the mall. We had a minor scuffle, and she worried I might bear a grudge and not save your father with all my might. Moreover, she feared that if anything happened to your father, your family would not let her off easily. Therefore, she was asking me to forgive her previous impoliteness and to save your father without leaving any sequelae."

Remy Johnston uttered an ’oh,’ glanced at Zara Stein who stood nearby like a frightened quail, and said indifferently, "Well, at least she has some conscience. It seemed she and my father had a dispute. It’s something I, as his son, should not address. I’ll let my father handle it when he wakes."

Carson Flores chuckled, "Since it’s a matter of giving and taking, let’s be forgiving."

Remy Johnston looked slightly surprised, "She offended you, and yet you still speak in her defense?"

Carson Flores laughed, "It was nothing more than a bit of opportunism, a touch of arrogance. Since she has already apologized, why should I persist in holding a grudge and come off as petty and small-minded?"

Remy Johnston nodded, "Alright, for Mr. Flores’s sake, as long as my father is fine, I’ll persuade him to not make it difficult for her."

When Remy Johnston said this, she didn’t avoid Zara Stein. Zara Stein, listening to the exchange, sent a grateful look toward Carson Flores.

Shirley Miller watched Carson Flores, her eyes softening; this man was ruthless with his foes, but in reality, he had a broad and tender heart.

The doors to the resuscitation room opened, and everyone’s gaze immediately shifted there, focusing on the assistant doctor who emerged.

Remy Johnston asked urgently, "How is my dad?"

The assistant doctor appeared panicked, his eyes fixating on Carson Flores, "The patient’s condition is not good... Sir, did you insert the Silver Needles?"

Carson Flores frowned slightly, "Did you remove the Silver Needles?"

The assistant doctor answered with a mix of alarm and embarrassment, "During the surgery, it was inconvenient, so Dr. Weiss told us to remove the needles. But the patient’s vital signs started to drop rapidly, and despite our efforts, we couldn’t stop it..."

Remy Johnston’s face turned ashen; he glared at the doctor fiercely and turned to ask, "Mr. Flores, what happens if the Silver Needles are removed?"

Carson Flores replied, "As I said earlier, I used the Silver Needles to seal off his Qi and blood from dissipating. Now that the needles are removed, the Qi and blood are dispersed, and his body functions cannot be maintained..."

Remy Johnston interrupted Carson Flores, asking bluntly, "Is there still a way to save him?"

Remy Johnston was certain that if the group of experts inside had any way to save his father, they wouldn’t have sent someone to inquire about the Silver Needles. Their questioning was a sign they were out of options, and his father was now just waiting to die!

Carson Flores didn’t waste words, "Let me go in; I should still be able to rescue him."

Remy Johnston said decisively, "Let’s go, I’ll join you."

The assistant doctor didn’t dare to make a sound and hurriedly led them both into the resuscitation room, where they donned surgical attire and approached the operating table.

"Silver Needles."

Carson Flores caught a glimpse of the monitoring equipment beside him and gave a quick command, at the same time uncovering the surgical cloth over Taylor Johnston’s body.

Seeing Carson Flores begin to operate as if unobstructed, Curtis Weiss shouted sternly, "What are you doing?"

Carson Flores looked up, his gaze indifferent as he glanced at Curtis Weiss, "The patient is now approaching death; if you have another method, go ahead."

Curtis Weiss was momentarily at a loss; if he had another method, they would not have needed to ask about the Silver Needles.

The nurse beside them quickly presented the Silver Needles, previously removed and placed on a tray, back to Carson Flores. He ignored Curtis Weiss, inserting the needles rapidly - within a few blinks, Taylor Johnston’s chest was filled with Silver Needles.

Carson Flores stretched out two fingers, accurately and swiftly flicking the area of Taylor Johnston’s heart. Taylor Johnston’s chest trembled with each flick, and as Carson Flores repeated the motion, Taylor Johnston’s heartbeat became vigorous, much to the astonishment of everyone present.

Could this man’s two fingers produce the effect of an electric shock?

"It’s risen!"

The nurse monitoring the data exclaimed joyfully, "The heartbeat and blood pressure both are rising!"

After pressing a few more times, Carson Flores looked up at the circle of dumbfounded doctors and nurses, "His condition has stabilized, so continue the surgery. What are you staring at me for? I’m not the patient..."
