Chapter 1437: Chapter 1437: Not Ripe? Let’s Hasten the Ripening!

"Master, once I achieve success and settle my grievances, I will return to the White Crane Immortal Sect to serve you!"

Spencer Steele kowtowed heavily to Carson Flores three times, then left cleanly and decisively.

Watching Spencer disappear into the horizon, Carson’s emotions were complex.

He understood her eagerness to not waste even a shred of time in her pursuit to grow stronger. Though she hadn’t even visited Heavenly Sword Peak yet, Carson still readily agreed to her request. Not only that, he gifted her a number of items.

Spencer’s cultivation path was entirely different from his own. Keeping her around wouldn’t enable him to teach her much. Moreover, the opportunity she had found contained a complete inheritance, giving her clear guidance on what actions to take and how to enhance herself.

Aside from Immortal Spirit Stones, talismans, and elixirs, Carson also gifted her several magical treasures he had left behind, including Second Brother’s Cicada’s Mantle and the Great Displacement Command.

If a disciple is to brave the world alone, isn’t it incumbent on the master to help "arm" them properly?

Spencer had left, and Carson once again set out on his journey toward the Blackstone Mountain Range.

Carson had returned to being a solitary wanderer.

Oddly enough, he felt a faint sense of discomfort...

Habits really are terrifying!

Fortunately, after years of traveling alone, it didn’t take Carson long to regain his equilibrium. Once again, he transformed into a lone wolf.

Several days later, Carson arrived at the Blackstone Mountain Range.

The Blackstone Mountain Range lies within the realm of the Iron Lion Dynasty on the Skyland Continent, spanning tens of thousands of miles. As it is inhospitable to ordinary humans, demonic beasts are abundant, making it a forbidden zone for common folk.

The rumors of Divine Brilliance Tower appearing in the Blackstone Mountain Range had been circulating for quite some time. Upon hearing the news, cultivators started flocking to the area en masse, and a large number of them had already gathered here.

Upon entering the Blackstone Mountain Range, cultivators often encounter powerful demonic beasts, leading to frequent battles. This naturally gives rise to a wide variety of needs—magical treasures, elixirs, talismans, and more. Before long, a temporary cultivator market had formed outside the Blackstone Mountain Range.

Every cultivator arriving at the Blackstone Mountain Range first visits this temporary market to gather the latest information before deciding on their course.

The mountain range is teeming with various demonic beasts, but it also abounds with an array of spiritual medicines and Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures. Though these cultivators were drawn here by Divine Brilliance Tower, the fleeting nature of such occurrences cannot be forced, so their main objectives are hunting demonic beasts, gathering medicinal materials and ore, and acquiring valuable items to exchange for cultivation resources.

Cultivators at the market range from sect teams to many loose cultivators. Some venture alone, others accompanied by close friends and family, and still others recruit team members to explore the mountains together.

Despite possessing Human Immortal powers, Carson dared not charge recklessly into the Blackstone Mountain Range. The area supposedly harbors formidable demonic beasts whose strength rivals True Immortals and even Golden Immortals.

When Carson reached the market, he removed his White Crane Immortal Sect magic robe and replaced it with an unmarked green robe. After all, he had stirred up considerable commotion in the Eastern Blossom Celestial Abyss and caused a ruckus in the Palace of Seven Beauties. He couldn’t rule out the possibility of being targeted.

The taller the tree, the stronger the wind!

He didn’t want to invite unnecessary trouble.

Encircling the market were numerous massive Flying Boats belonging to Immortal Realm Traveling Merchants. Wherever there is demand, you’ll find their Flying Boats, hawking all manner of goods. Of course, their prices were steep compared to city stores, but in the wilderness—what other choice do you have?

Though the market was temporary, it boasted everything one could imagine. High-end shops like Myriad Treasures Pavilion, Rejuvenation Hall, Flying Talisman Hall, and True Medicine Shop were lined up neatly, their Building Talismans summoned directly to the ground, instantly establishing the storefronts.

In addition to these larger establishments, many independent cultivators had set up their stalls, offering items they had personally acquired—be it demonic beast products or medicinal materials.

Carson wandered through the market, eventually stepping into a small, unassuming shop.

Listenwind Lodge.

An elegant name.

The shop was part of an organization dedicated to selling various types of information. As a newcomer, Carson didn’t want to waste time asking around, so he opted to buy the information instead.

"Sir, what kind of information are you looking for?"

Carson smiled. "Naturally, anyone coming here is after Divine Brilliance Tower. I want to hear about that. Of course, if the Blackstone Mountain Range holds any other noteworthy developments, I’d be interested in those as well."

The clerk’s smile was warm. "We definitely have information for you..."

Not long after, Carson stepped out and found a nearby restaurant to sit in, ordering a meal.

Once the food arrived, Carson held his wine cup, took a sip, and pulled out the map he had just acquired, studying it carefully.

Divine Brilliance Tower had appeared four times during this period. On two occasions, people entered the tower, after which it vanished. On the other two occasions, it was spotted by many, but no one entered before it disappeared again.

These were the confirmed sightings. Any unobserved appearances would naturally remain unknown.

The map featured four x-marks, each annotated with dates representing the reported sightings.

Carson examined the map for some time before shaking his head.

Four locations, no discernible pattern, widely scattered...

Forget it. No need to dwell on this. Better to go check out that unripe Nine Dragons Immortal Lotus.

Unripe?

Well, let’s help it ripen!
