Chapter 1435: Where’s the Bottleneck? No Bottleneck in Advancement?
Chapter 1435: Chapter 1435: Where’s the Bottleneck? No Bottleneck in Advancement?
"Master, where are we?"
Carson Flores floated in mid-air, surveying the boundless expanse of water beneath them. He chuckled and said, "About two thousand miles from where we first entered. The Palace of Seven Beauties lies beneath this very water."
Carson took out the Token and channeled a Spirit Art into it.
The Token suddenly emitted bright light, transforming into rays that penetrated directly into the water below.
"Boom!"
The entire land trembled as the water rippled violently. Countless fish darted frantically in the waves.
The currents surged apart on both sides, revealing a massive all-metal palace slowly rising from the depths.
The Palace of Seven Beauties!
The entire structure resembled a Rubik’s Cube, ascending from the water’s surface into the sky before coming to a stop, quietly hovering in mid-air.
The palace was enormous, measuring several kilometers in length, width, and height. Forged from a massive metallic ore mountain, it had been placed with formations, Ghost Spirit Water, and other items seemingly at random.
It could be considered a magical treasure, but it was better classified as an indestructible palace rather than something usable for combat.
Carson continued to weave spells, aiming them at the Token.
In the sky, the colossal Palace of Seven Beauties rapidly shrank. Eventually, it became as small as an ordinary Rubik’s Cube, flying down and hovering above Carson’s palm.
Spencer Steele marveled, "That’s amazing!"
Carson nodded. "I have no idea about the origin of that senior. His abilities are truly heaven-defying, exceeding all imagination. And he’s not even from the Thunder Immortal Realm. Does your destiny gift contain any information about him?"
Spencer shook his head. "No, there’s no information about him. The light sphere contained a memory, which seems to belong to a woman. Within it was a cultivation technique, but I can’t describe it—it feels as though it’s etched directly onto my soul."
Carson remained indifferent. "As long as you understand it, there’s no need to describe it. That senior mentioned this opportunity is unique, unable to be replicated. So, it’s only natural that it can’t be shared. If it were shareable or teachable, it wouldn’t align with his claim of it being unreproducible. It must be a special form of inheritance."
Carson stored the Palace of Seven Beauties into his Space Ring and turned to Spencer. "Let’s go, let’s check out the Blackstone Mountain Range."
Spencer asked, "What about Malia Salinas and the others?"
Carson replied, "They’re probably still waiting for us there. No need to stir up trouble. I’ve given instructions before that if they can’t find us, they’ll return on their own."
"Alright!"
The two of them headed north toward the Blackstone Mountain Range.
During their journey on the Flying Boat, Spencer spent most of his time meditating. One day, as they passed through a vast primeval forest, Spencer suddenly opened his eyes, which had turned pitch black, like an abyss, devoid of any light.
"Master, I’m about to advance!"
Carson paused for a moment before smiling. "Advancing to Mid-Stage of God Transformation? Good, focus on your breakthrough. I’ll protect you."
"Thank you, Master!"
Carson stopped the Flying Boat in an open plain. Spencer’s aura surged with a heart-stopping, rapidly growing power.
"Boom!"
A terrifying energy burst spread outward from Spencer at the center, sweeping across several miles.
Already advancing?
Mid-Stage of God Transformation!
This progression was incredibly smooth.
Carson mulled over this in his mind. Yet, he noticed Spencer hadn’t opened his eyes but remained seated in meditation, with the overwhelming momentum still rapidly increasing.
Carson widened his eyes. He’s still advancing?
Impressive!
As expected, such exceptional opportunities from the Immortal Realm are truly extraordinary!
Carson waited with anticipation, delighted at Spencer’s progress. As the master, he hoped his disciple would grow stronger, especially given the perilous circumstances faced by cultivators in the Divinity Transformation Stage.
Half an hour later, another terrifying energy wave erupted, expanding outward.
Advancing to Late Phase of Transforming Spirit!
Carson’s eyes gleamed with joy. Excellent, two breakthroughs in one go. Judging by the momentum, could she be heading straight for Nascent Soul Great Perfection?
How should I help Spencer overcome the bottleneck and reach Hollow Void Stage?
Carson sat cross-legged on the ground and began pondering.
Currently at Middle Stage Human Immortal, Carson knew without special opportunities, relying solely on arduous cultivation would be far too slow. He decided that perhaps stopping to help Spencer acquire elixirs or other valuable items for quicker advancement might be more worthwhile.
At the very least, he needed to first ascend to Human Immortal, crossing that monumental threshold.
While Carson was deep in thought, a breeze suddenly blew across his face.
A breeze?
Carson looked up and was surprised to find the once-bright sky rapidly darkening. Clouds were quickly piling up, turning black, and spreading across a range of several dozen miles.
Beneath this ominous cloud was Spencer.
Carson looked down to see Spencer now rising into the air, heading straight toward the dark clouds.
Seeing this familiar scene, Carson’s eyes widened in disbelief.
Could this be the breakthrough to Hollow Void Stage... Tribulation Lightning ascension?
As the first bolt of lightning descended from the Thunder Cave, Carson was still somewhat dazed.
What about the bottleneck?
Aren’t cultivators, apart from those with an Innate Taoist Body, supposed to face bottlenecks?
How did she bypass it entirely?
