Carson Flores took half a step back, while Lonnie Woolery took a full step.

With fierce eyes and high fighting spirit, Lonnie Woolery exclaimed, "Good! To possess such strength at a young age, you’re truly worthy of being Andrew’s disciple! Come again!"

Both men charged at each other again like lightning, with punches and kicks as quick as lightning and as powerful as a thousand pounds.

After a brief exchange, Carson Flores directly shouldered Lonnie Woolery’s attacks and charged into his embrace.

"Bang, bang, bang!"

Lonnie Woolery’s lightning-fast punches hit Carson Flores’s chest in succession, producing thumping sounds like those of a drum, yet Carson Flores seemed unfazed. With a shrug of his shoulder, he fiercely rammed into Lonnie Woolery’s chest.

Lonnie Woolery flew into the air as if hit by a wild bull and landed heavily on the ground.

Carson Flores stood his ground, not pursuing the attack.

Lonnie Woolery got up from the ground, checked his chest, and found no broken bones.

Haven Woolery.

Carson Flores gave a slight nod as a greeting and then said, "I have here some of the misdeeds committed by people of the Woolery Family. If you’re interested, old master, I’ll send you a copy later. As for how I came to know of these, it’s best you don’t ask."

At Carson Flores’s words, a sense of panic filled the eyes of some members of the Woolery Family.

Lonnie Woolery clasped his hands and said, "Thank you. If there are any more in the Woolery Family who endanger lives, I will not let them off easily."

Carson Flores said nothing; how Lonnie Woolery would deal with his family’s affairs was none of his concern.

Carson Flores was only there to resolve a problem.

He waited quietly.

In the distance, the roar of a car engine could be heard, and a black sedan appeared, speeding through the smashed open gate and into the villa.

Ronin Woolery had returned.

Upon getting out of the car, Ronin Woolery’s first sight was Carson Flores, which made his face show surprise.

"Hey, what are you doing here, kid? Did that gal die and now you’re here to make trouble, hoping for some compensation?"

Carson Flores replied indifferently, "Ye Wen didn’t die, to your disappointment."

Ronin Woolery sneered, "Then what are you doing here, tattling? As you’ve seen, she jumped out of the building on her own. I neither pushed her nor threatened her with a knife. Even if she died, it’d have nothing to do with me!"

Lonnie Woolery asked sternly, "Mr. Flores, what has Ronin done now?"

Carson Flores replied coolly, "At dinner last night, Ronin took a fancy to a woman and flirted with her in front of her boyfriend. He then machinated to deceive the boyfriend into tricking the woman to a hotel room, where he delivered her to Ronin’s bed and humiliated her in front of her boyfriend. The woman, not tolerating the disgrace, attempted suicide by jumping out of the building. Had I not happened to be passing by below, she would be dead by now. With the Woolery Family’s protection, Ronin would naturally face no consequences."

As the Woolery Family listened to Carson Flores’s words, each one of them looked uncomfortable.

They all knew that Ronin liked to play with women, but they hadn’t expected him to go to such lengths, even regarding human life as worthless.

Lonnie Woolery’s face turned iron blue. "Mr. Flores, are you here because of this matter with the Woolery Family?"

Carson Flores nodded, "Yes, but learning that the Woolery Family was targeting Shirley Miller under the Miller Family’s orders turned out to be an unexpected gain. It saves me another trip later on."

Hearing this, everyone was taken aback.

They had assumed that Carson Flores had come for Shirley Miller, only to realize that wasn’t the case at all. The real instigator of bringing Carson Flores, this harbinger of doom, to the Woolery Family was none other than Ronin!

Instantly, the gazes toward Ronin were filled with anger.

As Ronin listened to Carson Flores accuse him in front of Lonnie Woolery, he began to panic: "Grandpa, her boyfriend agreed to it, and I was going to pay the woman well. I hadn’t even touched her when she cursed her boyfriend and jumped out of the window. It has nothing to do with me."
