Chapter 1318: Chapter 1318: If It’s an Eagle, It Should Soar

Sandstone City, a small town where farming and a black sandstone mine are the main productions.

Black sandstone is a type of Refining Materials, and due to the abundant and high output, its value is not considered very high.

The population of Sandstone City isn’t large and it’s located in a secluded area. There are no formidable Demonic Beasts nearby; it’s very safe, so much so that the city doesn’t even have protective Formations.

Carson Flores’ family and friends reside here, having chosen this spot for its plentiful Spiritual Energy, though it’s too remote. Cultivators from the external world rarely visit, there are no conflicts and hence, no dangers.

It might sound exaggerated, but whether it’s a Sect war or a grand battle between the Human Race and Demon Race, even if the outside world falls into chaos, Sandstone City would likely remain unaffected, simply enjoying its plain and natural daily life.

Carson Flores, accompanied by two ladies and invited by Sophia Roth for a celebratory meal along with five Demi Immortals, entered the city and returned to the residence where Lucy Frost and others lived.

As Carson Flores and the others entered, the people in the house heard the news and rushed out, faces brimming with surprise.

The mother, Lucy Frost, Aunt Leah Frost, Old Master Chu, Old Master Gu, Lydia Howell, and Lilly Compton.

Not one was missing.

Lucy Frost’s eyes lit up immediately upon seeing the two ladies beside Carson Flores.

Daughters-in-law!

Two!

Both so beautiful; her son really had a way!

She had heard about the two daughters-in-law from Leah Frost, but it was only today that she finally met them.

Shirley Miller and Samantha Tate were somewhat nervous, as it was essentially their first time meeting the parents.

After some initial nervous and polite exchanges, everyone quickly warmed up to each other, particularly with Leah Frost there who was familiar with two ladies and had an outgoing personality.

Carson Flores’ fellow Sect members were also there; however, they lived in the large courtyard next door.

Leah Frost hugged Carson Flores’ shoulder unabashedly, "Impressive, in a blink of an eye you became the Savior of the Human Race, with your momentum, it won’t be long till your Ascension to Immortal becomes real."

Carson Flores shifted his shoulder, getting slightly away from Leah Frost’s embrace, "Aunt, what level have you reached now?"

"Ah, I cannot match your Cultivation speed; I’ve just reached the Great Perfection of Golden Core Stage, still wondering when I could Breakthrough to Nascent Soul..."

Carson Flores smiled, "That’s quite fast already to reach Golden Core Great Perfection in such a short time. How about them?"

Leah Frost laughed, "Lilly Compton has reached the Nascent Soul Stage; your mom, I, and Lydia Howell are at the Golden Core Stage..."

Carson Flores asked in astonishment, "Lilly Compton reached Nascent Soul?"

Leah Frost chuckled, "Senior Master Gu guides our Cultivation often, but Lilly Compton has a higher Cultivation talent. It seems like Senior Master Gu might even take her as a Disciple..."

Carson Flores remarked joyfully, "That’s great news."

Originally, Lilly Compton, having been taught Cultivation Techniques by the orphanage director in the Mortal Realm, saw a rapid increase in her Cultivation abilities, evidently possessing great potential, only limited by the scarce Spiritual Energy in the Mortal Realm. Now that she’s in the Barbarian Wilderness Realm, it’s normal for her strength to soar.

Leah Frost suddenly asked, "If Cristopher Hopkins Immortal’s matter is resolved, reopening the Ascension Passage, you guys must be heading to the Immortal Realm, right?"

Carson Flores nodded, "That should be the case; staying any longer wouldn’t provide any space for improvement."

After a pause, Carson Flores smiled, "Aunt, although those who aren’t Immortal can’t pass through the Realm Gate, I heard that in the Immortal Realm, there are special elixirs that allow passage through the gate. If I go to the Immortal Realm, I’ll find some elixirs then everyone can go to the Immortal Realm together."

Leah Frost pinched Carson Flores’ cheek, her eyes filled with doting affection, "You, always thinking about solving everything by yourself to take care of everyone close to you, but that will tire you out."

Carson Flores grinned, "Family matters; there’s nothing too tiring about them."

Leah Frost stared into Carson Flores’s eyes earnestly and said, "When your sister and I heard about your story with Cristopher Hopkins Immortal, we discussed this matter. We share the same thought; we won’t go to the Immortal Realm."

Carson Flores froze, "Why is that?"

Leah Frost smiled, "Your pace is too fast; we can’t keep up. Since we can’t keep up, we don’t want to be a burden to you. Thanks to your blessings, we now have sufficient Cultivation Resources and a stable environment to Cultivate. We are fortunate to live happily together, looking out for each other."

"We are all still very young and now have long life spans; we can take care of ourselves. Besides, with your reputation here, we face no dangers in the Barbarian Wilderness. This place is the most suitable for us, we can even occasionally return to the Mortal Realm."

"The Immortal Realm and Barbarian Wilderness are pretty similar; the former is just bigger, and Cultivation happens slightly quicker. Even if we followed you there, what then?"

"I’ve heard there are many levels among Immortals and the Immortal Path is infinite, with no end. Focus on pursuing the Immortal Path, go wherever you wish, without worrying about us."

"There are countless Immortal Domains in the Immortal Realm; if you go to other Immortal Domains in the future, would you also take us along? When children grow up, they are like eagles meant to fly. There comes a day for departure, so let’s end our journey together in the Barbarian Wilderness."
