Chapter 1130: Chapter 1130: Your destiny has long been bound together with mine!
"In the Immortal Realm, they’re considered top-tier?"
Carson Flores’s eyes widened in surprise as he turned around, "That powerful?"
Cristopher Hopkins Immortal confirmed with certainty, "A magical treasure that forms its own world is not something any magical treasure can achieve."
Suddenly, Carson’s face turned bitter, "I regret it now. Do you think if I turn around and go back, pleading for a master-servant contract, there might still be a chance?"
The Cristopher Hopkins Immortal couldn’t help but chuckle. Her usually cool demeanor gave way to laughter, "Why not turn back and give it a try?"
Carson was obviously joking as he sighed, "Forget it, one shouldn’t force what fate doesn’t hold. Let’s go, let’s go. I wonder which lucky person will get that treasure."
After a pause, Carson chuckled and said, "Well, it’s good in a way. It stopped Bryant James from getting through. Otherwise, if he had obtained the Ghost Tower and then came after me again, my death would have been certain. Ah, no loss, no loss!"
The Cristopher Hopkins Immortal laughed lightly, "You really have an open mind about this."
Carson laughed heartily, "There are so many magical wonders and Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures in this world, not all of them can be mine. As far as magical treasures go, having two or three powerful, handy ones is good enough."
"I currently possess the powerful attacking Emperor Seal and the Water-Fire Mirror, defensive gear like the Cicada’s Mantle and the Black Tortoise Pendant, supportive items like the Life Essence Pearl, as well as various other small artifacts. I’m not lacking."
"As a person, you can’t be too greedy. Contentment brings happiness."
The Cristopher Hopkins Immortal asked, "How much of the Blood Mist you collected in the Valley of Death is left?"
Carson answered, "About a third. Oh, Fairy, I’ve been meaning to ask you, what exactly is this Blood Mist? Why does it possess such power?"
The Cristopher Hopkins Immortal spoke with a faint tone, "It’s my blood, but it contains a powerful curse. If it hadn’t been for the curse placed upon me, I wouldn’t have been unable to escape and ended up dismembered and suppressed."
"I was killed in the Valley of Death. While being dismembered, I forced out the blood linked with the curse’s power, and it has been floating inside the valley ever since."
"That blood’s curse is very strong. Even an Immortal would find it troublesome to be affected by it, let alone Cultivators from the Barbaric Wilderness Realm."
Carson was taken aback. So the Blood Mist was actually Cristopher Hopkins Immortal’s blood—no wonder it was so domineering!
Now that the conversation had reached this point, Carson pursued further, "I’ve always been curious. If she had already killed you, why didn’t she just completely annihilate you, allowing you to vanish from this world entirely..."
The Cristopher Hopkins Immortal replied, "She didn’t dare. If she destroyed my body, the measures my father left inside me would reveal the fact that she killed me."
Carson realized, "My master also left a Primordial Spirit Projection on me. If I die, it will escape back to my master, and he will know who killed me. Is it a similar method to that?"
"Yes."
The Cristopher Hopkins Immortal continued, "She killed me stealthily, not daring to let my father find out, or she would surely die. So, she figured out a way to kill me in the Barbaric Wilderness Realm, to dismember and suppress me in secret places, ensuring my father would never find out."
Carson understood, "No wonder. In that case, is there any way you could send a message to your father? If he knew your circumstances, capturing her and forcing the truth about where your body parts are suppressed would be easy. With your father’s power, rescuing you would be a piece of cake, right?"
The Cristopher Hopkins Immortal shook her head, "The pathway to the Immortal Realm has been severed; I can’t send any messages. Besides, I suspect she has guards at the entrance, and unless my body is fully recovered, I won’t be able to ascend to the heavens and confront the gatekeepers directly. If I manage to get through, everything else should be simple."
At this point, Carson was truly startled.
"The Immortal Realm’s Sky-Piercing Array is destroyed, the pathway severed—could it be because of you?"
The Cristopher Hopkins Immortal hummed affirmatively, "There are other reasons, but a significant one is indeed to prevent my resurrection, to stop me from sending messages to the Immortal Realm."
Carson’s eyes widened. He never imagined the real reason the path between the Barbaric Wilderness Realm and the Immortal Realm was severed was due to Cristopher Hopkins Immortal!
Someone dared to cut off an entire realm’s pathway just to suppress Cristopher Hopkins Immortal forever in the Barbaric Wilderness Realm, halting all Cultivators from ascending to Immortality!
Holy smokes, that’s going all out!
Carson’s mind raced, "I once encountered two True Dragon Souls who claimed to be the maidens of a mighty being, who indeed is the one who severed the pathway. This powerful entity and the woman who chased you down..."
"They’re in cahoots!"
The Cristopher Hopkins Immortal answered tersely, "It wasn’t just one person against me, but a group, involving the interests of many."
Carson felt a shiver run down his spine. By helping the Cristopher Hopkins Immortal, was he implicating himself against a whole gang of Immortals?
Any one of them could kill him with ease, not even requiring their personal involvement; they could just send one of their True Dragon Maidens to take care of him.
Seeing what Carson was thinking, the Cristopher Hopkins Immortal spoke calmly, "You’ve already helped me twice. You have no way out now. From the moment you broke the seal on my arm, your fate was bound to mine..."
