Chapter 1124: Chapter 1124: Carson Flores, You Have Shamed Me Once Again!

Bryant James was ultimately a resolute and ruthless person, and when left with no choice, he swung the butcher’s knife at his own Abnormal Phenomenon.

The Eight-Armed Arhat swung one arm carrying a huge axe and brought it down heavily upon another arm that held the Demon-Subduing Pestle.

That axe strike was extremely fierce, severing the arm holding the Demon-Subduing Pestle completely.

The severed arm fell from the sky and crashed onto the ground, creating a tremendous booming sound, and then the golden arm gradually lost its luster, eventually turning into specks of dark gold light, vanishing into the air.

Carson Flores curiously watched the disappearing arm on the ground and then shifted his gaze to the area of severed limb in the sky, wondering if this limb would grow back?

Last time, the Arhat’s arm had been clipped off by the eldest disciple through a special method and had never grown back. Perhaps an arm crudely chopped by himself could regrow?

Regardless of how one might view it, this Arhat Manifestation was ultimately an energy body. As long as there was sufficient energy and no special rules restricting it, it should be able to restore itself, right?

However, judging by Bryant James’ expression that looked like his father had died, this act of chopping off the arm must have been a substantial blow to the Arhat. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be so reluctant to strike.

One golden arm after another plummeted from the sky, slamming heavily onto the ground. Soon, the Eight-Armed Arhat turned into a One-Armed Arhat, left only with the arm gripping the huge axe.

This delay exacerbated the erosion by the Blood Mist, making the whole arm riddled with holes, its radiance dimmed; it looked as though it could dissipate at any moment, and the erosion was still spreading towards the shoulder.

With reddened eyes, Bryant James drove his Divine Swords into the air and then, carrying a mighty force, he directly chopped at the last arm.

"Boom!"

The last arm too crashed onto the ground, and the Arhat in the sky was now armless. Not only that, the once radiantly golden figure now looked dim, seemingly on the verge of dissolution.

Though the Arhat still towered at hundreds of meters, his now armless form seemed so downcast and ironically comical.

Bryant James nearly gnashed his teeth to pieces; he had never expected to be defeated by a mere Blood Mist.

This unsolvable Blood Mist!

Had he been prepared, of course, things might have been better, but everyone was in battle, vulnerable to unexpected strikes!

The only consolation was that the fire hadn’t burned him this time. Next time he faced Carson Flores, he would be ready and wouldn’t fall for his tricks again.

Collecting his Arhat, Bryant James’ face was ashen, his eyes seemingly aflame, "Do you realize you almost destroyed my Abnormal Phenomenon?"

Carson Flores nodded, "Is there a problem?"

Bryant James was stumped, indeed, what problem was there?

Everyone had agreed to fight till death, taking responsibility for the outcomes. Others had even warned him—it was his own insistence. So, whom could he blame now?

"You planned this from the start, didn’t you?"

Carson responded calmly, "What if I did? Compared to you trying to kill me, I’ve only temporarily ruined your Abnormal Phenomenon. That’s already quite merciful, Bryant James. I warn you, don’t bare your fangs at me again. Otherwise, next time what burns won’t just be your Abnormal Phenomenon, but your body and Primordial Spirit. Vanishing from both life and cultivation, your spirit annihilated completely."

Bryant James was so furious he almost spat blood— he had lost.

It wasn’t a loss of strength, but to underhanded tactics!

Bryant James clenched his teeth, unwilling to speak to Carson Flores any longer. Now, any word he uttered would just be a taunt from Carson.

The more he spoke, the more humiliating it got.

A winner reigns, a loser has no say.

Bryant James turned to the hall, "I’ve lost, send me away."

As soon as Bryant James finished speaking, a Light Gate appeared ahead.

"Victors stay, losers leave through the Light Gate."

Bryant James didn’t look at Carson again, took a reluctant glance at the hall that felt tantalizingly close, then lowered his gaze and stepped through that Light Gate.

His vision blurred, Bryant James felt himself being harshly thrown out, then tumbling downwards.

Stabilizing his form, Bryant James turned to see that he was now outside the Ghost Tower.

Looking at the Ghost Tower, his eyes brimmed with resentment.

Carson Flores, you’ve shamed me once again!

You must die!

If I can’t kill you openly, I’ll find someone to do it!

Regardless, you are merely at the Initial Spirit Transformation Stage—I do not believe you can guard against those formidable and elusive assassins!

While Bryant James thought bitterly about his revenge, an unrestrained, wild laughter suddenly erupted from below.

"Hahaha, Bryant James! Weren’t you so arrogant before, thinking the Ghost Tower belonged to you? How did you end up being eliminated, hahaha..."

Bryant James looked down to see Kash Lam standing on a large rock, his waist cocked as he laughed uncontrollably and mockingly.

Bryant James’s expression turned cold, and he was about to descend to teach Kash Lam a lesson. However, seeing countless Cultivators staring at him, he decided against it.

What would it matter if he beat Kash Lam?

It wouldn’t change the fact that he had been eliminated. More importantly, once Carson walked out of the tower and said that Bryant James was defeated by him, that would be even more humiliating.

Beating Carson Flores was impossible, so should he bully the relatively weaker Kash Lam?

Is this how the son of Kahdas acts, bullying the weak but fearing the strong?
