Chapter 1110: Chapter 1110: A Man Must Keep His Word

"When will you return to the Barbaric Wilderness Realm?"

"I still have some people to meet, and then I can head back, in about ten days or so, to let my mother spend more time with her family."

"Alright!"

"You don’t have to follow me, I’ll be back in two or three days."

"Okay!"

After Carson Flores had discussed everything with Cristopher Hopkins Immortal, he set forth the next day.

He first went to Seashore.

He had promised that once he had made something of himself, he would come back to see Camille Rhodes.

He needed to fulfill his promise and give Camille Rhodes a choice.

As Camille Rhodes drove out of the villa in a red sports car, she suddenly heard a cheerful male voice.

"Hey beautiful, need a ride?"

Camille instinctively turned her head and then let out a surprised scream, slamming on the brakes hard.

As the car stopped, Camille jumped out, rushing straight into Carson’s arms.

"Ah! You’re back!"

Carson embraced Camille’s soft body and laughed, "I’m back to visit family, so I wanted to see you."

Camille grabbed Carson’s head and firmly kissed him on the mouth.

"You bad guy, it’s been so many years since you left, and not a single message..."

Carson laughed, "Another world, it’s hard to get in touch, you know. Come on, let’s go have dinner!"

"Alright, you drive!"

Carson drove as Camille sat in the passenger seat, staring straight at Carson.

"You look no different, but your aura has changed a lot. You don’t have the same carefree vibe as before; you’re more composed now, like a successful man."

Carson just smiled, "These past years, I’ve been pushing myself, constantly striving. I can’t afford to slack off. Here, at most, they dock my salary, but over there, slacking could cost me my life."

The two arrived at a restaurant, and Carson lightly spoke of his past few years’ experiences, glossing over the difficult parts.

Camille listened intently, finally feeling genuinely happy for Carson: "You found your parents, and Mary and little Xi are with you too, that’s wonderful!"

Carson nodded, "What about you? How have these years been, have you married anyone?"

"What are you thinking?"

Camille glared at Carson playfully: "Even though you bad guy were gone, and you said there was no need to wait for you, after being with you, where could I find a man who could measure up?"

"With the Rhodes Family wealthy and influential, I don’t need to settle. Just staying single, although sometimes I really can’t sleep alone, when I think of you, I feel less empty inside..."

Carson smiled slightly, gazing into Camille’s eyes: "I once said if I ever made something of myself, I would come back to see you. Now, I give you a choice..."

"Would you give up everything here and come with me to another world?"

Camille asked in surprise, "You can bring people over there?"

Carson nodded, "I’m doing quite well now, and have that privilege."

Camille bit her lip, lowered her lashes, and after a long pause, she raised her head and smiled at Carson, tears streaming down her face.

"Thank you for still remembering this little sparrow even when you’re high up in the clouds, I’m truly touched!"

"But, I’ve gotten used to everything in this world, my family and friends are here, and I’m not as talented as Mary and little Xi, who can keep marching forward with you. If I went with you to that place, I’d just be holding you back."

"I don’t want that; I want us to be equals, happy, not a one-sided love of charity and giving, so... I won’t go!"

"I don’t want to be a lovelorn woman; I want to race cars, hit on men at bars, I..."

As Camille spoke, her tears flowed even more, "You stinker, if you were going to leave, why come back? With all those beautiful and powerful fairies by your side, why bother with me, why be so good?"

Carson pulled out a tissue, gently dabbing her tears dry.

"A man, when he says something, he must do it."

That night, Carson stayed in Seashore.

That night, sleepless.

In the morning, while Camille was still deep in sleep, Carson quietly left.

He left her a Space Ring and some elixirs, which could ensure she remained beautiful and healthy for a long, happy life.

Carson secretly visited the Miller Family, delivering medicine to the uncle who dearly loved Shirley Miller and had been persecuted for supporting her father. This medicine could help them stand back up and lead a normal life.

Carson arrived in Polgel and visited both Mr. Miller and the Gilliam couple. Having confirmed his relationships with their daughters, it was natural as their son-in-law and future son-in-law, to show his filial piety.

The Gilliam couple deliberated for a while and ultimately declined Carson’s invitation. They were quite content in this world and changing worlds might mean huge adjustments, too much for them, despite their longing for their daughter.

Even though they too missed their daughter, they didn’t have the courage to give up everything and adjust to a new world across realms.

Mr. Miller initially refused, not wanting to trouble Carson and Shirley, but he couldn’t resist Carson’s persuasion and ultimately agreed.

Mr. Miller differed from the Gilliam couple as he was old, alone, and his only concern was in the Barbaric Wilderness Realm, so it didn’t matter to him where he was.

Having managed Mr. Miller’s approval, Carson breathed a sigh of relief.

Mary in the Barbarian Wilderness must be delighted to see her grandfather!
