Chapter 1106: Chapter 1106: Berserk Outburst of the Berserk Art
Oh no!
Carson Flores’s heart sank. Before he could react, a giant tripod with three legs suddenly enlarged in the air and smashed down towards him, as fast as lightning.
Injured already, Carson was both controlling the Emperor Seal and the Water-Fire Mirror. He didn’t have time to divide his attention further to defend. He could only dodge with his head and let the giant tripod strike him.
The moment the tripod hit Carson, his purple robe burst into a fierce blaze of light.
Carson only felt as if a massive mountain brutally smashed onto his back. Everything went dark before his eyes, and he nearly passed out. His body smashed directly onto the ground, even shattering the ground beneath him.
The tripod flew up again, aiming for Carson in the pit to strike once more, but the Emperor Seal flew over and collided heavily with it.
The tripod was knocked off course, crashing into a wall of the great hall with a loud bang.
Carson staggered to his feet, blood pooling on the ground before him.
If it weren’t for Carson’s bones, having been toughened far beyond steel through various enhancements, even though the purple robe had absorbed at least half of the impact, this strike would have shattered his bones and killed him on the spot.
The Emperor Seal and the tripod continually collided in mid air, while the Primordial Spirits in the flames at the entrance rushed towards Carson, like Evil Ghosts.
However, before they could reach him, they suddenly let out a ghastly scream like a ghost’s howl, for the Blood Mist had begun to erode their Primordial Spirits.
The Primordial Spirits, surrounded by black auras like ghosts exposed to sunlight, screeched frenziedly. Yet, their spirits continued to melt like butter in a hot pan.
In the blink of an eye, the Primordial Spirits were completely eroded by the Blood Mist, turning into countless strands of black aura, sweeping everywhere and dissipating into the air.
In the sky above the hall, the towering figure’s eyes flickered with black aura, revealing unmistakable terror.
He stepped back, widening the gap from Carson and moving away from the flames, taking control of the tripod once again to smash it down on Carson.
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
The continuous, no-frills violent collisions dizzied Carson, making him spew blood continually, feeling as if his body was about to fall apart.
This guy was too strong!
His displayed strength definitely exceeded that of the Hollow Void Peak!
Two more hits like that, and he might be done for!
Carson wanted to run, but the flames filled with Red Blood Mist blocked his escape, the front was completely sealed by the opponent, and being in the center of the hall limited his movement, thoroughly suppressing him, making escape impossible.
Moreover, the barrier around Cristopher Hopkins Immortal was already changing color, evidently about to break soon. If he ran now, once the barrier broke, if this guy launched an attack on Cristopher Hopkins Immortal’s hair and destroyed it, wouldn’t that be the end?
Carson wasn’t sure if Cristopher Hopkins Immortal’s head was as powerful in combat as her arms, so he dared not gamble, since if the head was destroyed, there would be no hope for her revival.
Suddenly, the Berserk Art passed down from Erik Jackson flashed through Carson’s mind; he gritted his teeth, circulating his mental method, and an enormous, elusive aura permeated from him.
Just as the tripod smashed down again, a red light suddenly flashed over Carson’s body, transforming into an endlessly fierce aura that soared into the sky, his eyes turning blood-red, gleaming with endless ferocity.
His eyes fiercely fixed on the looming figure surrounded by black aura, like a tiger eying its prey.
The Emperor Seal suddenly enlarged several times, its speed drastically increasing, bringing with it a formidable aura as it slammed into the tripod.
"Bang!"
With a massive collision, the entire great hall shook violently, dust and smoke rising.
"Crack!"
A huge crack suddenly appeared on the tripod, and before it could fly back, the Emperor Seal, carrying a tremendous force, smashed against it again, its power vastly more than tenfold stronger than before.
In the violent collision, the crack on the tripod rapidly widened, then spread, covering the entire tripod.
"Crack!"
The tripod instantly shattered into countless pieces, flying in all directions.
The Primordial Spirit in the air intensified its fear, instinctively wanting to flee.
Carson cast a spell, and it landed directly on the Emperor Seal floating in the air.
"Clang!"
Like a giant bell being struck, its resonant sound echoed across the heavens and earth.
The figure in the air suddenly froze, black aura breaking off in large chunks.
Despite his efforts to maintain the black aura, it quickly dissipated, revealing his true form.
It was an elegant-looking middle-aged man, his body still slowly disintegrating, but his previously black-enshrouded eyes suddenly regained their clarity.
"Emperor Seal!"
"So, it is the Human Emperor himself..."
The middle-aged man’s eyes fell on Carson, and a mix of aged and bitter smiles emerged on his face.
"Your Excellency, Human Emperor, thank you. You have finally given us release..."
