Chapter 1101: Chapter 1101: Let’s not waste words, come on, kill me!

Avery Compton raged, "With what authority, you brat still wet behind the ears? You’ve been in the Cultivation Realm for a few years without knowing the vastness of heaven and earth, and you dare to spout such wild words!"

Carson Flores sighed, "I was still wondering why you guys had the guts to attack my aunt. Turns out, you don’t even recognize me..."

Carson Flores had attended gatherings in the Barbaric Wilderness and explored the True Dragon Secret Realm, exhibiting exceptional performance. Now, recognized by the Emperor Seal, he became the new Human Emperor. But the Barbaric Wilderness Realm was too vast, the Sects too large. Within a Sect of tens of thousands of people, how many had actually seen Carson Flores? And how many truly knew his story?

Perhaps those prodigies, Sect Masters, and Supreme Elders who had interacted with Carson could recognize him at a glance. But these people here were clearly not part of the Sect’s core. Even if they had vaguely heard Carson’s story, they likely had a muddied understanding.

The father of Emilio Compton and the individuals from the Eastern Peak Sanctuary of the Sacred Mountain weren’t aware which Blessed Land of Cave Heavens the person who killed his son had gone to, so naturally, they couldn’t connect this young man before them with the Human Emperor.

That day, as Elise Parry had said, it was Emilio Compton who had acted despicably and shamelessly. It was an affair they were too embarrassed to speak of and couldn’t use for revenge; otherwise, they would have no face to show in the Cultivation Realm.

That’s why they simply found an excuse to disable Leah Frost and vent their malice, claiming that a Mortal Realm Cultivator shouldn’t be involved.

Avery Compton sneered, "Go on, keep bluffing! What use is it for you, a mere mortal kid, to be formidable in the Mortal Realm? In just a few years’ time, can you really defy the heavens?"

Carson Flores grinned, "Let’s not waste words, come on, kill me!"

Carson’s arrogant words instantly sparked a flurry of discussion among the bystanders. After all, his composure was unusually, almost unnaturally, calm!

Anomalies breed monsters!

Avery Compton sneered and stepped forward, "Kid, you’re truly boundless in your arrogance. Let’s see what you’re capable of. Don’t worry, I won’t take your life. I’ll shatter your limbs so you can spend your life lying in a bed, unable to live properly or die!"

Carson Flores cracked a smile, "It seems we have different principles. For a scourge like you, I prefer to rid the world of the nuisance by killing it outright, sparing the trouble later!"

Avery Compton popped an elixir for himself. Seconds later, he released his Flying Sword, which zipped towards Carson Flores like lightning.

Carson Flores smiled faintly, "This scene feels so familiar. Emilio Compton did the same thing back in the day."

This statement only exacerbated Avery Compton’s irritation, making his Flying Sword fly even more fiercely.

Just as the Flying Sword was about to pierce Carson Flores’s body, Carson Flores suddenly reached out, seizing the Flying Sword right out of the air.

Everyone around was stunned. Was this kid out of his mind?

In this Mortal Realm, where Spiritual Energy was scarce, grabbing a Flying Sword with one’s hand was akin to courting death!

Carson Flores’s hand caught the Flying Sword.

The Flying Sword became motionless in Carson Flores’s grasp, as still and lifeless as a dead snake.

Every spectator’s eyes widened in disbelief at this spectacle.

This was the Mortal Realm!

Without an outburst of Spiritual Energy from Carson Flores, with just a simple grab, he managed to forcefully catch the extremely sharp and vigorously Spiritual Energy infused Flying Sword with his bare body!

Avery Compton stood there stunned, panic flashing in his eyes.

There’s something wrong with this kid!

But Carson Flores did not give him any time to react. Grasping the Flying Sword in his left hand, he charged forward like a cannonball.

Avery Compton’s pupils constricted as he flicked his wrist, throwing out a shield.

Carson Flores’s fist struck the shield cleanly, the brutal force sending it flying back to crash heavily into Avery Compton’s chest.

*’Crack!’*

Everyone heard the sound of Avery Compton’s chest bone fracturing. His chest caved in, and he was sent flying backward, smashing into the Barrier ahead, with blood spraying onto it.

Avery Compton was finished!

This thought flashed through everyone’s minds, but the situation was far from over.

Carson Flores slowly walked towards Avery Compton; Tomas Sanchez took a step sideways, blocking his path, his gaze wary as he looked at Carson, his expression grave.

"What do you intend to do?"

Carson Flores flashed a smile, but it carried a chilling murderous intent, "Of course, I intend to kill him. Emilio Compton wanted to kill me that day, so I killed him. Now Avery Compton didn’t come after me but bothered my family; naturally, I will kill him too... And by the way, does he have any fathers or brothers who wish to seek revenge for him?"

A chill ran down the spine of every onlooker; Carson Flores’s words had made it clear he was prepared to engage in a slaughter and root out the problem entirely!

Tomas Sanchez bellowed, "Aren’t you a bit too arrogant, acting like we don’t exist?"

Carson Flores stared at Tomas Sanchez and spoke indifferently, "Are you standing up for him? Or is it that the Eastern Peak Sanctuary wants to stand up for him?"

Carson Flores’s question was simple, yet the implication behind it was profound.

Be it you or the Eastern Peak Sanctuary, whoever stands up for him dies!

Tomas Sanchez’s expression changed subtly, "Who exactly are you?"
