Chapter 1016: Chapter 1016: Unless You Can Make a Heavenly Immortal Descend!
Carson Flores understood the origin of the first Human Emperor of the Emperor Clan, but still did not understand the origin of the Emperor Seal.
The memories it imparted to Carson were mostly about the deeds of past Human Emperors, yet there were no scenes of its own origin.
Controlling the Emperor Seal was not complicated—in fact, it was extremely simple.
The seal moved with the heart.
The stronger the Spiritual Energy infused by the Human Emperor, the greater the power the Emperor Seal could unleash.
The Emperor Seal hovered quietly above the palm of Carson’s hand.
Although it was his first time controlling the Emperor Seal, Carson felt an extremely familiar sensation.
Seeing this scene, the old woman burst into laughter, "Choosing its master? Haha, Emperor Seal, you realize the panic now, let me tell you, it’s too late!"
Carson remained silent, as Spiritual Energy insanely surged into the Emperor Seal.
The Emperor Seal rapidly ascended, swiftly transforming into the size of a small mountain, and then it violently smashed down toward the old woman.
The old woman floated up, while the Black Stone Coffin beneath her stood up, quickly enlarging and smashing directly towards the Emperor Seal.
"Boom!"
The ground cracked, and it seemed as if space itself was about to collapse and cave in from the impact.
Carson felt as if his head had been harshly struck, his vision darkened, feeling stars bursting in front of his eyes.
Although he had been spiritually connected with the Emperor Seal before, it was just a connection.
He could not control the Emperor Seal, and it was none of his concern how much attack the Emperor Seal received.
Now, however, it was different. His mind was linked with the Emperor Seal, and he could feel the impact it endured.
Of course, the impact felt was not 100%, but even if it was perhaps less than one percent of the intensity, it was still enough to severely affect Carson.
The Nascent Soul Realm was, after all, still too weak in power.
No matter how formidable his Sword Bone was, no matter if he could fight beyond his level, he was still in the Nascent Soul Realm, and the pressure he felt when facing an opponent who could completely overpower him was immensely huge.
The old woman sneered, "Kid, it hurts, doesn’t it? Being recognized by the Emperor Seal with such low strength is practically seeking death!"
Carson remained silent, continuing to control the Emperor Seal to smash the old woman, while shouting, "Fairy!"
The Emperor Seal could not suppress the old witch, which had already been proven in the underground tomb. To kill her, there was only one possibility.
Cristopher Hopkins’ intervention, together with the Emperor Seal!
Hearing Carson’s shouting, the old woman paused slightly, her expression showing a trace of confusion.
Fairy?
Who was he calling?
Were there other people here?
The old woman’s Primordial Spirit swept the surroundings and detected no hidden cultivators, she then sneered, "Fairy? You must be dreaming. Today no one can save you, unless you can summon a Heavenly Immortal!"
"Boom!"
The Emperor Seal smashed down again, the Black Stone Coffin met it head on, and the two collided violently.
Carson spat out a mouthful of blood, but the old woman also suffered, her face distorted severely like kneaded dough, looking bizarre and grotesque.
At that instant, Carson felt a sudden lightness on his shoulder.
The arm of Cristopher Hopkins’ Immortal suddenly moved.
It appeared directly in front of the old woman, her fist clenched, punching out.
The old woman, seeing the suddenly appearing arm, widened her eyes in unbelievable terror.
A single arm, capable of independent attack?
This strike was so powerful that it instilled fear in her!
She couldn’t catch it!
This punch was enough to shatter her into pieces!
The old woman retreated sharply, slapping her palm on the nearby Black Stone Coffin.
The Black Stone Coffin suddenly brightened enormously, tipping over directly in front of the old woman and blocking the path of Cristopher’s arm.
"Boom!"
The Black Stone Coffin, capable of withstanding the Emperor Seal, was shattered by Cristopher’s punch. It flew back, striking the old woman’s chest with massive force.
"Crack!"
The bones in the old woman’s chest shattered completely, the bones jabbing back into her organs, creating a huge dent in her chest.
The old woman spat out blood, her eyes filled with death. She ignored the Black Stone Coffin and started to flee.
Carson was prepared. The Emperor Seal trembled suddenly, and a terrifying pulse instantly hit the fleeing old woman!
The old woman clapped her hands, and then, silently, her hands disintegrated into dust in an instant. Her body also collapsed again, her bones completely shattered, her tendons all severed.
The old woman’s Primordial Spirit whisked out from her damaged body, transforming into a beam of light, instantly fleeing far away.
Cristopher’s arm pointed in the air, and the old woman’s Primordial Spirit let out a miserable scream. Originally solid and condensed, the Primordial Spirit was almost vanquished by this strike; though it narrowly escaped, it was already severely wounded, almost completely disintegrating.
Suddenly, as if ignited in golden flames, the Primordial Spirit sped away like a nitrous-oxide-boosted racing car, vanishing in the blink of an eye on the horizon.
Carson could not pursue quickly enough, his mood a mixture of excitement and regret at that moment.
Just a bit more!
Just a bit more and he could have completely annihilated the old witch, yet she still managed to escape!
Fortunately, Lilianna Norman was still in his grasp. With the old witch’s Primordial Spirit so gravely damaged, and her body left here, she probably wouldn’t live much longer, right?
