Chapter 1014: Chapter 1014: This is Full of Security Sense
At that moment, Carson Flores was filled with gratitude toward Cristopher Hopkins Immortal!
He had been through many dangers, even moments of life and death, but never once had he felt such instinctual fear as he did in this place.
A pale hand swatted away the attacking monster, hovered in front of Carson, clenched into a fist, and then extended its index finger, pointing forward.
The hand swiftly flew forward, and Carson dared not use the Ground Shrinking Technique anymore, so he just closely followed the hand as it sped along.
In the black fog, enormous objects approached and launched attacks on the two of them, but the white arm casually swatted these huge objects away and then swiftly swept past them.
Carson, following behind the hand, was immensely shocked.
Since he didn’t need to worry about being attacked, he had more time to observe the attackers; he noted that all these attackers were actually lifeless!
Whether it was the three-meter tall giants covered in dense fur or the giant birds flying in the sky and various fierce beasts on the ground, all were dead bodies beyond the possibility of death!
They had no temperature, no heartbeat, and their bodies were tattered but, they could still launch the most violent and fierce attacks!
Carson even recognized two types of the attacking demonic beasts; they were species that existed only in ancient times and had long since been extinct.
Eternal Tombfield!
Carson thought of the name of this place again and finally understood the true meaning of this name.
This was the graveyard of creatures from eons past!
These creatures had been dead for who knows how long, but in this special environment, they moved like the walking dead, still retaining their instinct to attack prey from when they were alive.
They would attack anyone who entered the black fog, who entered the Eternal Tombfield!
With so many terrifying beings, no wonder this place was called a Forbidden Land. If it weren’t for a powerful being like Cristopher Hopkins Immortal, who could withstand their crazy attacks?
Certainly, Carson suddenly realized, Valley of Death held Immortal Slaves, had Undead Guards, the Eternal Tombfield held the bodies of powerful ancient creatures, clearly superior to those in Hollow Void Realm, no wonder no one dared to enter this place.
If even Hollow Void could not withstand it, who could enter, and not die?
Considering this, new doubts involuntarily emerged in Carson’s mind.
As one of the Forbidden Lands, Harmony Hollow didn’t seem to harbor any powerful entities beyond the Great Perfection of Hollow Void. Perhaps, Harmony Hollow was labeled as a Forbidden Land because of its irresistible deadly poison?
Barbarian Wilderness had Six Great Forbidden Lands, Carson had already been to three, what about the other three?
Carson vaguely felt that many of this world’s secrets seemed to be related to the Forbidden Lands.
For instance, the Tomb of the Demon Emperor, the graveyard of ancient creatures, or the suppressed Immortal’s Arm, guards of the Immortal Slaves...
At this thought, Carson suddenly wondered if Cristopher Hopkins’s arm had been suppressed in Valley of Death, then perhaps other parts of her body might also be suppressed in the other Forbidden Lands?
Each body part corresponding to a Forbidden Land?
Carson considered it but quickly felt it was not very reliable, as he roughly knew the different times when the Six Great Forbidden Lands had formed. Valley of Death was formed due to Cristopher Hopkins being killed, but other Forbidden Lands had been formed later than Valley of Death, so this theory seemed unlikely.
With these chaotic thoughts, Carson suddenly saw a light in front of him.
The black fog was thinning.
The sunlight was faintly permeating through.
Carson, jubilant, charged out!
Cristopher Hopkins’s arm landed on Carson’s shoulder, and at that moment, Carson felt that having a hand rest on his shoulder no longer felt eerie but gave a sense of immense security.
This was his strong backing!
Carson continued to rush forward, and soon, the black fog completely disappeared, and everything outside became clear.
Carson stopped, looked back at the misty distance, and felt a lingering fear in his heart.
If it hadn’t been for Cristopher Hopkins Immortal finding him at the crucial moment and forcefully leading him out, today, he most likely would have been buried in the Eternal Tombfield.
Too terrifying!
Carson looked around and felt a surge of hope in his heart.
The old witch had been desperately chasing him the whole time. Had she also chased deep into the tombfield?
If so, she definitely encountered those incredibly fierce ancient creatures as well, and no matter how powerful she was, she could fend off one, but surely not a swarm!
She might already be done for?
At this thought, Carson’s mood immediately became delightful. He set down Lilianna Norman, who he had been carrying. After such a frantic run, the weak-willed fairy had long passed out.
Carson took out a cup of Spiritual Spring, pried open her mouth, and poured it down her throat, along with an elixir.
She had lost a lot of blood and was weak, the elixir sustained her life. To recover, she would still need some time to recuperate, but at least Carson’s action had saved her from immediate death.
As Carson pondered where to go next, a shadow suddenly burst out of the black fog.
Carson turned his head and his face changed drastically.
Black Stone Coffin!
Damn, the old witch hasn’t died yet? She’s also burst out?
