The bizarre scene left Chu Yi lost in thought.

He glanced at the two people emerging from the corner. They could block his perception, indicating their strength was certainly not weak.

Could it be... they are the Evil God Cultists, and I’ve released the demon god, so they’ve mistakenly identified me as a high-ranking figure in their church?

Chu Yi’s mind raced, considering using the Power of the Demon God to kill them and ensure their silence.

However, his left hand turned dark red, and a faint red glow emerged. Veins bulged, and countless fine muscle tendrils burst forth like writhing tentacles.

More terrifyingly, it felt as if insects were crawling in his blood, sending a chill down Chu Yi’s spine. He immediately checked the erosion rate.

[Current Erosion Rate]: 35%

Once the erosion rate reached 100%, the seal would break, and Chu Yi would meet a disastrous end.

Worse still, the released demon god could be molded into various shapes, turning him into a weapon to be brutally ravaged.

Suddenly, he understood why the judgment for [Ghost Slash] took so long; the demon god was deliberately using this rule to increase the erosion rate!

Killing the Silver-ranked Zhang Heng had increased it by one-third.

If he slew these two Evil God Cultists, who were no weaker than Zhang Heng, wouldn’t it spike to 100%?

Damn it, are you screwing me over!?

Killing them for silence is out of the question, but I can use this identity to extract some benefits, Chu Yi’s eyes flickered as he thought to himself.

The outlined nebula was as resplendent as fiery trees and silver blossoms.

The atmosphere suddenly grew much heavier.

Seeing the revered one remain silent, the two Evil God Cultists could only bow their heads, their faces nearly buried in the dirt.

Not good! The leader’s heart sank.

He snapped out of his frenzied state, a trace of fear creeping into his heart.

The revered one must be displeased with my interference in handling the Moon Worship Wolf King, hence this cold attitude.

Thinking of this, he wished he could slap himself.

Disturbing the blood feast hosted by the revered one is a crime punishable by ten thousand deaths.

"Get up," Chu Yi said coldly.

As the two looked up in joyful surprise, they saw the massive shadow behind Chu Yi slowly receding.

The eye of the blood moon emitted an eerie light before closing. The shadow, like myriad tentacles, slowly writhed and retracted into Chu Yi’s clothes, then flowed onto a dark red palm.

Chu Yi stood with his hands behind his back, concealing the mark that had appeared on his left hand.

Compared to before its liberation, the Star Track Mark now had a broken corner, and the faint Starfire had dimmed, signifying that the seal had weakened.

"WHINE. WHINE."

Bika squatted by Chu Yi’s trouser leg, wagging its tail and baring its teeth at the two cultists.

Before the two could speak, Chu Yi said calmly, "Shh, don’t disturb my meal."

BOOM—

Under the puzzled gazes of the two, faint wisps of light, as weak as pollen grains, floated up from the surrounding corpses.

And from the shattered body of the Moon Worship Wolf King, a bright mote of firefly light flew out and was devoured by Chu Yi.

This was the soul of a War General-level Pet Beast, at least level 30 or higher!

In the air, a beast-like munching sound echoed.

Ghost Hand feasted heartily, wolfing down its meal.

His level soared as if on a rocket, reaching Stage Two, Rank Six!

The upgrade of the Deceit Beast also propelled Chu Yi’s cultivation.

The pure gray Spiritual Energy began to boil, as if being stewed.

After an unknown amount of time, a hint of copper appeared within the boiling Spiritual Energy. Then, like a drop of ink dyeing an entire bathtub, all his Spiritual Energy contracted, refining into a Red Copper color.

Excess gray impurities, along with waste expelled from his body, were purified away.

Red Copper Rank One!

Witnessing this, the two exchanged a shocked glance.

The vessel inhabited by the revered one had, on the second day of his arrival, leaped from an ordinary person with no Beast Taming aptitude to a Red Copper Beast Tamer!

What terrifying speed!

The gray-robed man, who had harbored some doubts about the leader and the church, finally believed in the revered one’s descent and the revival of their church, all doubts dispelled.

At this time, the majestic revered one spoke again.

"It’s too wasteful to abandon the bodies to the wilderness. Let them be turned into collectibles."

Chu Yi snapped his fingers.

In his mind, myriad shadows stirred, and an indescribable hand of flesh and blood, following the player’s command, began to extract materials.

The night was deep, and leaves swayed gently.

An invisible Mysterious Power caused the pupils of the two cultists to contract sharply. They sensed an extremely terrifying threat; a moment of carelessness, and their heads would be severed.

[Spirit Core *8]

[Tender Loin *2]

[Glossy Drumstick *1]

[Peeled Field Frog *1]

[Broken Bear Paw *1]

...

Rows of information flooded his mind, constantly refreshing.

Among them were various recipes for a feast: braising, stewing in red sauce, juicing, barbecuing...

All-encompassing and endlessly varied.

What was extracted from the Beast Tamers’ corpses were Spirit Cores, which condensed their remaining Spiritual Energy, categorized by its amount.

Ordinary ones were only the size of a grain of rice.

For someone like Zhang Heng, a Silver Beast Tamer, the Spirit Core was the size of a pigeon’s egg.

Opportunity and danger were intrinsically linked.

The harvest was bountiful!

So even human Beast Tamers can have materials extracted from their remains, but it’s related to Spiritual Energy, Chu Yi felt secretly relieved. If an organ part from a human body were extracted to make a feast, I would find it hard to stomach; I’d likely discard it immediately.

Stealing a glance at the Evil God Cultists, he saw they were in a daze.

Little did they know, Chu Yi’s act of extracting materials had once again stunned them.

The revered one had yet another skill in his arsenal, deepening their reverence for Chu Yi.

"O revered one, your humble and devout servants beseech you to end this ignorant, chaotic world and usher in the era of your dominion over all things!" the leader prayed loudly, his devotion absolute.

The gray-robed man beside him quickly followed, reciting their doctrine.

Gray Mist Sect!

The Evil God Sect was divided into various factions based on the different deities they worshipped, each with its own doctrines.

The Gray Mist Sect worshipped the Master of Grey Mist.

The Master of the Source of Grey Mist, Observer of the Universe, Ghost wandering beyond dimensions...

Chu Yi was dumbfounded by this string of titles.

However, this did not affect Chu Yi’s posturing.

"That is a matter of course," Chu Yi said indifferently. "However, having just arrived in this world, my power has been greatly depleted. I need some time to recover."

"Understood." The leader nodded and bowed. "The revered one requires a large number of souls. I will contact the Bishop immediately and have your devout servants do their utmost to serve you."

Upon hearing this, Chu Yi glanced at him and nodded. "Very well."

After a pause, Chu Yi shifted the topic, looking at the corpses strewn on the ground, and said, "I have arrangements in Yaoguang City. For now, I do not wish for my identity to be exposed."

As he spoke, his eyes radiated a Divine light, making it impossible for others to resist meeting his beautiful gaze, inevitably sinking into them.

The leader was startled and hesitated before saying, "O revered one, within the church, there is a Dawn Star-rank High Priest, four Gold Bishops, and over ten thousand peripheral followers who can ensure your safety. Why not relocate to our headquarters?"

At these words, the atmosphere instantly turned frigid.

Chu Yi stared at him coldly. "Are you questioning my decision?"

"GASP..." The leader’s heart leaped in fright. "No, no! Your servant, as humble as dust, would never dare to question your great decision!"

The leader jolted. He has arrangements in Yaoguang City, yet he’s unwilling to develop cautiously under the church’s protection. Could it be... the revered one plans to massacre the city!!! To slaughter everyone in Yaoguang City until darkness falls and blood flows like rivers—that’s millions of souls! Though the church is safe, it’s under constant pressure from the Federation against the Evil God Sect, not daring to act openly. But the revered one is wise and formidable, unfathomable, lurking within the Federation, scheming a grand plan to shock the world!

At this thought, the leader trembled, his limbs quaking.

Not from fear, but from an excitement that was exploding within him!! So excited that his head felt like it was splitting into twelve pieces again!

Chu Yi: !!!

Bika looked completely aghast.
