Chapter 1861: New Prima Deities of the Scarlet Path

Silence reigned for a long moment before a voice echoed through the skies.

“I will.”

Once more, the one who spoke was none other than Pation, the crimson-skinned Inferno Daemon. Surprise flickered in the eyes of many as they turned toward him. Unlike Alucard, whose declaration had been filled with conviction and emotional purpose, there was something different about Pation’s choice—something colder, more calculated.

Even Cain couldn’t help but glance at the man with interest. The Flow revealed no falsehood or deceit behind Pation’s words, so Cain didn’t sense a trap. Still, it was unexpected.

Pation offered a small, almost sardonic smile as he locked eyes with Cain, then let out a soft sigh.

“If I’m being honest,” he began, his deep voice calm but resonant, “I couldn’t care less about erasing the racial boundaries of the world, or healing the ancient hatred that’s lingered for billions of years. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s stupid to hate someone just because you’re told to—but I don’t particularly care about fixing it either.”

He paused, trying to read Cain’s eyes, to decipher the intent behind the Scarlet King’s aura. But nothing came through. While Cain could peer directly into his soul, the reverse was not true. Pation saw only calm focus, so he chose to carry on, revealing the intentions inside his heart with absolute honesty.

“Those who join a revolution in its early stages are the ones who risk the most. Many are crushed before the dream even has a chance to breathe,” he continued. “But if the revolution survives, if it rises… those who stood at its foundation reap the greatest rewards and ascend to heights they never imagined possible.”

Truth and honesty glowed in Pation’s eyes as he went on, his voice gaining strength.

“My path could be considered glorious. I had a clear trajectory—many believed I would reach Peak Prima Deity in time. And maybe I could. But that would be the end of it. No further growth. No true evolution. And that… I refuse.”

A fire blazed in Pation’s eyes as his words rang across the battlefield. Determination finally hardened within him. He hadn’t chosen to follow Cain for ideals or justice—he had chosen to break free of the limitations destiny had laid before him. He sought power. Evolution. Transcendence.

Cain studied him for a moment longer before a wide, radiant smile spread across his face. The Scarlet King was no saint—far from it. Calling him a monster wouldn’t have been inaccurate. So if someone chose to follow him not out of virtue, but out of ambition… that suited him just fine.

“I accept your path,” Cain said. “And as long as you prove your value, I will do everything in my power to refine your talent and let you rise without limits, breaking the chains of fate.”

Pation’s expression tightened with resolve. He stepped forward, then lowered to one knee midair, bowing deeply toward Cain.

“Hail the Scarlet King!”

The declaration rang with raw power and sincerity.

Not even a second later, two more Prima Deities followed. One resembled a noble youth of the Godslayer Human lineage, while the other was a towering draconic Dues Behemoth. They were Lancer and Karter, part of the Gu Sect just like Pation.

The Gu Sect had long been branded one of the most treacherous and backstabbing organizations in the Everstrife Empyrean World. And yet, before the eyes of all, they chose to risk death and betrayal charges to stand behind the Scarlet King.

The motivations of the duo were not so different from Pation’s. Yet deep within their hearts, something else stirred. Neither of them could pinpoint the moment it changed—perhaps it had begun from the first time they’d encountered Cain—but something about him had touched them. Inspired them. His unwavering will, his boundless vision, and his fearlessness had set their ambition aflame. The petty divisions and suspicions they once clung to faded like mist under the sun.

It was dangerous. The chance of death was immense. But the opportunity to follow a path that transcended all known limits?

It was worth it.

“Hail the Scarlet King!” the two roared together, their voices echoing across the realm.

Cain’s smile grew even wider as he watched the trio join Alucard behind him. His gaze then swept across the rest of the Prima Deities still hovering in the sky. After a moment, he sighed and shrugged his shoulders.

It was clear now: only Alucard, Pation, Lancer, and Karter were ready to take that leap. The others remained paralyzed by fear—afraid of Divine Calamity’s wrath, afraid of the world’s judgment, and even more afraid of staking their fate on a path so uncertain.

Through The Flow, Cain could see the truth in their hearts. Some were not even rejecting him outright. They were merely waiting—watching, hoping to see the outcome of his upcoming clash with Divine Calamity before making a decision. Cowards, perhaps, but practical.

Cain didn’t waste more thought on them. Instead, he gestured for Alucard and the Gu Sect trio to fall in behind him, publicly confirming their allegiance.

With a simple wave of his hand, he turned toward the other Prima Deities. Utilizing the overwhelming sealing power of his Inner Universe and the authority of his Ego Wave, he placed invisible, binding seals upon each of them. Their energy, their spiritual force, even their physical vitality—locked. They could still move, still speak, but their offensive power was so diminished, they wouldn’t even be a threat to a Divine Transcendence Master.

With that handled, Cain finally turned his attention to the battlefield below—where Divine Masters still lingered, spared from the Scarlet Path’s earlier carnage.

His voice cut through the air, sharp and commanding.

“You should leave. Return to your continents or find safety elsewhere in Endlessdeath. Unless, of course…” Cain’s golden eyes gleamed with warning. “…you wish to die as collateral damage in my battle with Divine Calamity.”

The Divine Masters did not need to be told twice. The moment his words fell, they scrambled.
