That night Cian really didn’t get a wink of sleep, because he was making too much noise, Bree who has gotten a surge of courage after seeing him sneak out of the palace, stuffed his mouth with a handkerchief. Though the handkerchief was clean and it didn’t smell at all, Cian felt like he was being suffocated with a handkerchief that was made out of a skunk ass—— he, the ace assassin, fourth consort of the Queen and the prince of the Bellion Empire was tied, gagged and left to flop on the bed like a fish out of water. Such a humiliation! He wouldn’t be able to say a word about it to the outside world!

Throughout the entire night, Cian felt like his ego and self-esteem was being crumbled bit by bit. He tried to break the cuffs but in the end, no matter how much he tried, he couldn’t break the shifter-resistant cuffs and his anger that was already at peak point exploded as soon as the first ray of sunshine shone in the room.

Just wait, just you wait Dominic, I will beat your pretty mug so hard that it will start resembling a pig!

Furious at his condition, Cian swore in his head before turning to look at Bree who was sleeping next to him with a peaceful expression and his eyes started to flare up with determination. ’Very good my queen, you better not let me get my hands on you, or you will be screaming nothing but my name for the next few days!’

Bree didn’t know that she has gotten herself into trouble —— well, scratch that, she knew that she was in trouble but it was worth the fun that she had, after all, how many times she will get a chance to gag and tie her mate up? And Cian’s expression which was full of shock and disbelief was good enough to make her feel real good!

Thus, Bree slept very peacefully despite Cian’s thrashing on the bed. When she opened her eyes and stretched her arms, Bree felt really refreshed and why wouldn’t she? She bullied her bully, it was a feeling quite similar to winning the world!

" Good morning," she greeted sweetly as she looked at Cian who was wide awake and was staring at her with a promise of retaliation in his eyes. She smiled and poked his cheek which was puffed up with anger as he made muffled groans. " Don’t be like that didn’t you say that you wanted to do what I did with the second consort, I just did what you asked."

Cian’s eyebrows scrunched up in confusion before he realised what Bree was talking about and his eyes widened in surprise.

" Now, have you realised what happened between the second consort and I?" asked Bree retraction her hand back and placing it on her lap.

Cian nodded his head with squinted eyes. ’ So this was what happened between that bastard and the Queen yet he made it sound so ambiguous and made him jealous for like at least a week! That monkey ass bastard!’

Bree’s mouth twisted as she got off the bed and then looked at Cian who was still tied. " I will get ready for the court, as well." Then she swaggered to the bathroom giving Cian a complete view of her heart-shaped butt that was quite visible in that lacy lingerie—— Cian took one look and let his head fall back with a groan.

He was fooled and in a way that he will remember it for a century!

Bree came out of the bathroom after she was done changing her clothes, now dressed in an ivory ankle-length dress she headed towards the door of the room, seeing that she was leaving without untying him, Cian flopped even more wildly and only then did Bree paused and clapped her hands as if just realising that he was still there.

" I am so sorry, I completely forgot!" She exclaimed as she headed back to the bed and Cian heaved a sigh of relief but before he could even relax completely, he felt the Queen unsheathe her claws causing him to stiffen. He tried to retreat but the Queen clasped his wrists and smiled teasingly, " Now, Now ...since you wanted to act, we might as well act till the end."

After that, she shredded his clothes and covered him up with a blanket and throughout the time her gaze was on his face, not once did she look down at his body.

" I will send Jesse to help you," said Bree as she straightened up and smiled at Cian who was staring at her in shock. He shook his head but that only made her smile widen as she stepped away from the bed and walked out of the room, Cian wished... no, he prayed to whoever was sitting on the throne of the celestial throne to stop the Queen from turning him into a butt of everyone’s conversation but maybe it was his fault for never praying sincerely to the one above in the sky that his prayers were unanswered.

He closed his eyes when Bree walked out of the room and called for Jesse.

One day...One day he was going to pay her back and unlike her who just ’acted’, he will do the real deal!

Bree could feel the glare that was pointed to the back of her head and pressed her lips down, she knew that she might have teased someone who should have never been teased but honestly, Cian was asking for it.

She might not be from this world but Saphira was and she wasn’t happy when Cian tried to exert his dominance over her. So, of course, Bree has to do something that will tell him to respect her a little more instead of treating her like she was someone he could suppress.

Jesse who was on guard last night immediately rushed towards the Queen after hearing her call and came to a stop in front of her with a polite smile on his face. " How may I help you, your majesty?"

" Go and help, your master .... He might really need it."
