Chapter 329: Favourite Spots
"We should leave now." Draco’s voice echoed behind as he approached her.
"Hm." She nodded weakly as she gave one last glance at the unconscious girl, her heart tearing apart as she squeezed her cold hands gently, as if passing on some sort of assurance.
As Draco pulled her away from the eerie vicinity, her mind constantly wandered to the girl’s plight, Malika. That name, whenever mentioned or she thought about it, it teetered on the fringes of her memories, so delicate and familiar, she could almost point her fingers on the vague memories but she couldn’t.
As they walked down the hallway, Draco broke her out of her reverie "Did you remember her, Or were your memories triggered in any way?" He asked, his voice coated with curiosity and a slight mix of impatience.
"I couldn’t remember her yet but, I felt it, I knew how much she meant to me, how special she was in my life but I couldn’t remember, it was an incomplete feeling, like an unfinished sketch, colorless and undefined." Her words resonated with uncertainty.
She hated the constant unease and apprehension that tugged at her insides after losing her memories. She felt like she was being trapped in oblivion, it was unsettling and she felt helpless, sorely helpless that it was excruciatingly painful.
"It’s alright, with time you’ll remember everything." Draco encouraged with a sweet voice as he rubbed her arms assuringly.
She gave him a small smile as she nodded, and the light of hope in her eyes that were already becoming dulled out was being rekindled by his assuring words and confidence.
"Do you remember your favorite spots in the castle?" Draco queried.
"I don’t...remember." She said hesitantly, with a mask of confusion on her face.
"You don’t need to remember, just guess based on your favorite thing or perhaps, hobby." He said.
"Okay then, maybe...the garden?" She said, her words coming out doubtful, but she was certain she loved the garden, the rose garden to be specific.
"It’s our private garden and also, the painting room." He stated.
"A painting room?" She murmured to herself thoughtfully as the thought never came to her that one of her favorite spots in the castle would be a painting room.
"Yes love, but we’ll take a first stop to the garden." He said and she nodded excitedly as she linked arms with him while he led her to the private garden which was situated from the eyes of others.
Entering through a small door in the corner of a dark corridor, they emerged outside to the back of the castle.
The sun, a radiant sphere of gold, painted the canvas of the sky in a brilliant blue. Rama’s eyes, as deep and captivating as the night, reflected the celestial beauty overhead as she lay on the grass with Draco. His demonic features softened in the warm sunlight, revealing an unexpected tenderness in his crimson eyes.
As they cuddled in the embrace of the plush grass, an aura of serenity enveloped them. The garden seemed to echo with the gentle whispers of the wind. Rama’s fingers delicately traced patterns on Draco’s gleaming pale skin, and he responded with a low, contented purr that resonated with the quietude of their surroundings.
The scent of exotic blossoms wafted through the air, a fragrant symphony that added to the enchantment of their private retreat.
The petals of mystical flowers, in hues unknown to the mortal realm, danced in harmony with the soft breeze, creating a kaleidoscope of colors around the couple.
Their gazes were locked not only with each other but with the clear, vivid neon sky above. The clear sky held the promise of endless possibilities, mirroring the vastness of the emotions that swirled between Rama and Draco. A dragonfly, its wings shimmering like iridescent jewels, flitted gracefully around them, a fleeting visitor to their haven.
The tranquility of the garden amplified the subtleties of their connection.
The weight of their responsibilities and the challenges of their fantastical world melted away, leaving only the profound connection between them.
The sun, a molten orb of gold, dipped toward the horizon, casting a warm glow across the garden. Rama’s expressive eyes, the color of twilight, met Draco’s crimson gaze in a silent exchange. The hues of the sky seemed to blend seamlessly with the emotions that danced within the depth of their connection.
As they lay on the plush grass, a tranquil silence enveloped them, broken only by the gentle rustle of leaves and the distant melodies of magical creatures.
Rama’s fingers traced idle patterns on Draco’s silvery skin, and he, in turn, responded to the intimate touch with a soft, contented groan. The garden, a haven untouched by the chaos beyond its borders, cradled them in a cocoon of serene quietude.
The air carried the fragrance of exotic blossoms, a subtle perfume that enhanced the enchantment of their haven. Mystical flowers, their petals radiating colors unknown to the mortal realm, swayed in harmony with the rhythm of the breeze. Each blossom seemed to echo the unspoken emotions that permeated the air, creating a symphony of feelings that needed no words.
Rama’s pleased sigh, a melodic sound that resonated with the joy of shared moments, blended seamlessly with the ambient sounds of nature.
Draco, usually marked by a stoic demeanor, found himself enchanted by the genuine mirth that flowed from her at his side. His features softened, revealing a vulnerability that mirrored the delicate balance of their world.
Their gazes lingered on the canvas of the sky, where hues of orange and pink painted a breathtaking tableau.
The sun, now a fiery ball sinking below the horizon, cast long shadows across the garden. In the warm embrace of twilight, Rama and Draco shared a comfortable silence, a language born of mutual understanding and unspoken affections.
The quietude of their surroundings amplified the intimacy of their connection. Amidst the rustling leaves and the ethereal glow of the fading day, Rama and Draco reveled in the beauty of shared moments.
Her head rested against his chest, where the steady rhythm of his heartbeat echoed the stability he provided in a world often filled with uncertainty.
As darkness slowly descended, stars emerged, casting a celestial glow upon the garden.
The golden sun, now beginning its descent, cast long shadows across the garden. Rama and Draco, still entwined in each other’s arms, watched as the sky transformed into a canvas of oranges and pinks.
The air shimmered with an ethereal glow, encapsulating the beauty of their love against the backdrop of the celestial spectacle.
The plush grass beneath them felt like a luxurious carpet as they lay side by side, gazing up at the moonlit sky. The moon cast a silvery glow, painting their surroundings in an ethereal light.
Draco, extended his strong yet gentle arms around Rama, drawing her closer. His touch was warm, comforting, and contrasted with the cool night air. Rama, with an air of innocence, snuggled against Draco, feeling the warmth of his presence.
As they lay there, Draco’s eyes, ember-like and captivating, fixated on Rama with an intensity that seemed to pierce through the darkness. His gaze held a hypnotic power, drawing her into a world where only the two of them existed. Rama, captivated by the depth of his fiery eyes, found herself lost in the moment, a moment suspended in time.
In that serene silence, Draco’s hand gently cupped Rama’s cheek, his touch leaving a trail of warmth. The moonlight highlighted the contours of his features, casting shadows that danced along his demonically handsome face. Rama, feeling the tenderness of his touch, met his gaze with a mixture of curiosity and anticipation.
Without breaking eye contact, Draco leaned in, his lips brushing against Rama’s with a delicate touch. The kiss was soft and tender, a gesture that conveyed more than words ever could. Time seemed to stand still as they shared this intimate connection under the enchanting moonlight.
As he pulled back, a faint smile played on his lips. Rama, her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue, met his gaze once again. The vulnerability in Draco’s eyes spoke of a love that transcended the boundaries of their fantastical world. It was a love that defied expectations, a love that went beyond the superficial differences between them.
In that sacred moment, Draco’s voice, deep and sincere, resonated in the still night air. "I love you," he uttered, his words carrying the weight of his emotions. The sincerity echoed through the grove, intertwining with the rustling leaves and the distant melody of crickets. Rama, flustered by the depth of his confession, felt her heart swell with a mixture of joy and vulnerability.
Draco’s fiery ember eyes bore into hers, a blazing passion that mirrored the intensity of their connection. In those moments, the world outside their embrace ceased to exist.
As they lay there, embraced by the tranquility of the night, Rama and Draco discovered a profound connection that transcended the boundaries of their respective worlds.
