The Devil's Warrior Queen
Chapter 269: An Obscure World

Chapter 269: An Obscure World

Rama was in disarray about the silver haired woman and her enigmatic question, but when she pressed subtle thoughts on it, she truly had not a hint of idea who she was.

Tilting her head to the side, her jade eyes gleamed with curiosity and confusion as she asked "Who am I?"

She saw a pitiful smile tug the silver-headed woman’s lips as she spoke "Everything will be fine, just relax."

The silver head gestured for her to sit on a white cushion, which she reluctantly accepted as she walked meekly and then sat down.

She had a train of thoughts running through her head, like who and what the silver-headed woman was. She was most definitely not human, her features and aura screamed esoteric.

Also, she was curious about where she was, what happened to her, and most importantly who she was. Her thoughts were averted when she saw the mysterious woman move to a cushion as she sat down opposite her. Every action of hers carried with it an elegance that belied human logic, she was simply ethereal.

Her glittery, silver eyes mirrored her curious jade ones as they stared at each other in utter silence for a few moments as if weighing the situation at hand, after all the situation was quite intriguing.

Rama was in a disoriented state, she had no idea who she was or who the mysterious silver head was, but as strange as it was to her, she felt a sense of solace and trust in the silver head even though she had no logical explanation of what had transpired.

She would have been panicking from the bewildering occurrence that was going on and the mysterious situation that left her pondering on everything, but weirdly, the air around her spurred a sense of solace and comfort, so she was rather calm even in her oblivious state of mind.

"Can you please explain to me what happened? Do you know me? Who..or what are you?" Rama suddenly blurted out her questions, unable to suppress the pricking intrigue any longer.

Her doe eyes silently pleaded with the silver head to give her an answer of who she was and what induced this uncanny state of oblivion in her, because one couldn’t just wake up and lose their memories, and as she pressed more thoughts on it, nothing could make sense to her unless she heard the truth.

The silver headed woman sighed softly before finally proceeding to speak, although Rama observed how slightly edgy she was. As much as she tried to act calm, her unease couldn’t be concealed from her under that tranquil facade and the fact she was tense, made Rama equally wary of what she was about to say.

"I’m the silver witch queen of the white witches, but you can call me Lady Aurora." The Silver head spoke, rather than with an air of authority to announce her title, her tone was neutral, almost uncaring.

Rama’s jade eyes dilated in stupefaction. It came as no surprise to her that the ethereal looking woman was a Silver witch Queen, but what was astonishing as well as bewildering was why she woke up there with her memories wiped clean from her head.

"Why am I here?" Rama muttered under her breath in a half trance like state.

Her eyes suddenly shot open as it narrowed to Aurora with a skeptical look, her conviction for the enigmatic silver head suddenly waned to be replaced with doubt as a thought fleeted through her mind.

A sense of defence suddenly overcame her as she jolted from her seat, alert in her hardened jade eyes as she intoned "Did you do this to me? Did you erase my memories?" Her soft, quiet voice suddenly turned firm as she voiced out.

Aurora sprouted up from her seat after her "No, just listen to me, please. I won’t hurt you, I’m only here to help." She said in a sweet, coaxing voice, but Rama squinted her fierce eyes at her.

She wasn’t so sure it was a good idea to trust a stranger no matter how coaxing they were with words or even if her aura was comforting and she couldn’t sense any sort of danger from her, but still she would rather be careful.

"And how do I know you’re not lying?" Rama retorted as she took a safe step back, even though her guts told her the ethereal woman was harmless.

"If I wanted to harm you, I would have done it while you were asleep." Aurora pointed out. She may had lost her memories but she never lost her wits and fierce spirit.

Rama observed her for a moment, the tenderness in her eyes, the sincerity in her words and the pitiful smile she gave her when she thought she wasn’t looking was enough to support her valid theory.

The silver haired was right, apparently if she wanted to harm her, her vulnerable state would be the best opening. After weighing the possibilities, she let out a soft sigh.

"Fine, then how did I wake up here? Do you have any idea what happened to me or who I am?" Rama queried.

Aurora took a few steps closer, enabling her to observe her striking features from up close. The sun reflecting in her silver eyes made it appear like dancing stars in her magnificent orbs, it was simply captivating. She may have forgotten her memories but she was certainly sure she loved surveying every single thing.

"You’re from a distant human kingdom, the Saba Empire and you are the queen of that Kingdom or technically, were." Aurora disclosed to her.

Rama’s eyes widened like saucers on the revealed information about herself that she was once a queen, but from Aurora’s words, it was apparent an unfortunate incident had taken place.

"What do you mean by were? What happened?" She asked with creased brows in displeasure.

"Your kingdom was at war with another great kingdom, it was quite fatal. The battle was chaotic, you were a great leader and warrior but unfortunately, your adversary won." Aurora remarked and her face suddenly turned grave as if a dark cloud hovered above her.

"You suffered a fatal blow to the head, you almost died. That is how you lost your memories." Aurora explained, leaving Rama even more dumbstruck than she already was.

"You need some fresh air, let’s take a walk outside." Aurora offered with a charming smile on her face as she extended her hand to her.

Rama took her hand while she led her out of the room. As they emerged out of the luxurious chamber, she was greeted by a world of opulence and enchantment.

The grand foyer, illuminated by floating orbs emitting a soft, soothing glow, is lined with tapestries depicting the kingdom’s rich history intertwined with magical legends.

Floors of polished marble reflect the play of light filtering through stained-glass windows depicting scenes from ancient spells and heroic tales.

They passed by the throne room, resplendent in its grandeur, boasting the radiant throne carved from pure moonstone, radiating a gentle luminescence that bathes the room in an otherworldly sheen. Elaborate chandeliers crafted from crystalline formations hang overhead, casting rainbow hues across the walls adorned with intricate murals portraying the kingdom’s flora and fauna dancing in harmony.

Alcoves housing shelves brimming with ancient tomes and magical artifacts line the walls, while a hearth crackles with enchanted flames that provide warmth without consuming fuel.

The castle’s corridors, adorned with ethereal paintings that seem to come alive when gazed upon, lead to secret chambers filled with enchanted mirrors reflecting visions of distant lands and future destinies. Hidden gardens in enclosed spaces in the castle bloomed with rare, luminescent flora tended by benevolent spirits, while celestial observatories atop the towers offer vistas of galaxies beyond the mortal realm.

The White Witch Castle, where the Silver Queen Witch reigned, was a harmonious blend of magic and elegance, a sanctuary where the beauty of the mystical world converges with the opulence of the white witch kingdom.

As they strode through the halls, Rama marveled at the mixture of serenity and glamour adorning the castle, it was a remarkable architecture only the supernatural could be capable of.

They came across white witches wandering about, but their features were a discernable contrast to the silver queen’s, while they possessed white hair and grey eyes, she possessed silver, she was simply an out of the world beauty.

Emerging out of the castle, they came outside, only for her eyes to widen even more as she realised the castle was standing on a mountain peak.

Nestled atop a mist-shrouded mountain peak, the Castle stood as an ethereal beacon in the mortal realm. The castle’s exterior awed her even more as she surveyed it. It was fashioned from glistening alabaster stone that gleams like moonlit snow under the ever-present blanket of fog.

The Towers spiral toward the heavens, capped with delicate spires resembling crystalline icicles that catch the faintest light, casting prismatic glimmers across the surrounding landscape.

Enchanted vines, adorned with luminescent flowers, climb the castle’s walls, intertwining with silver filigree wrought into the architecture. The entrance, a magnificent gate guarded by stone sentinels carved in the likeness of noble forest creatures, opens into a courtyard teeming with a menagerie of mystical beasts, winged horses prance gracefully, while shimmering dragons lazily coil around ancient marble fountains spouting streams of iridescent water.
