Chapter 242: Dawn Of The Celestial
Chapter 242: Dawn Of The Celestial
As dawn broke and the sun stretched from the clouds, the light basked her face, waking her up. Immediately she opened her eyes, her orbs stirred like liquid gold as they locked into Zamiel’s.
The feel of his warm, thick feathers shrouding her naked form like a blanket acted as a protective shield while she was snuggled in his embrace. The feel of their naked skins rubbing against each other suddenly jolted her memories of to last night.
Reminiscing over what had transpired between them, her face heated up with a red tinge rapidly brushing her cheeks as she averted her gaze from his face down to his chest.
With a tiny voice, she breathed out the words "Good morning." in a barely discernable whisper.
Remembering the loud shameless moans leaving her lips only left her more mortified, but she wouldn’t regret a single thing that had happened between them the previous night.
She cherished every moment they shared, every single spark as their bodies brushed, every single electrifying sensation he elicited in her. Every fragment, even the slightest of memory was forever embellished in her head.
He simply smiled, but that beaming smile on his face was worth more than any words he would have said. It delivered unspoken messages of admiration and tenderness, one that even if he didn’t speak was clearly visible in his almost transparent orbs.
"I would love to stay here longer, all day with you doing nothing, but I have things to take care of since Draco left everything for me." He explained, his brows knitting together as a slightly displeased look etched on his face.
Smiling back at him, she nodded in compliance, hiding the discontent she felt at his words as he could not spend the rest of the day with her, it was indeed an almost inconceivable feat to be without him for a minute, his presence was all she needed, all she could crave for.
His wings suddenly unfurled from her body, revealing her nakedness which she hurriedly hid from his view as she turned her back to face him while jolting up on her feet, crossing her arms over her chest.
"You don’t need to hide." She heard his calm, low voice ring behind her as he moved closer. She could feel the heat emanating from his body which made her unable to think straight anymore.
Inhaling deeply, she confidently veered around to face him. A shy smile broke through her lips as she took her clothes from him, lashes fluttering like butterfly wings as she darted her gaze around.
Dressing up to leave, they exchanged knowing glances, breaking the peaceful stillness that enveloped them as they shared wistful smiles at each other.
Zamiel’s wings unfolded slowly, their iridescence catching the rays of the sunlight, casting chromatic reflections upon the verdant landscape. With a graceful stretch, he rose to his full height, towering yet poised, a magnificent blend of darkness and grace.
Breathing out dreamily, her body relaxed limply while she leaned on a tree trunk as if she was rubber melting on high heat, from the sight of him as his wings stretched with the vast clear blue skies acting as an ephemeral background behind him.
Faint shades of colors were still slightly visible across the sky from their exhibition the previous night. She smiled in reminiscence.
"Let’s go, shall we?"
His smooth baritone voice broke her out of her reverie, making her stutter as she answered "Yes, of course." with a coy voice.
Soaring into the heavens, they navigated through the seamless sky, Zamiel’s powerful wings propelling them forward as he led the way while they effortlessly glided through the forests below them.
As they drifted through the sky, their contrasting essences illuminated the heavens with their forbidden presence which was impossible to ignore, it shook the pillars but the universe had written down their fates to be bonded as one.
His long hazel hair cascaded down his back, the faintest hint of flickering flames dancing within its depths as he soared through the bright sky.
Beside him soared Malika, who was busy reeling in the inexplicable experience and excitement, she finally understood what it meant by the phrase to be free like a bird, stretching her wings wide and flying in the sky, she felt free and a feeling of light weight in both her body and her mind.
Her wings, opalescent and iridescent, reflected the hues of dawn and dusk, shimmering with an otherworldly radiance. Graceful and elegant, she possessed an air of serenity that belied the fiery determination in her golden eyes. Her flowing platinum hair trailed behind her as she effortlessly navigated the currents of wind, her celestial garb adorned with delicate patterns woven from starlight.
Their journey from the craggy peaks of the mountains to the looming castle was a seamless dance through the celestial tapestry above. The air around them crackled with the energy of their union, a forbidden liaison between worlds that defied both celestial decree and infernal law.
Below them, a farmer was busy in his work with his toddler playing beside him. While the toddler played around, she glanced up for a moment only to see the enigmatic figures soaring across the firmament of the clear, blue skies above her.
Her small mouth hanged open as she watched the contrasting beings with white and black wings fly past above her with an acceleration that shook the heavens.
With eyes widening in awe and stupefaction, she shook her father as she yelled noisily "Papa! See, look over there, there’s an angel! It’s flying!"
In surprise and curiosity at what his daughter was spitting out, his eyes narrowed to where she was pointing in the sky, only to be greeted with empty but beautiful clear skies. The only thing he noticed unusual, was the smear of faint colours running over it.
"There’s no such thing as an angel my dear, you probably saw a large bird." He said, before averting his gaze back to his work.
"But I saw them, one had black feathers and the other had white ones. I really saw an angel papa!" She nagged noisily, but then she kept silent with a gloomy countenance, realizing he didn’t believe her words.
"Maybe it was a bird." She mumbled to herself as she shrugged in disappointment.
As they both neared the towering walls of the castle, Zamiel’s wings unfurled majestically, guiding them toward the ornate balcony of Malika’s chambers. With a graceful descent, they landed in perfect synchrony, their presence eliciting a whisper of awe from the breaking dawn.
The balcony overlooked a breathtaking panorama of the kingdom below, a patchwork of forests, rivers, and villages basking in the soft light of the sun. The air hummed with a palpable tension, a fusion of the earthly and the divine.
Their intimate liaison amidst the peaks had been a fervent union, a tempestuous mingling of their contrasting essences, the dark, brooding power of the demon entwined with the ethereal purity of the celestial being.
Their passion had ignited a conflagration that blazed across the mountaintops, a testament to the forbidden desire that bound them.
Silently, they exchanged a glance, their eyes speaking volumes of the love that defied all expectations, boundaries, and celestial laws. Zamiel’s hand, adorned with ornate, onyx-hued gauntlets, gently cupped Malika’s celestial cheek, a touch that bridged the expanse between their worlds.
Malika leaned with a yearning spirit into his touch, her eyes closing momentarily as she basked in the warmth of their connection. The tumultuous emotions within her, a mixture of love, longing, and the weight of their forbidden union, mirrored the roiling skies above.
"I’ll come see you when I’m done with my work, I promise." He whispered softy and she nodded with a satisfied smile.
"I’ll be here waiting." She said.
As if guided by an unseen force, their movements synchronized, drawing them closer until their breaths mingled in the cool night air. Zamiel’s hand, strong yet gentle, cupped Malika’s cheek, his touch eliciting an involuntary shiver that danced down her spine. Malika’s heartbeat quickened, matching the rhythm of the fluttering wings of the moths circling the flickering torches nearby.
Their faces drew closer, the space between them diminishing until their lips hovered mere breaths apart. Time seemed to halt, the world around them fading into insignificance as they closed their eyes, savoring the impending connection. The anticipation hung in the air like the delicate balance before a crescendo in a symphony.
Soft as the touch of a feather, their lips finally met, delicate collision of warmth and tenderness. It was a fleeting yet profound moment, a brief union that spoke volumes in the silence.
Zamiel’s lips, tender and reverent, caressed Malika’s with an almost reverential care, as though she were the most precious treasure in his world. Malika’s heart raced, a symphony of emotions crescendoing within her as she melted into the kiss, a silent understanding passing between them.
The kiss held a subtle innocence, a fragile purity unmarred by the complexities of the world outside. It was a testament to the unspoken emotions, the uncharted territories of their hearts yearning to explore the unknown.
Moments stretched into an eternity as they lingered in that embrace, a timeless bubble where only their connection mattered. Yet, as abruptly as it began, the kiss concluded, leaving an ethereal echo that resonated within their souls.
When they parted, a serene and enigmatic smile graced Zamiel’s lips, while Malika’s cheeks flushed with a rosy hue, a blend of embarrassment and an inexplicable joy illuminating her countenance.
Wordlessly, they stood together, the weight of unspoken feelings hanging in the air, neither needing words to acknowledge the depth of emotions that had passed between them in that delicate, short lived moment.
With a silent nod, he parted ways as he took a leap off the balcony and she rushed to the edge of the rail, leaning against it with a heavy heart of longing as she watched him drift away out of her sight.
