The Devil's Warrior Queen
Chapter 205: Bittersweet

Chapter 205: Bittersweet

Rama stretched her limbs as she fluttered her lashes open, she could feel the silk sheets rubbing against her skin and the warmth of the sun grazing over the smooth surface of it.

She woke up thinking she would get burnt by the sun, but she didn’t, which was quite surprising for her. But as she tried to get up, Draco’s strong arms restricted her movements, so she could only turn to face him and watch with admiration gleaming in her jade eyes as he slept.

The ache she felt between her legs made her thoughts run back to last night and the wicked things he did to her, how he devoured every inch of her body, giving her no escape from the fiery monster between his legs.

Her limbs still felt like spaghetti floating in water, his primal strength was on a different level of energy, he had drained her out which she thought was impossible as she was already a vampire, she was left in amazement.

A radiant smile lit up her golden face as the vivid memories of last night played out in her head, but as she snuggled closer into his arms, the bed quaked and then, the foot of the bed splintered as it broke, making it collapse with a soft thud.

A yelp left her lips and then she giggled afterwards at the broken bed. She had often heard from her past friends that if a man could break your bed, then he was a beast since no human male had that sort of strength, but the man she married was a demon, he wouldn’t break a sweat in breaking a bed.

As soon as the bed collapsed to the ground, Draco woke up, but he didn’t seem startled, rather he gave her a smile when he saw her face.

"Did you sleep well, love?" He asked with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

She gave him a demure smile and a blush crept up her face as she spoke "That is a sarcastic question, but yes I had the best sleep of my life." She giggled as she averted her gaze from his with a shy smile.

"Did I hurt you last night? I heard you wince." He asked in a serious tone, concern fleeting through his orbs that were more of a golden shade than a red one.

"I’m perfectly fine, it did hurt a bit, but I’m alright." She said softly with a grin.

She remembered when he broke her hymen, taking her virginity in the process, it was unexpected and painful, but it was a bittersweet moment as a surge of pleasure overwhelmed the pain, he had taken her on a trip both heaven and hell, and other dimensions she didn’t know existed.

It was a memory she could never forget, a memory she held dear to her heart and would cherish for all of eternity.

"Let’s take a shower, can you walk?" He asked with yet another mischievous grin flashing across his handsome face.

Well, that was a good question because honestly she wasn’t sure she could walk either, her legs felt numb and she ached between. She wondered how it was possible to make her feel that way when she was a vampire, she thought being a vampire means pain was out of the question.

"Vampires can feel pain, although it doesn’t affect them as much as humans, but when it’s a more powerful creature that inflicts pain on them, it hurts a lot, but I on the other hand, I’m almost unfeeling and numb to pain, but I’ll do feel it if Lucifer inflicted it on me." He explained.

"Oh, I see." She mumbled as she nodded.

"I’m sorry for losing control last night." He apologized sincerely.

"It was my first time, it’s bound to be painful." She said as she kissed him lightly on the lips.

Like spaghetti, he cradled her in his arms, naked while they went to the washroom for their bath. As soon as he positioned her inside the bathtub, her legs wobbled and she quickly sat down.

The warm water was relieving of the ache she felt, oddly, she liked aching down there as she remembered why, but the water was too soothing as she soaked inside it, so she stayed put.

Draco scrubbed her clean and helped her rinse, while she did the same. Seeing her naked in front of him, his raging monster twitched uncontrollably, but he’d rather give her some time after the long night they had, she seemed tired.

After washing up, they both dressed up and as they were about to exit the room for breakfast, her eyes narrowed to the bed with sheer horror as she clasped her palm over her mouth.

The rumpled sheets were scattered in a disorientated state as if a tornado had occurred on the bed and not to talk of the bed’s broken state, she would be mortified if the maids walked in to clean this mess. It would be so transparently obvious what had happened there.

"At least lets clean up before we leave." She pleaded.

"That’s the maids job love, they’ll clean it up." He pointed out with a straight face and her brows furrowed.

"It’s embarrassing if they see this state of our room." She nagged.

"There’s nothing embarrassing about making love to the woman you love, stop being so uptight, let’s have breakfast." He said and a red hue flushed over her cheeks at his statement, but still she wanted to argue more.

Before she could spew out a word, he pulled her along, so she pressed her lips tightly in a thin line. As they walked down the corridors to the dining hall, she suddenly remembered something, it made her throat clog, but she didn’t say anything until they got to the dining hall.

She waited until the maids served the food on the table and left, which took rather an eternity as they had to fill the table with numerous delicacies.

Finally they disappeared and they were alone.

"What’s wrong feisty princess?" He called out, staring deep into her mesmerizing jade eyes, but now it was no longer just jade, streaks of crimson danced with the glowing emeralds within, as if indicating the powers she now possessed.

"Uhm, I suddenly remembered what the seers prophecied about me." She said, her face turning slightly gloomy as she smacked her lips before talking.

"It doesn’t matter what they prophecies about you, but if it unnerves you so much, feel free to talk about it." He remarked with serious eyes as he listened attentively to what she was about to say.

"They said I’d become a monster, a curse to my people and a portrayal of condemnation to my fallen kingdom, I’d be hated and reviled by the humans for turning into this willingly." She stated out, her voice slightly shaky as she hung her head low.

"You shouldn’t be worried about that, the only thing that matters is your happiness and my love for you, you don’t need others now do you? You don’t need mere spineless humans to glorify you, they’re all worthless mortals after all, with nothing to offer but spouting out useless things, I would glorify the ground you walk on, I worship you and adore you, what mere human can confidently say their commitment and glorification equals mine? None!" He boasted with pride, his intense gaze piercing into hers with sincerity dripping from every word he uttered.

Her glum countenance was suddenly replaced with a wide grin reaching from ear to ear as she chuckled out at his words.

"Really? You glorify the ground I walk on?" She teased and she heard him scoff.

"I worship the air you breathe, it carries with it the essence of our unbreakable bond." He said while stroking her small hands in his large ones.

"Well then, since you worship me so much..." She could barely finish her statement as he cut right into it.

"You’re a goddess among both mortals and immortals, you deserve to be worshipped by everyone who walks on the face of earth, heaven and hell, because you’re the only thing keeping them all alive, the only reason they get to see another day and take another breath." His face hardened as he spoke, the melancholic words erupting from his mouth retained profound truth in them which unnerved her, because she was well aware of the fact that if she had died, he wouldn’t hesitate to get rid of every life essence, be it earth, heaven or hell.

He would destroy every single thing that crawled on the universe, the universe included. Everything would be a history, but there wouldn’t be any history to learn if everything went extinct.

She was glad she didn’t die, but she was also wary of what the future held in store for them, what the future held in store for her most importantly, after all she was turned into a vampire, she wasn’t immortal.

"Are you scared love?" He said with a chuckle and she shook her head negatively as she let out a nervous laugh.

"Of course not." She replied confidently, but she was.
