The Cold-hearted CEO's Unwanted Bride
Chapter 36: Daddy, when they say ’bastard,’ are they talking about Yinyin?

Chapter 36: Chapter 36: Daddy, when they say ’bastard,’ are they talking about Yinyin?

Bo Yunshen’s veins on his forehead violently pulsed twice before he got out of the car, walked over to the passenger side, and barked, "Get in!"

Qin Yinyin wiped the tears from her face and hastily climbed into the car. When Bo Yunshen saw that she was seated, he slammed the car door shut and walked around to the driver’s side to get in.

He had just started the engine when Qin Yinyin quietly asked, "Daddy, where are we going? Aren’t we waiting for Mom?"

Bo Yunshen’s brows furrowed. Wait for Qin Yan? She was having the time of her life with no contact at all, and Qin Yan didn’t even care about Qin Yinyin. Waiting here for Qin Yan, he was afraid he’d be waiting forever!

Besides, did Qin Yan even deserve for him to wait here for her?

Bo Yunshen remained silent, driving stoically all the way to Hai Wan Xiang Xie.

He got out of the car alone, his long legs striding toward the villa. By the time Qin Yinyin got out, Bo Yunshen was already out of sight.

Having been with Bo Yunshen for so long, Qin Yinyin was somewhat accustomed to his indifference. She got out of the car and ran into the house.

Bo Yunshen was in a bad mood. With one hand, he held a bottle of wine and poured himself a glass of red wine.

"Daddy, what place is this?"

As Qin Yinyin entered, she tilted her head and surveyed the layout of Hai Wan Xiang Xie. Her eyes lit up with joy, sparkling like crescent moons in the sky, and Bo Yunshen couldn’t help but take a few extra glances.

She had inherited all of Qin Yan’s best features, especially her looks. At such a young age, she had a lively charm that was striking.

Bo Yunshen ignored Qin Yinyin, holding the wine glass in one hand, he swirled the deep red liquid and took a sip.

He lifted his wrist to check the time—it was a little past three in the afternoon.

"Daddy, I’m hungry."

Qin Yinyin rubbed her little stomach; she had last eaten breakfast in the morning and, following a dispute with a boy at daycare, had ended up at the police station.

Bo Yunshen glanced at her irritably and pulled out his phone to call the housekeeper who came to clean Hai Wan Xiang Xie.

As soon as the call connected, Bo Yunshen said, "Come over!"

His expression remained dark even after he hung up the phone.

He then called Xu Lin without hesitating. "Get Qin Yan on the line immediately, right now! Send that wild child back to her mother’s home!"

Xu Lin was taken aback and asked, "Mr. Bo, did you pick up Miss Yinyin from the police station?"

Bo Yunshen snorted coldly, "Is that your business? Do I need to report every single meal I have to you as well?"

After his sarcastic remark, he immediately cut off the phone call.

He thought to himself, Qin Yan really was a nuisance, not only causing him problems herself but also with her troublesome daughter.

"Daddy..."

Bo Yunshen ignored Qin Yinyin. She then grasped the hem of Bo Yunshen’s clothes, pitifully calling out to him again.

His brows jumped again, and with a darkened face, he said, "Hold on for a bit; someone will be here soon to make you something to eat."

Qin Yinyin nodded, standing next to Bo Yunshen, looking up at him.

The wound on her head was still bleeding, the blood having dried up in the middle of her forehead over time. Standing close and looking up at him, she directly exposed her wounded forehead to his view.

Bo Yunshen felt his germophobia tingling slightly.

"Disgusting!"

Bo Yunshen stretched out his hand, grabbed at his clothes, and freed his hem from Qin Yinyin’s grasp. He took two steps to the middle of the living room, retrieved the medical kit from beside the wall, and returned to the sofa.

He waved at Qin Yinyin, his attitude as casual as if calling a pet.

"Come here!"

Qin Yinyin walked to Bo Yunshen’s side. The man nodded toward the sofa, "Sit down."

Qin Yinyin obediently sat down, her grape-like eyes blinked sweetly, her voice soft, "Daddy, the bastard you mentioned on the phone, was that Yinyin?"

Bo Yunshen picked up a piece of alcohol swab with tweezers, his voice extremely cold as he replied indirectly, "Even if it hurts later, bear with it. No crying, understand?"

When Bo Yunshen finished treating Qin Yinyin’s wound, he finally noticed Yinyin’s condition.

Her eyes brimmed with tears, her teeth clenched tightly on her lower lip, afraid to let any sound of crying escape.

Seeing Bo Yunshen look over, Qin Yinyin quickly wiped away her tears, her voice trembling and choked, "Daddy, Yinyin didn’t cry."

Bo Yunshen applied some ointment and simply put a piece of medical gauze on her wound. Although it still wasn’t very pleasing to the eye, at least the dried blood on her face was cleaned up.

The antiseptic stung the wound—something even adults could hardly bear. Yet, Qin Yinyin didn’t utter a word, even eager for recognition, which made Bo Yunshen glance at her sideways.

The bastard born to Qin Yan had the same grit, a spirit as tough as a cockroach, a face that could deceive, highly obedient, and very good at making people happy. Bo Yunshen never liked such people.

He always felt that such people were too cunning.

Even if she appeared as a three-year-old in his eyes, before anything else, Bo Yunshen saw her first and foremost as Qin Yan’s daughter.

"Knock, knock, knock."

There was a knock at the door. Bo Yunshen walked to the front door in two steps and pulled it open—it was the nanny.

As soon as she entered, Bo Yunshen pointed his well-defined fingers towards Qin Yinyin, "Your task this afternoon is to keep a close watch on her!"

"Understood, sir."

Getting an affirmative response, Bo Yunshen returned inside, picked up a coat, and walked out of the villa. Qin Yinyin followed a few steps, "Daddy, where are you going?"

Bo Yunshen, in reply to Qin Yinyin, left her with nothing but a cold and towering back—no other words.

As the door of the villa closed, Qin Yinyin and Bo Yunshen were once again isolated. With reddened eyes, she looked at the nanny, "Grandma, does Daddy really not like Yinyin?"

...

Night Club.

After the last sliver of light disappeared, the Night Club hadn’t lit up.

Qin Yan finally sensed that something was amiss.

Night Club was a bar, and it was already nighttime, yet there was still no sound at all?

If it weren’t for Qin Yan noticing the Night Club’s decor around the bathroom when she woke up in the morning, she might have thought, perhaps Tang Tian took the opportunity to move her while she was unconscious.

Trapped inside Night Club for a day and a night, no matter how stubborn and proud Qin Yan was, despite her triumphant business accolades, Qin Yan remained a woman.

Her psychological defenses were shattered by the pitch-black darkness and the hunger pressing close, front to back.
