A fleeting kiss fell on her lips, the thin breath scattered between her teeth, the distance between them was so close that Qin Yan could even sense the faint scent of sunlight on Bo Yunshen’s body.

Qin Yan hadn’t yet recovered from this sweetness when the scene around her tore apart, condensing into another picture.

The young man stood on the twentieth floor, his gaze indifferent, his long, narrow eyes still carrying sparse affection and a slight smile.

Lu Yi lowered his eyes, not answering Qin Yan’s question.

Qin Yan’s body and mind were still immersed in that nightmare, her whole being cold.

She looked around, the stark white ceiling, the IV above her head, and the nearly imperceptible scent of disinfectant, all reminded Qin Yan exactly where she was.

As her consciousness returned, Qin Yan suddenly remembered something, speaking as if to herself, "I should have been with Yunshen in the mountains..."

Before darkness took over, Qin Yan heard Bo Yunshen’s exclamation of "Careful!"
