Bo Yuanshan’s face turned dark instantly. He clutched his heaving chest and cursed angrily,

"Bastard! That’s your wife and child!"

"The wife was forced on me by dad, and I acknowledged that. But the child... Ha, dad, I don’t have a child that old."

Bo Yunshen licked his lips!

Once again, he was amazed by Qin Yan’s cunning!

She not only wanted to pin Qin Yinyin on him but also managed to make the old man believe it was true!

Bo Yunshen’s mind was chaotically clouded with pain. Large sweat drops slid down his spine and cheeks to the floor. His face showed no sign of pain except for the trembling eyelashes and the fluctuating chest which revealed a slight sense of real feeling.

It seemed as if Bo Yunshen truly felt no pain!

Just as Qin Yan arrived at the study door, she heard Bo Yunshen’s mocking words,

Qin Yan’s raising hand paused, hesitating for that as one second, the whip sounded especially loud inside.

Qin Yan and Qin Yinyin were caught off guard and shivered in fear.

Soon, they heard Bo Yunshen’s muffled groan and Mr. Bo’s angry shout. Qin Yan withdrew her hand that was about to knock, her facial expression was stern as she took Qin Yinyin’s hand, turned around, and planned to walk away.

Qin Yinyin stood still, even grabbing Qin Yan’s hand, "Mom, aren’t we going to save dad? Dad is innocent."

She had spent more time with Qin Yan and could see that Qin Yan’s expression was upset, tears in her eyes, she said, "Mom, I heard it all, grandfather is beating dad, shall we save dad?"

Qin Yan’s heart tightened, and her lips trembled.

Qin Yinyin was thinking of saving Bo Yunshen, yet Bo Yunshen was still calling her a bastard inside!

"I apologized already. I’ve held the child too. You can’t seriously let Yunshen be beaten to death by his father, can you?! You just said that you would handle this issue!"

Qin Yan’s expression was grave, and upon seeing this, Mrs. Bo said, "Didn’t you hear it? Your father is hitting him again! When I came out, Yunshen was already half-dead from the beating!"

"I’m begging you, please have pity on me and save my son, will you?"

Qin Yan paused for a moment then pulled out her phone from her pocket, her face expressionless as she spoke, "Mom, this issue isn’t so easy to resolve; I need to make a call first."

"The immediate priority is to calm dad’s fury. Wouldn’t it be resolved if you just explained clearly? But, Sis, you didn’t even enter the room and started making excuses. Are you perhaps finding reasons to avoid saving our brother?"

Mrs. Bo’s gaze became instantly suspicious.

That was indeed the logic.

Even if Bo Yunshen hadn’t abused his wife, even if he truly had, a simple lie from Qin Yan would clear things up!

He had just made himself a cup of coffee when he saw Qin Yan’s call and answered it.

"Qin Yan, why are you calling? Weren’t you and Yunshen returning to the old house?"

Qin Yan licked her somewhat dry lips and spoke softly, "Lu Yi, can you do me a favor and call my father-in-law?"
