Xia Qingtian obediently let him press down on her and asked lazily, "Why are you here?"

"If I didn’t come, I was worried my wife would run off with another man!" Bo Jingyan’s cold voice held a trace of humour as he spoke.

Xia Qingtian found his words to be sarcastic and insinuating.

She widened her eyes, glared at Bo Jingyan, and demanded, "What do you mean by that? Who would I run off with?"

Seeing she seemed a bit angry, Bo Jingyan immediately nuzzled his nose against hers, "Don’t be angry. I wasn’t doubting you, I was just a bit jealous."

His affectionate gesture successfully put out the small spark of anger that had just flared up in Xia Qingtian’s heart.

She glanced at Bo Jingyan and asked curiously, "Who are you jealous of?"

"Huo Qilin!" Bo Jingyan honestly responded.

Hearing his reply, Xia Qingtian was taken aback, "Why?"

That evening, she had socialised with many people, but her interaction with Huo Qilin was minimal. After Cheng Bingbing left, although Huo Qilin did not leave, he did not seem to be in high spirits.

He quietly cornered himself, drinking alone.
