Xia Qingtian was surprised to hear his apology, then something occurred to her.

"Do you remember what happened last night?" She looked at Huo Qilin and asked, raising an eyebrow.

Her question seemingly directed to Huo Qilin carried a note of certainty. She obviously already knew the answer.

Huo Qilin stiffened.

In this situation, denying it would be of no use.

So, he could only rigidly nod, "Yes!"

Xia Qingtian had to admit that she was momentarily touched by this sincere confession, but that was it.

But, she didn’t show it.

She put her years-long acting skills to use, eyes reddening as she looked at Huo Qilin as if felt moved, "Don’t worry, I won’t alienate you, nor will I hand you over to another manager."

Hearing this, Huo Qilin looked at her, surprised.

"You..." his voice trembling slightly, "What do you mean? You said that you don’t mix up personal affairs with professional ones, didn’t you? You wouldn’t date your artist, would you?"

"That’s because I didn’t like Jiang Chen. That’s why I said that." Xia Qingtian explained, "But when I meet someone I truly like, I’m willing to break all my rules for him."

Catching the underlying meaning in her words, Huo Qilin couldn’t believe it.

Fortunately, Xia Qingtian didn’t doubt his words. Instead, she just lifted her head and said, "Qilin, can you kiss me now that I am your girlfriend."

But Huo Qilin had no desire to kiss her.
