"Qingtian, don’t leave yet!"

Xia Qingtian paused in her steps, looking back at him with some perplexity.

"Why did you stop?" she asked in bewilderment.

Soon, she figured out the cause of Bo Jingyan’s sudden out-of-character behavior. Shi Qian, holding a food box, was standing outside the office, gazing tenderly at Bo Jingyan.

Shi Qian voiced out, "Brother Jingyan, Mrs. Bo said you’ve been working too hard lately, so she made you a soup. She asked me to bring it over, so you should drink it while it’s still warm."

The events at the recent Lu Family banquet had induced a strong sense of crisis in her. She knew she had to seize more opportunities to spend time around Bo Jingyan.

She finally managed to convince Bo Jingyan’s mother to make him soup and took the opportunity for herself.

"Give it to me." To avoid unnecessary trouble, despite his lack of interest in the soup, Bo Jingyan didn’t refuse. Instead, he took the soup from her hands.

After receiving the soup, Shi Qian didn’t show any intention of leaving.
