He furrowed his brows, asking in a dry voice, "What happened next?"

"Master Bo, of course, was not that forgiving. He wanted her to pay with the unborn child in his wife’s womb!"

Bo Jingyan could not help but ask, "Did that woman end up dying?"

"No." Zhang Bo replied with a mixed expression.

"Why?" Bo Jingyan did not understand.

Master Bo had previously been to the battlefield, he was not someone merciful, especially not towards a woman who nearly killed his son and her family.

There was no reason for him to let the woman go.

Zhang Bo quickly clarified his doubts, "Because the master wanted to protect that woman!"

Upon saying this, there was a touch of disappointment in his tone.
