Cheng Bingbing was more enduring than Xia Qingtian had imagined.

Just as Xia Qingtian was contemplating whether to compromise and coax Cheng Bingbing out of her home to expose her to the outside world before making further plans, Cheng Bingbing finally took action.

"Sister Qingtian, I’m also a part of the company. Could you bring me along during the team building activity?" Cheng Bingbing asked with all the courage she could muster, biting her lip nervously.

But she held them back in the end.

She could not betray any hints of her own emotions or let Cheng Bingbing feel like an outsider.

She nodded firmly, saying nonchalantly, "Of course, you can join. You’re now part of our team, and your presence is certainly required."

Cheng Bingbing finally cracked a smile, albeit a faint one.

This relieved Xia Qingtian. It was Bingbing’s first genuine smile since the award ceremony, a sign that she was finally starting to regain some cheer.

She grabbed Cheng Bingbing’s hand, asking her to sit down next to her, then opened her phone to discuss, "Let’s take a look and decide where to go for our team building."

So Xia Qingtian took the initiative and suggested, "How about an amusement park?"

Amusement parks were the happiest places in the world, she thought, hoping that the happiness could rub off on Cheng Bingbing and make her feel better.

"I think it’s a great idea." Cheng Bingbing answered with a small smile.

Seeing that she was indeed satisfied with the idea, Xia Qingtian finally let out a sigh of relief. She then set the outing to be three days later.

In three days, Huo Qilin would not have any work commitments.

After all, Huo Qilin’s presence was crucial for this outing. He absolutely had to be there.

Cheng Bingbing also realized this issue and forced herself to eat well, even when she didn’t have the appetite.

Xia Qingtian cooked enough food for three meals every time and sent a portion to the Bo Group.

That was their previous agreement. Bo Jingyan would introduce her to a top-notch group of internet experts and she would cook meals for him.

Xia Qingtian had been sending him food for two days straight.

On the third day, the day they were scheduled for the team-building trip.

Xia Qingtian couldn’t send the meal to Bo Jingyan that morning, but she was prepared. She cooked foods that could be easily stored such as dumplings and buns.

Before they left, she handed over these foods to a delivery person to be sent to Bo Group.

There weren’t many stars in their company, and many were off shooting films. So, only two stars, Cheng Bingbing and Huo Qilin, and Xia Qingtian, their manager, would be attending the team building activity.

Xia Qingtian wasn’t bothered by this.

After all, the ultimate aim of this team-building event was for Cheng Bingbing and Huo Qilin.

As long as they could make it, nothing else mattered.

Upon meeting up with Huo Qilin at the company, they departed.

He was a bit unhappy and wanted to know the reason, so he simply asked, "Yes, I received them, but why didn’t you personally come?"

"Because we have a scheduled company team building today. As part of management, I have to be there." Xia Qingtian said directly without hiding anything.

"When will you be back?" Bo Jingyan asked.

Xia Qingtian replied, "If everything goes as planned, I should be back in two days."

She had booked the venue for two days.

Of course, if everything progressed smoothly, or circumstances changed, they might stay for a few more days.

Bo Jingyan could only say, "Then I..."
