She looked at Xia Qingtian and chuckled, "It’s nothing really. I just think you have a pretty face. What if I slash it beyond recognition? Will Bo Jingyan continue to love you even if your face is torn and ghostly?"

Xia Qingtian’s face instantly turned sickly pale.

Even though Xia Qingtian knew this was a stall, she shivered at these words.

Chen Momo was crueler than she’d ever imagined.

"Should I carve two XX’s on your face or ’slut’? I’m itching to execute that plan now," Chen Momo couldn’t wait any longer.

She gave a distressed expression.

However, she soon thought of a solution, "Why not both? I’ll carve XX on your left cheek and ’slut’ on the right one."

As she spoke, she already had the knife against Xia Qingtian’s face.

Xia Qingtian could feel the chilling sharpness of the blade. With a slight pressure, the blade would slash through her skin, into her flesh.

Watching Chen Momo’s ecstatic expression, Xia Qingtian’s face fell.

She acted quickly. As Chen Momo was momentarily distracted, she kicked Chen Momo down, struggled to her feet, and sprinted for the exit.

"You slut! You dare to run!!!"

Chen Momo, looking beyond angry, chased after her," I am going to ruin your face right now, then break your limbs."

With her hands still bound, Xia Qingtian couldn’t run far. Chen Momo quickly caught up to her.

Chen Momo yanked at her hair and dragged Xia Qingtian down to the ground, pinning her down with the knife against her face.

The sound of a car engine was heard in the distance.

Chen Momo realized someone was approaching. Her face turned pale instantly.

She vaguely heard someone shouting.

"The car is here. They must be nearby. Search!"

Before long, Chen Momo had dragged her to a cliff next to the sea with nowhere to run.

A group of bodyguards had tracked their whereabouts and boxed them in.

"Let her go!!!" A voice colder than ice echoed in the air.

Chen Momo shivered at the sound.

The bodyguards automatically created a path. A man dressed in a black suit made his way to the forefront.

Bo Jingyan moved his gaze from Xia Qingtian to Chen Momo. His warmth evaporated instantly.

Chen Momo was not even a person to him, but a piece of disgusting rotting flesh.

Chen Momo was so enraged that her face distorted.

Despite having given up on Bo Jingyan and deciding to never like him again, his different treatment towards herself and Xia Qingtian provoked her bitterness.

"Do you think I’m dead?"

As she spoke, Chen Momo pressed the knife against Xia Qingtian’s throat.

"I don’t want anything. Xia Qingtian turned me into this, I just want her to feel my pain. I want revenge!!!" Chen Momo shouted, her face distorted with madness.

As she said the words, she repeated her earlier horrific plan for Xia Qingtian.

Bo Jingyan’s eyes filled with a strong killing intent as he heard Chen Momo plan to ruin Xia Qingtian’s face and cripple her.

"Let her go!" He commanded authoritatively.

"Why would I let her go when I took such a risk to capture Xia Qingtian?"

After saying this, Chen Momo changed her mind as if she had thought of something entertaining.

"However, if you really want me to let Xia Qingtian go, I just might." She said, her eyes motivated and interested, "Aren’t you in love with Xia Qingtian? Let’s see just how far you’d go for her".

"Speak. What do you want?" Bo Jingyan asked expressionlessly.

An excited glint flashed through Chen Momo’s eyes, "Beg me. Beg me to let Xia Qingtian go, better yet, kneel down and beg me."

Bo Jingyan always looked down at her from high above. Now she wanted him to taste what it feels like to be stepped on and trampled upon.

"Bo Jingye, don’t..."

Xia Qingtian shot a strange look at Bo Jingyan.

Bo Jingyan raised his eyes and the two exchanged a look. An understanding passed between them.

It was as if they had reached an agreement.

Then, Bo Jingyan said nonchalantly, "Alright, I promise you."
