Chen Momo moved closer to him.

Despite the difficulty, he made an effort to stay lucid and looked at Chen Momo in pain, "Are you going to kill me?"

Even though his words were framed as a question, his tone sounded certain.

"I didn’t want to, but you’ve pushed me into this!!!"

Chen Momo squatted down emotionlessly in front of him, "Don’t be so foolish in your next life."

Qian Wenbin wanted to say something else, but...

He could hang on no longer, he passed out and fell limply at Chen Momo’s feet.

Bo Jingyan woke up to find himself staring into a pair of bright, shining eyes.

He involuntarily softened his gaze, "Why did you wake up so early today?"

Xia Qingtian’s eyes were sparkling as she looked at him, her tone full of excitement, "Do you know what day it is today?"

"What?" Confusion flickered in Bo Jingyan’s eyes.

Seeing that he was clueless, Xia Qingtian didn’t get angry but instead cheered him up with a smile, "It’s the day we take Chen Momo to the hospital for amniocentesis to extract DNA."

"Once the DNA is extracted and the paternity test report is complete, then everything will be crystal clear."

She was practically counting the days on her fingers, eagerly waiting for the day marked on her pregnancy test schedule when she could get amniocentesis. She was really looking forward to it.

Just the thought of Chen Momo being exposed, and never plotting against her or disgusting her again, made her extremely happy.

Bo Jingyan was taken aback upon hearing this, as he hadn’t been paying attention to Chen Momo at all, thus pushing it completely out of his mind.

If it weren’t for her reminder, he wouldn’t have thought of it at all.

"I remember now." He nodded.

"Now that you remember, then hurry up. Don’t dawdle around here." Xia Qingtian got up and pulled him off the bed.

There was a touch of helplessness in Bo Jingyan’s eyes, but he indulgently went along with her.

He cancelled his morning work and got ready to go out, only to find that Xia Qingtian had already seated herself in the car. She patted the seat next to her and urged, "Hurry up, get in. Don’t waste time."

Bo Jingyan frowned, "You’re coming with us too?"

"Of course!" Xia Qingtian nodded. On such an important day, she certainly wanted to be there.

Bo Jingyan glanced at her big belly, "There are many people in the hospital. I’m afraid it might be dangerous for you."

"I’m not scared, because you’re here to protect me." Xia Qingtian smiled sweetly, buttering him up.

Seeing the caller’s name, she immediately answered the call, her voice full of hope, "Mr. Bo, are you calling me because you’ve forgiven me and you’re not mad at me anymore?"

"Come downstairs!" Without answering her question, Bo Jingyan reminded her indifferently, "I am waiting for you downstairs."

"Where are we going?" Chen Momo’s heart started to race as she asked with anticipation.

"You’ll know when we get there." Bo Jingyan didn’t want to say much.

Not wanting to miss the opportunity to spend time with Bo Jingyan, Chen Momo happily agreed without further questions, "Okay, I’ll come down right away."

She quickly got ready and went downstairs, immediately spotting Bo Jingyan’s car parked not far away.

She walked over with anticipation, but when she opened the door, she was surprised to see not only Bo Jingyan, but also Xia Qingtian.

Her face instantly turned ugly as she stared at Xia Qingtian, "What are you doing here?"

Xia Qingtian was in a good mood today. Instead of arguing with her, she said with a smile, "After all, we were once best friends. You’re going to the hospital for such an important prenatal test, how could I not be there?"

"Prenatal test?" Chen Momo’s voice became screeching.

"Indeed." Xia Qingtian confirmed it, then asked ambiguously, "Aren’t you happy now? Soon, you can prove your innocence."

Ignoring her double entendre, Chen Momo turned to Bo Jingyan, hoping to hear the real answer from him.

But Bo Jingyan didn’t refute it.

Chen Momo instantly understood. What Xia Qingtian said was true. Suddenly, she felt a chill run down her spine.

The one thing that must be done in a prenatal test is—

Amniocentesis!!!

Without a doubt, Mr. Bo will extract the DNA of the child in her womb for a paternity test.
