"Mhm," Shen Yi responded while he continued his morning routine, then asked Ye Wanwan, "Haven’t had breakfast yet?"

Ye Wanwan turned the camera to show him the lunch prepared by her housemaid. "About to eat now."

"That’s good, I’m also getting ready to go to the office," Shen Yi said.

Ye Wanwan was surprised. "Isn’t it just past six there? You’re heading to the office this early?"

"Yeah, I’ve been away for a while, and some of the work details aren’t very clear to me. I’ll head over early to get a look before the meetings later so things aren’t chaotic," Shen Yi explained, now finished with his ablutions and shaking his phone as he left the bathroom.

"Then remember to have breakfast and don’t work too hard," Ye Wanwan reminded him.

"Sure, and you take good care of yourself," Shen Yi replied, now in his walk-in closet, preparing to change his clothes.

Ye Wanwan was just staring at her phone screen when she inadvertently caught a glimpse of the wardrobe behind Shen Yi and immediately widened her eyes.

Before Shen Yi had a chance to react, she hurriedly said, "I’m going to eat now, so yeah, bye!" and quickly hung up the video call. Her cheeks were already flushed. Ye Wanwan took a deep breath and then exhaled heavily, trying to cool down.

On the other end, Shen Yi stared at his phone for a long time after the sudden disconnection.

Song Ziyi teased on purpose, "Wanwan, why aren’t you asleep yet? Be careful or Shen will punish you!"

Then Lu Ning and Zhang Xinyue both posted emojis, obviously teasing Ye Wanwan too.

Ye Wanwan rolled her eyes, feeling that typing couldn’t express her speechlessness, so she replied with a voice message, "Shen Yi left on his flight yesterday, okay?"

"He left yesterday?" Song Ziyi replied in disbelief through a voice message.

"Then aren’t you bored at home all by yourself? Why haven’t I seen you talking in the group?" From Song Ziyi’s point of view, with Shen Yi away, Ye Wanwan would definitely be bored and constantly messaging in the group.

Ye Wanwan replied seriously, "I’m not bored, all right? Why would I be bored? I’m a perfectly independent woman; I have my own things to do!"
