Chapter 887: Chapter 866: Time to Return the First Kiss You Owe Me!

"Crap, if he doesn’t take advantage of this opportunity, wouldn’t he be letting down Auntie Ivy’s painstaking efforts and these two little tattle-tales’ report?"

"Rio, Chani, weren’t you two sleeping? How come you’re here?"

Roy Thompson hadn’t expected things to turn out this way; he was still figuring out how to answer the two kids when he got interrupted by Bella Gordon coming upstairs with hangover tea. Roy was almost scared by her arrival and kept making faces at the kids, hoping they wouldn’t give him away!

If Bella knew he was pretending to be drunk and taking the chance to talk nonsense, she would definitely be mad. She might even lump him together with those unreliable men.

"Well, sister, we came to check if Brother Roy has done anything to you?"

Chani Gordon saw Bella with the hangover soup and quickly popped her head out from the door crack, then bounced up to Bella, smiling and saying, "Sis, you’re actually making hangover soup for Brother Roy, you know. Brother Roy, you’re so lucky. I’ve grown so big, and Sis has never made me hangover soup!"

After speaking, she blinked earnestly at Roy Thompson, obviously with a ’you’re so lucky’ expression!

Bella Gordon: "..."

"Since when have you ever drunk alcohol that I need to personally make you hangover soup?"

Her mom was strict about lifestyle manners; no alcohol before coming of age, not even for her. Up until now, she hadn’t even tasted a drop of alcohol. Today, she almost had some before Morgan Sanders appeared out of nowhere and drank it for her, and after that, Brother Roy showed up—there was no chance for her to drink!

This little girl clearly had something up her sleeve. Hearing her words, Bella immediately thought, "Chani, was it you who called Brother Roy, so he had to fly here alone on his private jet in the middle of the night?"

To know, it was such a dangerous matter, she still felt scared thinking about it—he’s only nineteen and was all by himself!

"Sis, Brother Roy told me to..." Before she could type it out, Chani caught her brother’s dagger-sharp look and immediately stopped herself, "Sis, I was the one who called. Wasn’t I worried about you going to a bar with classmates in the middle of the night and getting bullied by boys? So I called Brother Roy to save the day, especially since my sister is so beautiful!"

After saying this, Chani looked at her sister appreciatively. Although Rio despised the act, he didn’t dare to speak out of turn in front of his big sister. During the upbringing process of cultivating the big sister’s clout, Michael Gordon had followed through with the promise he made to Bella back in the day. These two little ones were born to be spoiled by their beloved sister.

If you were to say who Michael Gordon spoiled the most, naturally it was the Gordon family’s Missy. Since being brought back home at the age of five, she was doted on to the point that even the gods would be angry. Michael spoiled her as much as he could; therefore, these kids were ingrained with the concept that their sister was the leader, almost obeying Bella’s every word. The occasional mischief had to be sneaky; in front of her, they were as good as gold.

"Cough cough, ’Brother-in-law’ isn’t a term to be used lightly. Call him Brother Roy!"

If this keeps going on, her face is going to embarrassingly turn red again. Usually, it didn’t matter when Roy wasn’t around for these two to call him brother-in-law, but now that he’s right here and they’re calling him that, it sounds almost like she taught them to do so. Perhaps Brother Roy was laughing at her lack of restraint in his heart.

Mommy did say that girls need to be reserved.

"Sis, don’t you want Brother Roy to be your brother-in-law?" While Chani was speaking to Bella, her eyes were fixed on Roy, with a look of blatant scorn for her prospective brother-in-law’s limited charm. At ten years old, the child understood quite a lot, "Brother Roy, you’re so pitiful. After guarding your future wife for so many years, it looks like it’s all going to be for nothing!"

Bella Gordon: "..."

Was this kid intent on causing trouble today?

"Chani Gordon, go back to bed right now! What nonsense are you spouting here? Don’t you know your Brother Roy drank too much?"

A drunken man can be very impulsive, you know. The man in front of her was already talking nonsense, and if these kids provoked him, who knows what kind of madness he might unleash!

"Sis, I’m so sleepy, I’m off to bed!" As soon as Chani saw Bella getting angry, she swiftly made her exit. Before leaving, she didn’t forget to remind her favorite brother-in-law, "Brother Roy, go for it! Tackle my sister, and you won’t have to worry about someone else taking her away!"

Every time there’s a hint of trouble, she has to call and report—it’s so tiring!

Bella Gordon: "..."

Is she my sister or Roy Thompson’s sister?

"Thank you, Chani, for the reminder, your brother-in-law will do his best!"

Roy glanced at the suddenly vanished twins, his smile deepening as he stared intently at Bella Gordon, falling silent for a long while before finally speaking again, "Bianca, I think Chani is right!"

"Right about what, you know you’re spouting nonsense!" Bianca retorted with an annoyed glance, her cheeks flushing red, instantly losing the mood to feed him the hangover tea; she promptly placed the hangover soup on the bedside table, "I can see you’re not drunk at all, drink it yourself!"

Roy: "..."

Not drunk yet still needs hangover soup?

Bianca had just turned around when the person behind her embraced her from the back: "Wife, feed me!"

Bianca: "..."

I just said he wasn’t drunk, and now he’s acting like this.

"Brother Roy..."

"Call me husband!"

Bianca: "..."

Where did he learn such cheesy names, not getting married, absolutely not calling husband.

Bianca resisted: "I won’t call you that!"

Roy compromised: "Then call me Roy!"

Roy?

Even cheesier than husband!

"Absolutely not!"

A drunk man, still so unreasonable!

"Then give me a kiss!"

Bianca: "..."

Is this guy actually drunk or not?

Isn’t it said that drunkards are persistently annoying, but why, whenever she refuses, does Brother Roy concede in an instant?

Aside from having a thicker skin than when he’s sober, none of his actions resemble those of a drunkard!

"Bianca!" Before Bianca could decide whether to agree or refuse, the man’s low voice, tainted with the scent of alcohol, wafted by her ear, slow and patient like he had suffered the greatest of injustices, "You should give me back my first kiss, shouldn’t you? Didn’t you say that you’d give it to me when you grew up? Now that you’re grown and have had your coming of age ceremony, you should give it to me!"

Bianca was speechless for a moment before recalling something from thirteen years ago. At the entrance of a cave, she had tricked him into a kiss, promising to return it when she grew up!
