Chapter 842: Chapter 821: Sienna Harrison Gives Birth!

The Little Princess stated it as if it were the most natural thing in the world, while Little Roy, the little prince, didn’t even have the courage to respond and was just blushing!

If they had already made a lifelong commitment, how could it be considered a secret crush anymore?

Young Master Roy expressed that he would probably have to spend a lot of time in the future indulging in a proper secret crush on his darling!

The names for the Gordon family’s twins were thus decided: the older brother Rio Gordon, and the younger sister Chani Gordon. For Mr. Gordon, who had just become a groom and was now blessed with both a son and a daughter, his mood was unbelievably good. When he was in a good mood, the whole of Andras City benefitted!

One moment he was donating to the orphanage, the next he was funding the construction of flyovers, and then before you know it, setting up a charity auction. In short, when Mr. Gordon was happy, he spared no expense!

Since Ivy Aretha had given birth on the island on her wedding day, she wasn’t in a condition to travel back and forth, so Sienna Harrison, Julie Harrison, Lina Miller and the other full-time wives stayed on the island to keep her company during her confinement. The men returned to work, but naturally, this did not include the man who had just become the father of three children.

Michael Gordon was the one that Ivy couldn’t chase away no matter what. He insisted on staying on the island, with a very sound reason—Bianca was born while Ivy was in confinement and he was not there for her; this time, he would attend to her every need, justifying it with the motto that a man who doesn’t know the hardship of a woman in confinement is not a good man!

This prompted Jaysen Smith to assert that when Sienna Harrison was in confinement having their child, he would prove his sincere love by not hiring a nanny at all, taking on the responsibility himself. This declaration left the women howling with laughter!

They were genuinely looking forward to seeing Jaysen Smith take on the nanny’s duties and how he would take care of Sienna Harrison!

In the end, Sienna sent him packing back to work!

The ones left on the island were Ivy Aretha, Julie Harrison, Sienna Harrison, and Lina Miller, with Michael Gordon as the only man around. All the others quickly returned to their businesses, and because he was newly married, Michael even gave Adam a few days off to have his child!

Unfortunately, this man’s lack of realization was akin to having a head made of elm wood. He was given time off, and yet when Ariana Hunt went out of town to film, he didn’t accompany her!

Eventually, Adam stayed home alone, found his bridal chamber boring, and dutifully went back to work, wasting the childbirth leave graciously given by his boss, Mr. Gordon, who was beyond words and had no comments to offer anymore!

A bunch of people enjoying their vacation on the island, but the happiest of all were the two little ones, Roy Thompson and Bella Gordon, who were glued to each other almost 24 hours a day. Soon, Julia would be taking Roy back to Corda City with Oliver Thompson. Ivy suggested the two little ones live together!

After spending an entire month on the island, Sienna Harrison’s belly had gradually started to grow. When Jaysen came to pick her up, he was full of regret for not having witnessed his wife go from a flat belly to a slightly protruding one.

When they returned home, Ivy Aretha had already recovered very well, yet Michael Gordon still insisted on staying at home with her and the three children, moving his work to the house. This only meant more trouble for Anna, who had to visit the house almost every day.

The Oliver Thompson family did not go back to the Gordon residence but instead flew directly from the island to Corda City. After living together for over a year, the two little ones had to part ways, leaving both deeply heartbroken. Bella Gordon cried for days, and Michael Gordon had no choice but to accompany her 24/7, talking to her and cheering her up, fearful they might inadvertently leave a shadow over her formative years.

It was Calvin Gordon’s words, in the end, that successfully cheered up the little girl!

As for what he said, the two of them, one big, one small, were adamant that it was their secret. And when it came to this secret, Ivy and Michael Gordon didn’t even bother to ask anymore.

In the blink of an eye, winter gave way to spring, and Sienna Harrison had reached her due date. However, just like Ivy, she showed no signs of labor when the date arrived, which scared Jaysen Smith to death. Every time Sienna coughed, he thought she was going into labor!

Sienna began to seriously doubt that if things continued this way, she wouldn’t be the one to get scared—instead, he would be scared to death: "Jaysen, if you keep going like this, I’m starting to wonder whether you’ll just faint right there under the operating table while I’m giving birth. It’s just giving birth, you know. Do you have to be so on edge?"

Sienna spoke as if she wasn’t scared at all, but only she knew how afraid she felt as she said those words. And since this man was even more afraid than she was, in the end, she just had to stop being afraid!

A week after her due date passed, Sienna was strong-armed by Jaysen into staying at the hospital. He just couldn’t relax, always worried that she’d go into labor the moment he fell asleep. Sienna didn’t really want to stay at the hospital, but seeing her husband in such a state—looking as if he might pass out if she didn’t give birth soon—she obediently checked into the hospital.

Worried she might get bored, Ivy brought her two kids to stay with her at the hospital, which ended up becoming their temporary home. Julie Harrison also came along to keep her company. Roy was in school and didn’t come with them, while Lina Miller naturally brought little Nora over too!

A group of women who had all given birth was sharing their experiences, especially Lina Miller, who had faced such dangerous circumstances yet experienced a miracle. After hearing about the risky situation Lina went through when giving birth to Nana Jensen, Sienna suddenly became fearless!

"Let me tell you, if I have a difficult labor, you must stop that idiot Jaysen from choosing me over the baby! After hearing about Lina’s perilous birth, Sienna fervently grabbed Ivy’s hand, imploring, "Facts have proven that only a selfless mother will witness a miracle. If Lina didn’t insist on saving the baby, Nirina would be gone!"

Before Ivy could respond, Nana suddenly burst into tears with a loud cry. "So Daddy didn’t want me, wuuuuh, why? Why?"

Lina Miller: "..."

"Nora, auntie didn’t mean it like that..."

Nana was already two years old and, being naturally gifted, kind of understood the dramatic tales the women were telling about childbirth. Hearing that her dad had chosen her mom over her, she felt abandoned, and her sadness flooded out!

Her cries were heart-wrenching, so full of grief. She really seemed like a child who had been left behind, the loneliest little girl in the whole world!

The always intelligent Sienna was so startled that she couldn’t come up with any comforting words, realizing that a moment of carelessness could be a grave mistake. A child’s character is set by the age of three, and if, because of her words, she cast a shadow over this little girl’s heart, her guilt would be tremendous!

"Nora, would your dad tell you stories every day if he didn’t want you? Would he shield you from getting scolded by your mom? Auntie was just joking, and you’re bawling like this?"
