Chapter 824: Chapter 803: Can’t Love, Want to Hate?
"Can’t get the love, so now you want to hate?"
The unexpectedly brazen young girl, instead of being terrified, astonishingly uttered such a sentence, leaving Alya Larson speechless in an instant. "The act of a scorched earth policy is what an idiot who can’t be more idiotic would do, do you know why my dad can love my mom so devotedly yet not even give you a glance?"
Upon hearing this, Alya Larson’s hand froze instantly. Her mind was somewhat disordered, all her consciousness was engaged in a fierce struggle between fleeing to the Orchid Kingdom and then making a comeback, and dragging her daughter to die with her, especially since Michael Gordon was unwilling to spare Risa Scott and Skyler.
Her father was powerless and the only solution was to be locked up for a few years before being released!
It didn’t matter for a man or an old person to be locked up for a few years, but now she was facing a situation where a young lady of marriageable age would have to spend a few years in prison. This would severely degrade her status as the Larson family’s precious daughter. By that time, even Sammy probably wouldn’t even want to be friends with her anymore!
A man of his status, obviously...
Rather than living a meager and painful life, watching the man she loved be affectionate with another woman, yet unable to let her go, the kind of heart-wrenching pain that would ***** and corrode one’s soul, it was indeed better to just die.
Alya Larson looked down at Bianca Aretha, examining her closely—from her facial features to her figure, and even the nascent temperament that could vaguely be discerned. This was the first time she really looked at this young girl. Undeniably, she would be a beauty when she grew up—a delicate face, fair skin, and a pair of expressive eyes that could soften even the hardest of hearts with just one look!
Even she, a woman with a heart of stone, couldn’t bear to see her wronged. No wonder Oliver Thompson’s youngest son was so attached to her at such a young age. It was certain that she would be trouble when she grew up!
"I don’t want to know why your daddy loves your mommy and doesn’t want to look at me. I only know that rather than letting you live and grow up to wreck havoc on men, it’s better to die with me, making your daddy’s lifelong regret meaningful!"
The thoughts of a person can be shaped by their wishes, and Alya Larson was naturally a ruthless person. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have been able to send a truck driver to his death without a second thought or even harm herself just to put Ivy Aretha in a dire situation!
Such a person is inherently demonic, and the idea of murder, once it takes hold, amplifies infinitely in the mind, eventually overwhelming reason.
"Dying with you is no problem. Getting rid of such a huge disaster like you for my dad and mom would naturally make me very happy. I’m just afraid that after I strangle you, I’ll regret it and then not want to die myself, then wouldn’t I have strangled myself for nothing?" Bianca Aretha, with her large twinkling eyes, stared unwaveringly at her, yet the look in her eyes betrayed joy when she glanced past the woman’s face to what lay behind!
She quickly averted her gaze, fearing that the woman about to kill her would discover the truth, and then they would both suffer at her hands.
"Auntie Larson, I can assure you, if you really kill me, you will regret it. Murder is not something suitable for a pretty girl like you to do. It’s better to live a bad life than die a good death. Once a person is gone, even if my dad remembers and hates you, do you know?"
Bianca Aretha grew more and more nervous as she spoke, fearful that the woman would suddenly turn around and see the person behind her, which would doom them both!
Yet, her appearance, tense and somewhat afraid, made Alya Larson mistakenly think the young girl was afraid of being strangled by her, hence the fear and nervousness!
"Bianca Aretha, you say..."
"My name is Bella Gordon!"
"Regardless if you’re Bianca Aretha or Bella Gordon, I want your life, and it will be but a moment’s affair. Even if your daddy were to rush here, with his incredible prowess, it would still take half an hour. By then, you would be dead! So, I advise you to just obediently listen..."
"Bang!"
Alya Larson’s words were cut off halfway when suddenly the sound of a wooden stick shattering a skull echoed violently, and then, Bella Gordon felt the hand clutching her throat loosen. The woman who had been kneeling in front of her fell to the ground with a thud, letting the bright red blood gush from her forehead, dyeing the small mountain cabin red...
"Brother Roy, I killed someone, I killed someone, what should I do? She’s dead, she’s dead; I killed her!"
After all, she was just a child. No matter how brazen, it was all talk, just pretense. The last time Roy Thompson was merely choked, the little girl had been scared into fainting. This time, a woman’s head had been cracked open right in front of her, frightening her into bursting into tears.
"Don’t be afraid, Brother Roy is here. You didn’t kill anyone; she was hit by me. Even if it was murder, I did it, it has nothing to do with you!" Compared to Bella Gordon’s panic, Roy Thompson was evidently much calmer. He went over first to take Bella’s hand, gently patted her back to comfort her and then checked the woman lying on the ground for breath.
"Brother Roy, is she dead?"
The little girl, terrified, hid behind Roy Thompson as if she had finally grasped a lifeline after drifting in the vast sea, clinging tightly to Roy’s arm, her voice quivering, "Brother Roy, if she’s dead, are we going to be shot by a firing squad!"
"TV always says ’blood for blood’ is only natural. I’m still so young; I haven’t even seen Mommy give birth to my little brothers and call me ’sister.’ I haven’t grown up to become a beautiful bride like Mommy. I don’t want to die, Brother Roy, I don’t want to die, wuwuwu..."
Just the thought of being executed by a firing squad truly scared the little girl!
Seeing her scared like this, Roy Thompson retracted his hand that had been checking Alya Larson for breath, and instead looked at her deeply, shaking his head helplessly, "Bianca, we are still minors. Even if we commit murder, we won’t be shot by a firing squad or go to prison; at most, it would be reeducation. Moreover, this is a case of self-defense; she was trying to kill you. Self-defense doesn’t warrant a punishment, so... can you stop worrying now, please?"
"So, being a minor has so many advantages!" Hearing this, Bella Gordon subconsciously let out a sigh of relief. Then, thinking it over, she felt something was still amiss and quickly blurted out, "But it’s still killing, I can’t get over it on my conscience, Brother Roy..."
"It’s okay. They say good people don’t live long, but troublemakers live for a thousand years. This woman is so bad; she won’t die so easily. She’s still alive, perfectly fine, can’t die!"
To be knocked dead by a single blow with a stick, one could only say that was the person’s fate!
